Three cashiers and 30 people waiting in line. I can’t. What makes it worse is the fact there are about 10 associates walking around the registers. It would be nice if this location had self check out.

I ran in for a few quick things before they closed and they said that they close in 5 minutes. So, if they close in 5 minutes, why was there a need to make me wait 15 minutes for them to open the register back up? They were also all conversing and gathered by the front to clock out prior to the store closing. I don’t get it!

Such a waste of time I came all the way from New York just to buy water and thinking that they don’t close since the web says it’s open 24⁄7 totally disappointed wasting my time gas and toll.

If you like a rude and ghetto shopping experience this is your place. The employees are trash. Is it that hard to look up and say hello? They make ya feel like you’re bothering them when I’m paying your salary. Will NEVER set foot in that store again…

It’s funny that people say it smells like Subway, because it definitely does! This store is always packed and I mean always! The reason I give it three stars is because no matter what, they almost always have most of or all the registers open and that’s unusal for any Walmart! The store itself isn’t so bad. The online pickup portion of the store could be a little more organized. The selection is decent as well. I prefer to go to a superwalmart any day but for certain purposes it’s not totally awful…

Terrible. The customer in front of the enormous line forgot something so he ran to get it which took 5 minutes… Meanwhile the cashier just sat there while he still had 50 other things on the conveyer that could have easily just been rang up. I go to Walmart for the pharmacy. I go to the pharmacy for my dog. Stella is diabetic and her insulin is $ 24 at Walmart and $ 125 at CVS. Her syringes are 100 for $ 60 at CVS and $ 25 at Walmart. It is this savings that garners them a 2 Star review. If they were not ridiculously cheap I would never set foot in there and would rather stick a fork in my eye than have to deal with them. Negative Stars anyone? The process is tedious and I think that’s understating it a bit. If you need to wait for a prescription, there is no paging system and no separate line. If they tell you it’s going to be say 15 minutes and you return in 20, you have no way of knowing whether it’s actually ready until you’ve waited in line yet again and deal with the clerk who’s clearly pissed off seeing you again. The rest of the staff may be helpful but I can’t actually comment one way or the other because the woman at the register mumbles and the pharmacist’s accent is so heavy that I have no idea what the hell she’s talking about. But again, they are substantially cheaper than any other pharmacy for those things so I grit my teeth and return every other month. Maybe if they pass out Xanax it would be more pleasurable. I would suggest it but again, there’s no way the pharmacist would know what I was talking about and even if she did, I would have no way of understanding her answer. Uggggggg.

I used to prefer coming here over the newer location in garfield, as it is usually less crowded. Sadly it seems everyone else now has the same idea. It would be nice if they could implement a rule stating not to bring your entire family shopping! Maybe limit it to no more than a party of 5. I saw groups of extended family. Im talking mom, dad, siblings, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles! The store is poorly organized the staff is kind of rude. If you must go here, go on a weekday during work hours!

I’ve never liked this WalMart but it’s usually because of the clientele, not the staff. Today was different… I needed a game out of the locked case and waited while the associate and his associate friend were smacking each other in the aisle. When they finished their roughhousing, I asked the one that came toward me if he could get the game out of the case for us, and his response? «I’m punching out for lunch, ask that guy over there,» gesturing 50 feet away to another associate who was already helping someone else. Now, not only is that the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time, but it’s also a great way to get customers to park their cart with $ 200 worth of stuff in it, and walk right out. It’s currently 6:30pm on Friday, December 26th, 2015. I don’t know the associate’s name, but whichever one is on «lunch» right now really needs to be told not to punch back in.

This is not the best walmart around. I like the one in Garfield much better because its a little bigger and has more variety. This walmart didn’t have a big selection of certain things like tea, arts & crafts, and other things. They did have a decent selection of toys and some foods like cereal and sodas though! Its really a hit or miss depending on what you’re looking for.

