Nick’s Sandwich Shop

Solid sandwich spot, friendly staff, always filled with locals. I was not blown away with the food, but I would come back. You know that when you come here you will leave satisfied. I got a cutlet sandwich, the chicken was fried well, and had a nice crunch. The shop is also very clean.

Tried Nicks again– took 5 minutes to get a hot steaming sammy. Thanks guys!

Why didn’t I find this place sooner?!
A friend of mine always raved about Nicks and I couldn’t find it until recently. Tried it finally for the first time today and it was amazing. I got my husband chicken parm. I wasnt sure what to get and so they asked if I liked eggplant to which I said yes. They had just made the eggplant fresh that morning. Not sure what the sandwich is called but had eggplant, roast peppers, balsamic and was DELICIOUS. If you haven’t been, what are you waiting for! Nicks will definitely be my go to sandwich shop now. Even if I have to drive past 3 others to get there!

I’m working an internship in Saddle Brook on Pehle Ave. I found this gem of a place on my third day on the job. The owners are extremely nice. It’s run by two guys who have been friends for some time. They’re awesome. I come here almost ever single day on my lunch break. Not because the food is fantastic and everything is homemade, but because it’s an experience. The owners actually care about their customers and they take an interest in my day. If you’re ever in town, definitely stop by. Great guys and great sandwiches.

Things that you want in a sandwhich shop, fast, good, and somewhat reasonably priced.
I decided to try nicks twice before i gave it a review. I dont like reviewing without some backing.
First time i went i got what i was told was a fan favorite (and will probably be a common choice of mine)
It had chicken cutley, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella. Chicken was tasty and not greasy, peppers weren’t overpowering the sandwich and the mozzarella was tasty.
I went back for a wrap with grilled chicken that was seasoned amazingly, provolone and shredded lettuce. The wrap was just as good as the sandwich.
The one reason why nicks didnt get 5 stars is because i like my bread on sandwiches to be more of a tough bread, nicks sandwich bread is more of a soft italian.
Short of that this place is going to be a perfect hidden lunch spot until people start packing the place.

WOW! Fantastic sandwiches!!! I had the grilled chicken panini… sharp priceline was to die for… garlic mayo was perfect!!! Everything is homemade and fresh!!! I think this place is going to do real well.
