You Should Own This

Dropped by here today during business hours. Knocked on the door and rang the bell, there was no answer.

I own a busy café in downtown Sacramento. We have a lot of mid century retro vintage furniture. The majority of which we purchased from You Should Own This. As you can imagine, furniture can take a beating in a busy café, so we needed sturdy pieces. Basically, all I did was let them know what I needed and what my budget was, and they found everything we needed. We purchased about two dozen chairs, half a dozen bar stools, and a credenza from YSOT — so far. When I need anything else, YSOT is my go to business. They could not be easier to work with. Highly recommended!

I see the company has made silly and deceitful insinuations, suggesting to readers that I’m not stable. Classy. While I’ve never been called unstable in my life, let’s say for a moment they’re correct. That doesn’t take away from the fact that everything I wrote is true. More likely the foul accusation is a sorry retaliation for my public anger at their business practices. Let me say again that everything in my post is true and accurate. I’m neither vengeful nor fixated. I’m just annoyed and embittered by such irresponsible and deceitful behavior. Unilocal is a place to share those experiences, so I did.
A few things they can’t refute (try asking them):
The inside of the drawers were partly spraypainted to cover little collections of black spots/​spores (many would call these spots indications of mildew).
They didn’t indicate that the unit had been spraypainted in any ad or communication (again, listed as in good condition).
They were 3 hours later than they said they’d be. Said at noon they’d be an hour more, showed up at 4 with radio silence in the intervening hours.
The unit was thrown into the back of a crappy pickup that had lots of trash in it. An indication of a lack of caution and care.
They agreed to a new price and then reneged.
They cancelled pickup 3 times.
Their paypal refund bounced from lack of funds AFTER they’d picked up the piece.
They used unnecessary and probing personal details in an email and a Unilocal post (since taken down due to violation of terms), seemingly to intimidate, including details and challenges about the work I do with kids.

Love my dresser! Nice, helpful people, too!

I seriously love these girls! I’ve already purchased three items from them and their prices are outstanding. I’m telling all my mid-​century loving friends about You Should Own This! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!