No one ever picks up the phone! It just keeps ringing and ringing. Next time instead of having my items from online shipped to store, I will have them shipped to my house because it is impossible to get someone to help you with your order. And when you finally do reach someone which is 1⁄10 times, they don’t know what’s going on. Walmart’s online customer service sucks too… If you don’t speak to the automated service, you’re waiting on the phone for a live person for more than 30 mins. Yeah they have good prices but you def get what you pay for in service.

One of the most awful Walmart stores. Not that the rest of them are so amazing, but this one’s customer service is not nice at all. Maybe it’s the frustration of the employees, go figure…

I wish I didn’t have to give this Walmart 1 star. I was really surprised that this Walmart was so disorganized and dirty. Parking isn’t that easy depending on what time of day and what day you go there. You could be riding around the parking lot for awhile. Around the nail polish display there is nail polish smeared all over the shelving… how does that happen? Doesn’t staff see what’s going on? The same thing has happened around the fabric paints, there is layer upon layer of paint that’s been squirt all over the counters. Clothing is a little better but still clothes strewed around. Doesn’t Walmart headquarters have a Q & department? The Walmart in Secaucus looks like it’s another chain, it’s clean and taken care of.

this Walmart doesn’t even deserve one star. I have never seen such a disorganized store in my life. rude employees damaged packaged goods. it’s better off being vacant land again. the management team needs to be replaced, along with most employees.

A typical Walmart, a ton of products and equally more people trying to purchase all of the products. Our check out cashier was very friendly and paid special attention in separating food problems from others to avoid cross contamination.

I Only come here during the week and after 5pm. For the most part it is quiet and well organized. The employees are not proactive but they are nice enough to answer my question without an attitude.

I see all the complains are about Sundays. I went on a Saturday night and it was fine. I found everything I was looking for and as always at the low Walmart prices.

Not a fan. Meaning, do not ever come here. This is such an awful store and it’s allegedly new. It is poorly laid out. The toiletries are in the middle of the women’s clothing department. At every other Walmart, toiletries have their own extensive section. And the selection is so small. It’s essentially the same amount of product that is in the CVS across the street from my apartment. The pricing on products isn’t much better than CVS either. So I really have no idea what the Walton’s are doing. The grocery section is disgusting. The produce is old and wilted. The bananas are overly ripe. I once bought a batch of molded strawberries. The bread is often stale. The frozen food section is laughable. There is no frozen salmon, tilapia, or tuna with seasoning. I don’t cook. Target is a better option for someone like me. It’s so crowded at the beginning of the month-yes, SNAP recipients need to shop, but staff better. other stores have more cashiers in anticipation of the rush during the first 6 days of the month. I barely come here– this is my last resort. Maybe if I am super lazy and don’t feel like going to Target in Edgewater or Clifton.(I boycott Target in Jersey City, they tow cars now). Bottom line: WalMart doesn’t really save you money. And this is probably the worst location in NJ.

I admit it, I’m a Walmart shopper. That’s because I love good deals! The prices are a lot better here than other stores, especially for name brand drugstore toiletries. As for the things you can only buy here, not so good quality, in my experience. I bought a $ 5 kitchen rug here once and that was all it was worth. I threw it out after a few weeks. I also bought a box of saltine crackers that had the inside plastic all chewed up. That was really awful. Another thing, they need to do something about their lack of inventory. The shelves were often empty for some items. They were out of club soda. They had no Maybelline Baby lips left. The ladies restroom is gross too. In need of a good scrubbing.

i love having a 24 hour super walmart near me and i’m so glad this place opened up last year! i don’t go as often as i like, but if i am driving by, i always need to go for a visit, even if i don’t have anything to buy. the huge plus is that they’re open 24 hours. i almost always come out with something. i like to see what’s on sale and i love how they have the fresh produce/fruit section is right on the right side when you walk in. albeit however, they don’t always have the best deals, but i still like having it there. i would recommend going at odd hours because it’s less crowded and it’s like having the store to yourself! i also love how they’re so close to sonic, the bayonne cruise port and goodfellas. bayonne is definitely going to become something in the next few years.
