Once again the inn has proven to be an excellent spot to grab a good beer and eat some excellent food. The food is perfect. Wether you’re getting a scallop roll(which is huge) or grabbing the signature chicken parm you’ll be satisfied. This place has it all. From the main meal to the appetizers it’s going to satisfy. When you arrive make sure to say hi to Mike who owns the establishment with his wife. Both are excellent and will willingly help you decide the best meal to fit your needs. I’ll continue to come to this great spot with my most excellent girlfriend. 5÷30÷16 Memorial Day Monday. What can I say? This place serves up the best food. Shnookums got the lobster roll and I got the scallop roll. As you can imagine 300,000 people are trying to leave the cape right now and every single one of them decided to stop at the inn. Both meals are incredible always a good time here. If you swing in this summer, try the limbo IPA or the Texas Mule. Love this place

My husband and I had Italian food. It was completely tasteless and overpriced. Will not be returning.

Had dinner at the Sagamore Inn with friends last night. I had the lobster salad over a Caesar salad as did my friend. My husband had the pork chop special and our friend had the schrod. Everything was fabulous! The«frosting on the cake» was the home made Strawberry rhubarb pie, and scrumptious! We live in The Pinehills and it’s only a 15 minute drive… we will return… soon…very soon. Love the retro décor, too.

Ending our mini anniversary vacation, the hubby and I stopped here on way home for a quick lunch. We were greeted right away and shown to a table. The waitress was good, attentive at just the right level. Before we ordered I needed bathroom break, my shoes stuck to floor all the way into bathroom, the sticky floor throughout left me with an uneasy feeling. However, we both ordered Turkey Clubs, this had real turkey meat, not the overly processed deli meat. Which was a great touch. We asked for mayo on the sandwiches, which a thin layer was added but we both agreed it needed a bit more bc sandwich was pretty dry. Would we be back, I am not sure. MAybe.

Wait person brought menus and said would be back to take out order. We looked the menus over and then sat and waited, waited and waited. Our wait person was sitting in a booth going over her tip money and sorting out checks. Finally I got up and asked the young man who had seated us if someone could take our order. So our wait person got up and came over and took our order. Had clam chowder and scallops, fries and slaw lunch. Chowder was cold, had to send back, then the meal arrived before we were done with the app. You would think the kitchen would make sure the chowder was hot before they sent it out. The scallops were good, fries were over cooked and the slaw was good also. What really set me off was every time our wait person approached our table and was next to it all you could smell was cigarette smoke. She reeked of it. It will be awhile before we go back there. Too bad, the chowder was good and the scallops were cooked just right.

I took my son here for dinner last night. We had a wonderful experience. The Inn provides a embracing, homelike atmosphere. We were seated right away and quickly given warm, fresh bread. My son ordered the homemade lasagna and I went with the veal parmigiano. They were both delicious and filling. I was able to finish my plate(no surprise) but my son had to take the rest to go. The wait staff was responsive and friendly. I look forward to the next opportunity to take the whole family here.

Great local restaurant. Food is fantastic and the ambiance can be described as «old Cape Cod», which translates to friendly and easygoing. By this time of year the staff is pretty much burned out, but our waitress was bubbly and energetic and the experience, as are all of our experiences in this restaurant, was a great one. Will be back time and time again.

Great fish n chips and fantastic specialty short ribs and Chuck burger. You know it’s a great burger when the juice starts to run down your forearms! The fries were crispy and flavorful. The fish was fresh and had a perfect light golden crisp batter. This was our 2nd visit and will certainly come back again for their Italian dishes. Apparently that is where this place really shines. Yummy!

We just had a party for 30 in their private function room, and it was absolutely perfect. The owners and staff… I cannot rave enough about them. The food is always great. And the place is charming anyway, always has been. But if you’re looking to have a private event, they have the perfect space(30 – 40 guests is about the capacity I think). In an age when people don’t call back, return emails, and bad service is rampant, this place is the complete opposite. They were so accommodating and friendly. Our guests wanted for nothing. And if you want the perfect bartender… ask for Wendy! Thanks Sagamore Inn for creating a perfect send-off for us. We loved it.

