The food here is really good! It a little beat up restaurant that you have to look for but the food makes up for it. You get a good amount of food for the price. They also do party sizes so you can order that at a decent price too. I think if they relocated or remodeled, it would bring a lot more attention to it.

Wayne’s Wok is my go-to for Chinese! Luckily it’s only a few blocks away from me but the distance doesn’t matter! If I recommend anything, it will be the orange chicken. I love their seasonal asparagus and shrimp also. But I always order their BBQ pork friend rice and chicken chow mein and switch the entrees around every now and then because they’re all really flavorful. It’s always great food. Service is okay but not the best when you order over the phone for pick-up but it doesn’t change how frequent I stop by for take-out. Haha.

I have been going there for the past 9 years. I loved their chow fun! For the past 3 years I have been ordering their party trays & I most definitely love their chow mein! My fave Chinese food restaurant!!! Very affordable! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I hate this damn place! I I called in an order of Chinese food but changed my mind about what I wanted so when I called back about 5 minutes later the lady just hung up on me. Then I call back and it rings forever and she picks up and puts me on hold for 10 minutes and when she gets on I’m trying to reorder and she says already canceled it what do you want? So if you want some good Chinese food with good customer service stay from here.

My all time fav Chinese restaurant! Best orange chicken and all the foods taste very authentic. I ate here since the fry chicken combo with chow min and rice were only $ 2:50 and now the same plate is $ 6 – 7 $, man I miss the good old days!

My favorite Chinese food spot, the orange chicken is my favorite. It doesn’t have that weird orange zest flavor. Everything I order is full of flavor, not bland like other places.

This place is just bad. Food does not taste fresh, service takes forever, and are food came out cold! Not to mention, it all just tasted so bad. Don’t get the orange chicken! It is just covered in terrible, thick, soy sauce goop. The place feels run down and dirty, too. Stay far, far away from this place or you’ll be stuck with a bad taste in your mouth… literally!

Just bought shrimp fried rice, and other entrees. Rice was so greesy the meat was dry as heck

Place was nasty even the rats, that greet you outside by dumpster. The roaches in the restroom were very friendly.

By far best Chinese Food in the world! Even in China. I ordered the sweet and sour pork, and there was more pork in my meal than in Food Max in a year! My wife and I love the place and are regulars now.

Been here a million times is still the best Chinese food in sacramento. I get house fried rice, and their broccoli beef is probably what you need to start out with.

The food here is a must for people looking for good eats in Sacramento. It’s situated in ampart of town most people would not feel comfortable in but it’s across the street from where Johnny Knoxville shot his Bingo scene from his movie«Bad Grandpa.» The lunch combos are a great deal. I personally recommend the chicken wing combo, their wings are to die for. The usual wait is about 15 – 25 minutes depending on how many orders you make, so you should call in the order rather than go order in person. I hope you liked it as much as I have the past 20 years of being a loyal customer.

A well known place in south Sacramento for Chinese food. I like to get the pick 3 for $ 18.99 you have choices of many meats and rice or chowmein. This food fills you up. The servers always say hello and are friendly. Yummy $ 7.99 lunches also

Hands down the best. If you live in the greater Sacramento area and have not been here. your missing out. Its worth the travel. Great price. The food is ridiculously good. The Orange Chicken here cannot be compared to the lower quality«franchise» Chinese food(i.e.Panda express). I suggest. Orange Chicken over Pork fried rice. I prefer all rice, but the orginal order comes with Chow mein. You know the rice and chow mein is good by the dark color unlike tasteless dishes which are very light in color.

If you’re used to a pampered, spoiled, rich lifestyle, then this place isn’t for you. For us normal folks, though – its awesome! Great service, great food, great value! Sure it may not have curb appeal, but its South Sacramento, so what do you expect. If you’re going to be a snob, go to Roseville or Elk Grove instead!

What can i say? This place is whack wok. The food was just not good the rice was over cooked the broccoli was mushy the beef was just a tiny bit not much. For what u pay tho they do give u alot but is not my cup of tea i wont be back. I will say they do have a koo weird looking fish. When i was there one of the cooks came out from the kitchen and fed the fish some raw shrimp. That fish ate them shits like a shark lol that was the only koo part of this visit. I wont be back normally i’ll he like«u might like it and u should go» but this time im just say dont waste ur time.

I’ve lived in the area for 8 yrs now and have driven by almost daily without every trying it out. I wish I would have continued doing so. Let’s start with the good. The gentleman that took my order was nice. The egg rolls and the hot & sour soup were very good and that’s about it. The average. The egg flower soup looked like it came out of a package. Nothing special or bad about it. At least it was hot. Now the bad. The fried rice was dry and very dark. The chow main was over cooked and very dark. The orange chicken was spicy, chewy and very dark. The Mongolian beef was not edible. In fact I took took two bites and threw the remainder in the trash. I’m not sure if there was any meat in it. It felt like it was just fat. Just like everything else it was a very dark color. The biggy especially for my kids… no fortune cookies in my large Togo order?! I would not recommend this restaurant to any friends or family. I was hoping that I had found a hidden gem but was very disappointed. We spent over $ 50 on this visit and wouldn’t have been happy paying half that. As far as the darkness of all of the product I would guess that it has been held hot for way too long.

Food ordered: egg foo young, honey walnut shrimp, and general chicken. I live 5 – 6 minutes away and by the time I got home the food was no longer crispy. I was disappointed. I guess the sauce can explain why… but in less than five minutes. Wow. Anyway moving forward, the food was passable enough but worthy of a second try?. No. I’d probably be happier at Panda Express… and that’s saying something since Chinese is as American as it can get there. I read the reviews before I went and thought I’d give this Americanized Chinese restaurant a shot and sadly I wished that I didn’t.
