Be careful what you order. They had a picture of a California burrito, made the normal way, with carne asada, potatoes, cheese, etc., so that’s what I ordered, with sour cream. They gave me a horrible, soggy, bean and rice filled mess with no noticeable sour cream or cheese. My poor husband ate it, since we just wasted like $ 8. I would never expect the food to look like the picture but it should least have similar ingredients. The guy said«oh, that’s just a picture.» I was tempted to try something else but who knows what they put on their other food. Maybe nachos with ketchup or a quesadilla with mustard.

All I can say is… «AMAZING!!» They actually carry gorditas which are so good and the prices are great. For just a few dollars you get fantastic food. I have been finding them at the Carmichael Farmers Market on Sundays.

Tacos Los Reyes was our bi-weekly food truck today. Several people from my office, including myself, ordered food. I tried their supreme tacos(1 asada, 1 carnitas). The tacos had meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. They were worth the $ 3.00 each that I paid for them. I almost didn’t finish the second one. They are definitely bigger than the street tacos. I placed my order and had hot food in just a couple of minutes. It was great! They had a couple of different salsas, lime, chopped onion, cilantro and radishes to garnish your food. I tried the green salsa. It had a really good flavor. Not too spicy which is just how I like it. I almost didn’t eat at the food truck today. I probably would have been a bit disappointed had I went with the free pizza our office had today.

I will keep this brief. FOODSUCKED! Tacos Los Reyes agreed to provide food(w/a written contract) for a MAJOR fund raiser my church hosted in July 2014. All things were a «go» until 2 days before the event. At this time, they raised the price of the food considerably(although we had a contract) or threatened to walk away as the vendor. The food committee felt they had no choice at such a late date & gave in to their extortion tactics. The guests were not fed on time, as it took HOURS for 250 people to be fed. These people are SCAM artists that do not deserve to be in business.

Best Mexican Food Truck Ate at Tacos Los Reyes Food Truck tonight at the new Yolo Brewery. Steak quesadilla was awesome! MUCH better than the last two food trucks I’ve tried(can’t remember their names). Family run … super helpful and nice people. Mom in front of me wanted vegetarian options for her family and they helped her figure out what to order. Great service, great food, reasonable prices … check them out!

Can’t say enough good things about these folks, their food, and the great set up. Delicious, fun, clean, FASTER than FAST, authentic(was that even a question), great variety, and reliable. In addition to having an excellent super quick meal one afternoon in their regular location, I found these folks on Unilocal, and they catered a block party for me with their food truck, with over 75 guests. They provided a great atmosphere, and guests were overwhelmed with the great flavors, huge servings, and great prices. Very professional.

The steak quesadilla and their hot salsa is hella good and filling! The truck came to my work and hasn’t been back so I haven’t had the chance to try more items. Guess my coworkers didn’t buy enough tacos from them. I’d love to try them again.

Great hidden Gem for anyone in the Arden-Fulton area that wants some tasty tacos fast at a reasonable price. I work on Fulton Ave and this is my go to place for tacos. Almost every other taco place on Fulton is a copy cat with similar taste. Los Reyes brings in some Mexican Michoacan flavor that tastes great. This is a Family Run Operation run by E.G. and Luz. I asked Luz about her recipes and they have been handed down for 3 generations. Their original location was in the State of Michoacan in Mexico. Plenty of space to park, low traffic area, and decent tables and chairs for those nice days. My company hired them for a Catering Event last November and the service was A+. They were on time and went above and beyond to serve the event.

Location: In the St. Matthews Episcopal Church parking lot off of Edison Avenue. Can’t miss it if you use that as your landmark ;) ^^^ This would be my check in commentary as we set out on our Sunday morning early morning post-Walmart run in search of our«new» «Super Burrito» haven since moving to Sac nearly 4 months ago; both famished and ready to tear up a deliciously freshly prepared Carne Asada super burrito to officially start our day… Called first to make sure that they were indeed at the address listed here on Unilocal as well, its a mobile food truck so we left nothing to chance… We called, they answered and we skipped on down the road… Interestingly enough this lil mobile truck is located rather close to our Casa; yet another added bonus. Having a man who speaks not only English but Spanish fluently has once again proven to be an invaluable bonus as the owners of this lil tricked out traveling taco wagon also speak both languages but it was awesome to see them let loose in their native tongues ;) POISONOFTHEDAY: Carne Asada Super Burrito and on the side a freshly grilled super-sized Jalapeño, slamming grilled onions and 4 of the cutest«to go» salsa filled travelers filled with red and green salsas. PICS are up on here of their menu’s as I’m not going into detail about all that they serve in my review. HERE’s what we LOVED: FAMILYRUN&OPERATEDBUSINESS: Yep! This little small business is operated by a husband, wife and son trio. Abel is the husband, Lucy the wife and their son Nestor is the young pup who is clearly in charge of their PR and marketing department. Told Nestor we lived down the street and were looking for our new one stop shop for a kick ass Carne Asada Super Burrito and that we had found them on Unilocal which he immediately recognized and said he had an account of his own on here although I don’t see that they have actually claimed the business listing yet although I encouraged him to do so. A TOUR of the inside of the wagon: Got invited inside to take a peak at the interior of the taco wagon ride and was pleasantly surprised to see it was immaculately clean! From floor to ceiling and all areas in-between. Also got to watch Lucy grilling home made sopes and the fresh jalapenos and grilled onions that we would later dine on. STATEISSUEDHEALTHDEPT. CERTIFICATE: Yep! Displayed on the OUTSIDE of the wagon for all to see… First time I’ve seen something like this and well. I loved it! EXCELLENTCUSTOMERSERVICE served with a side of sincere gratitude: YEP! We were greeted from the moment we barely got out of our ride with welcoming smiles, dialogue and appreciation for our impending purchase. And all of this at around 830−9am too! OLDSCHOOL Family feel: YEP! I am a sucker for small businesses who have the balls to strike out and go into business for themselves as that’s what this country was made of in the first place. These three people were humble, friendly, gracious and took pride in their work. AFFORDABLEPRICING: Yep! $ 5 bucks got us a damn good sized, freshly made Carne Asada Super Burrito filled with freshly tender pieces of asada, whole pinto beans(although you have the option of refried beans as well), fresh salsa and cheese… It does come with rice however we always hold the rice due to low carb eating and it was surrounded with a huge fresh flour tortilla. OUTDOORCOVEREDSEATINGAREA: They currently have 2 good sized banquet sized tables with seating AND umbrellas for the option of sitting down and eating right there on site. PLUS the area is surrounded by grass and trees which I particularly enjoyed. We took our stuff home so we could drown it in the beloved sour cream as is customary for us BUT its great having the option to eat there as well. Here’s what I DISLIKED: Flavor…It lacked… Although we both have taste buds that demand serious flavor in all that we eat I understand that each cook has their own methods of seasoning their foods. We both found the meat to be too bland for us as well as the salsas… Adding some salt and some more flavorful salsa at home helped immensely however we both prefer to not have to add much to our purchased foods so that’s the one area that was a disappointment for us… Not having the rice added into the burrito left its shell not as full as we like it. What can I say. We were spoiled at Cutija where we came from in the toilet bowl of the universe Los Banos which is where we moved from and where they made the still to date most amazing Carne Asada Burritos minus the rice and it was still huge and stuffed full… We will be back to experience them again as we loved the customer service, freshness of ingredients and their amazing personalities PLUS they are brand spanking new so its too soon to say what their true potential is…