I pulled a U-Turn to get here… I was happy I cut off that lil olé lady and that dumb ass DUI guy riding his bike(that will teach him to drink and drive). We sat at the bar. My spaghetti and meat sauce girl with meat balls loved it, bread was warm, my lunch was perfect… great service etc. Personally these people that«wanted to like it more than 3 stars» because of only offering 3 salads that didn’t appeal to them or the one’s that didn’t like it because they don’t like anything in their life need to realize that it’s noticeable that their reviews offer little to my opinion. I am glad I discounted the mal contents because if you’re around the Sagamore Inn, it’s a go to place time and time again. I will be.

I frequent the Sagamore Inn. It’s one of my favorite places to eat on the Cape. The waitstaff is always friendly and they remember me every time I come in. It’s easy to become a regular. The food is delightful and they have a great variety.

This restaurant has been a family favorite since I was a young gal and the tradition has carried through to my adult children. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. We’ve shown up with over ten people in our party many times, and we are always accommodated without a fuss or a long wait. The staff and owners are caring and detail oriented. The food portions will satisfy the heartiest of eaters— everyone in the family has their favorite stand-by dish, but we all enjoy venturing to try another knowing it will be great. The food comes out fresh and hot, and it’s never been a disappointment! This is a «must» on the list for delicious and fun times!

My clam chowder was very good but my fish cakes had little flavor, even with added salt and lemon. The remoulade they served with it didnt help at all. The fish cakes came with(canned) baked beans and slaw, which was mediocre. Excellent service however.

I want to like this place more, but I just can’t. It’s worth more than 3 stars, but not enough to make 4. The service was definitely 5 star. Wine by the ½ carafe was reasonably priced and better than expected. The bread was fresh and worth 4 stars. They only have four choices for salad dressing, none of which sounded good to me, so I decided on the fish chowder. They appear to make with milk rather than cream, so it is thin and watery. It was also lacking in seasoning, but had a good amount of fish in it. I had a nightly special, Wiener Schnitzel. The veal was tender and I liked the panko bread crumbs, but like the fish chowder, it was lacking seasoning. As a side dish I had ziti with meat sauce. There was plenty of meat in the sauce, but the taste was unremarkable. Nothing we had was bad, I just wanted something a bit better.

5 stars only because I could find anything bad about it. Food, service, cleanliness, portions and prices were all excellent, This is not a fancy place, but reminds you of the old family style restaurants of years ago. Exposed wood walls, low ceilings, nothing high tech. Lots of comfort food choices in addition to the mostly Italian and seafood choices. Huge cocktails and even a decent dessert menu.

During season, they are open for breakfast Friday through Sunday and I love Sunday mornings here lazily eating breakfast, doing movie trivia(uh way too many questions about Mad, Mad, Mad World, and 3 Stooges — I’m a girl fgs!). Very reasonable, nothing fancy just good breakfast fare, but get this, we were here last week and my boyfriend tells the wife owner that it would be great if they stocked pure maple syrup(he’s a purist). Please see pix … a week later my boyfriend rather snarkily, I thought, said, «but you don’t have maple syrup.» and the husband owner said, «Yes we do, my wife had me get some this past week.» We will be here next Sunday. Have to mention, recently went back for dinner and had the baked stuffed shrimp. The best I’ve had. Not too much breading, very large shrimp, and delicious. They have a very welcoming, casual staff, we feel at home here.

The clam chowder was good, but I had to add some pepper on top because it was a little flavorless. The consistency was okay, but it still could have been thicker for my taste. The lobster casserole is the definite best dish at this establishment. You can’t find it in many other places, anyway, and this restaurant does a good job. The stuffing for the casserole is very rich, served with melted butter to be poured on top. The big chunks of claw, tail, and knuckle meat are generous. I definitely prefer eating lobster this way as opposed to cracking it open myself; I’m pretty lazy. I was so stuffed from my entrée that I didn’t order dessert.
