Five Star Pizza

I moved here less than a year ago and have systematically been going through all the pizza delivery places in St. Augustine, rating them on delivery time, order accuracy, and taste. So far Five Star is my winner. The pizza is delivered crazy fast, it’s never cold, and it is consistently exactly what I ordered. These aren’t fancy pizzas. The toppings are limited and the menu is basic. BUT if you want hot, fast pizza delivered to you, this is so far my best in town.

5 Star Pizza at 3 star prices!
Back in 2011 I gave 5 Star Pizza ²⁄₅ stars but boy have they stepped up their game.
Best delivery and they are open super late into the early hours of the A.M.

Excellent pizza for this area. I have been all over the country and have had some great pizza. The quality, freshness, service and price exceed expectations.
Always friendly delivery and fast! Wide variety of options to choose from. The have decent wings as well.
My go to place for pizza delivery always.

The only thing that they don’t have is: Tables to eat out there, but, that’s fine. Go eat by the Beach, nice view, fresh air and great Pizza.
Man, the bread cheese is so good, you need to try that one too.
Keep in mind their pizza is fresh and they will delivery to you super fast, never seen nothing like that. Keep it up guys.

Five stars for their delivery logistics — website, email alerts on pizza status, time to deliver. Three stars for the pizza. Just average.

The delivery is very fast and employees seemed nice, but the pizza isn’t the best tasting. It’s just convenient

Had hot and delicious pizza. Very good and pleasantly tasty. Fast friendly and professional. Ordered pizza to go. They delivered the pie to my car. Great service. Pizza had good amount of cheese and pepperoni.

Delicious pizza delivered to our hotel room for just .99 cent delivery. We ordered from here twice on two different nights.
On the first delivery, the man was very friendly and offered us change. The pizza was hot. Delivery man gave us lots of seasoning packets, plates and napkins.
On the second delivery, the woman took our money and didn’t offer change. My husband stopped her before she ran off and told her we wanted our change. She turned snotty and had to head back to her car to get the change. No seasoning packets, plates or napkins. The pizza wasn’t nearly as hot as the night before. She should be fired for trying to steal from us. We don’t mind giving a tip (we did for the man on the first night), but she shouldn’t just expect it.

Lunch was over 30.00 and neither my husband nor I enjoyed our food. Bland with the exception of too much salt. If we come back we will not have the same dishes.

Amazing service, open late and the owner stay late night, highly recommended !!!

Going downhill.
They are still the best pizza delivery in town: quality, quantity and speed. They should have stuck to pizza.
They recently introduced wings to their menu. A little pricy, but I’ve ordered them several times. The consistency is improving as far as size and cooking times go. I’ve always ordered mine plain with the hot sauce on the side. HOWEVER, the last time I ordered, the cost had increased slightly over $ 1. It turned out that they were charging 50 cents for each side, and I was getting 2 10-​wing orders. Spoke to a «manager», since this had never happened before; he didn’t charge me for the sauces «this time». but would check to confirm the policy.
I called back a few days later to check on the issue, and was told by a different «manager» that that was indeed the policy. If they poured the sauce on the wings, there would be no charge, but putting it in a SMALL plastic cup was 50 cents. Why? It was their policy. I could understand if it was extra sauce, but it wasn’t.
I asked which cost them more, the little cup of sauce or the container of Ken’s blue cheese dressing (which comes with it at NO extra charge). He acknowledged it was the blue cheese, which I don’t usually even get. He wanted to sell me some wings, but on his terms; he’d comp it, he’d give me special treatment, he’d substitute the sauce for the dressing. He was «winging» it as he went.:) The policy is simply wrong-​headed. When you’re charging almost $ 1 per wing, don’t nickel-​and-​dime the customers over the sauce.
Bottom line: If you must order out a pizza, do call them. If you want hot wings, call a Publix deli and pick up the order at half the price.

So so so good. Garlic rolls are my favorite and they make a mean thin crust pizza. Well priced, great specials and coupons, and delivery so fast. I love you five star. You give me a lady boner.

A good pizza. Not the best ever, nevertheless this number will go into my phone, and be used again– next time I’m passing through St. Augustine.

Ordered online for delivery to my hotel. Pizza came hot and delicious in no time.
They even brought plates, napkins, red pepper, and parm.

Insanely fast delivery
I don’t know if the delivery men wear jet-​packs or what, but my pizza was at my hotel door waayyyy faster than expected. The pizza was pretty good and at a great price too. I had been wanting PizzaTime pizza, but was not in the mood to pay for parking and walk in the tourist area, so luckily FiveStar was there for us. The only negative for us was the pizza was not nearly as good when re-​heated the next day.

Ordered half and half. Cheese and Philly Cheese steak with a side order of wings of the hot spice. We wanted NY style thin, so we ordered it well done so it wouldn’t be flimsy. Same for the baked wings, well done for better texture. For delivery/​take out, I would rank it better than most main stream highly advertised delivery pizza places! Definitely, on the list for pizza night!

When you want more grease, flavor, and local-​ness than the pizza giants, or when it’s too late for the other places.
The garlic rolls are oh-​so-​buttery-​garlic-​y!
The 18″ will feed several people, or maybe a whole family.
When our family is looking to chow down on some pizza for movie night, this is the best option in St Augustine.

Delivery was so quick… pizza was hot… yummy… barely any grease.
