After years of going to various Taco Bells around the state I’ve come to understand a common theme among orders I’ve made: TACOBELLISSTINGYWITHTHEIRCHEESE. So in order to combat this invasive practice, I make a point of ordering extra cheese on each item for an extra $.39 cents a pop. Now one would think that after paying $.39 for extra cheese, one would receive a generous portion of aforementioned cheese. NOTSO!!! In fact, after ordering extra cheese on many, many items at Taco Bells over the years I’ve noticed that usually you only get a small amount of extra cheese, and sometimes, STILLGET A SMALLAMOUNTOFCHEESE, even after paying their extra cheese premium. So last night, I went to this Taco Bell and ordered two chalupa supremes and a taco with extra cheese. Although I’d wanted extra cheese on all three items, they only gave me extra cheese on the taco, but I don’t fault them for that because I probably wasn’t clear and they only charged me for one extra cheese anyway. But the surprise came when I opened my taco. They had given me SOMUCHCHEESE!!! ITWASGLORIOUS!!! After YEARS of ordering extra cheese, I have NEVER been blessed with so much cheese on a taco. There was almost as much cheese as there was lettuce. There was even enough to give my dog a taste. I regret now that I didn’t take a picture to post on my Instagram. Thank you Taco Bell. I can die in peace now that for but a brief moment I have tasted the such an appropriately-cheesed taco. Bless you! Bless you my friend! (Only four stars though because the chalupas had like almost no cheese at all).

Last week my friend and I were looking for food after getting out of a lounge. We were so hungry and got turned away from one other place as they were closing. We drove up to drive-thru and were told by an automated system they closed at 2am and then the drive-thru associate, Andrew, also confirmed it even though it just turned 2am. However, he was actually gracious enough to make us food anyway when we told him how hungry we were. He accommodated us even though he didn’t have to. We appreciate you Andrew! Great customer service!

I came here at 9:45pm on a Tuesday night. Went through the drive through. No line, no rush. We ordered two quesalupas and a quesarito. Our food was served quickly, however the quality was absolutely terrible. Neither of the quesalupas had cheese in the shells. They both were very stale and hard to chew. The chicken in the quesarito was very dry, and there wasn’t very much cheese in it. Totally disappointing experience. The only reason this isn’t one star is because the attendant at the window was very polite.

Just seems to me the food at Taco Bells are kind of the same, so this review is not built on that as if you go to Taco Bell, you probably already have a decent idea what you will be getting in terms of quality, flavor, etc. This rating is built on other factors. Staff seems fairly good with concern for the customer. Place is generally clean, but policing the eating area a bit more would be nice. Indoor seating area seems small, but probably adequate. What hurts this place significantly is the parking lot and drive thru. Very small. During busy hours the drive thru can back up so much as to be back on 57th street even blocking traffic. In terms of parking, that can be a challenge with very few spots. They do seem to let the workers park in the lot, thus taking a high percentage of spots. Thus you can be stuck parking up the street if you want their food. So long drive thru lines or parking up the street to get your lunch/dinner very much not a good experience. And one more thing. They also seem to let employees park up against the drive thru lane making people trying to get out of those front parking spots very susceptible to an unnecessary accident. All this can easily be avoided if employees were required to park on the street where I believe there are no restrictions/meters.

The food is fine. No complaints. But after not receiving sauce with my order on 3 different occasions I must complain. I ordered 2 Mexican pizzas, 6 tacos and asked the guy at the window if my sauce was in my bag. He says yes. So I drive off believing what an employee tells me only to get home and have absolutely none in my bag… So of course I am stuck eating dry tacos and yes very irritated. Next time I order… if there ever should be a next time … they are going to ask in a very stingy annoying way how many sauces I want and Taco Bell you do not want that answer. You owe me a shizz ton of sauces!

One of the original mission style buildings. If you look on the wall to the right of the registers you will see history preserved in the photograph. This Taco Bell is a testament to both internal and external teamwork. They treat each other with respect and kindness, and I’ve witnessed them feed those short on cash who looked hungry. You are all Champions, keep up the good work.

Okay, I’m just going to get few little negatives out of the way(well, one of maybe two) and then the rest of this review will be all happiness and rainbows. The parking lot is a bit small and can get full quite quickly. You may have to use street parking sometimes. And if you’re ordering drive through, you might be stalled on the road during the busier hours. Like a lot of other Unilocalers, this particular Taco Bell is just too special to me to NOT Unilocal about. And believe me, I’ve been putting it off for quite some time because I was afraid that others would discover how awesome this one is compared to others that are also pretty closeby. Anyway, the service at this Taco Bell is pretty amazing. This Taco Bell is clean. The food tastes great. They usually get my order right; I’ll admit, they have made one or two mistakes in the past, but when I do raise my concerns, I don’t get any push back at all. This brings me to one important selling point at this Taco Bell, which is their amazing service. I have experienced some of the most friendly Taco Bell staff here! You almost forget you’re at a fast food place. When I order food, they ask for my name. They don’t give me a number that I’m likely to forget. When my order is done, they’ll just call out my name instead. For a Taco Bell, this is a luxury! And I definitely appreciate it. And in fact, not only do I not have to memorize a number, but sometimes they will just bring my order to my table! And I don’t even have to tip or anything! ;) ;). It’s the little things that this Taco Bell does that makes it such a joy to eat at, and I highly recommend it.

Let me start out by saying that going anywhere during lunch time is a bad idea. I came in and there was a big line to order food. I have been to the drive through several times and today I decided to eat inside. Well I ordered a number 7 and went to go sit down. While I was waiting for my food, I was approached by a man that asked me for change and smelled so bad that I lost my appetite. The order came and I ended up taking the food to out side to eat on the patio hoping that the fresh air would help calm my stomach and it did. I ate mu Quesada and my taco and left. About 5 min later I felt it. I had the worst stomach ache that I had had sense I caught superbug and I could not keep any of the food down. The employees were super nice to me which was a pulse and the interior of the place was designed better then most fast food places but getting that bad of a stomach ache 10 after leaving was not cool. I might be back when it is less busy or I might not. We will see,

The food is the same as every other Taco Bell! What I’m giving 5 starts for is the customer service I experienced. I ordered the meal deal D at the drive thru, when I got the order I saw it wasn’t correct so I checked the receipt and sure enough it said meal deal B. So I went in and right away the manager or shift supervisor(I’m not sure) apologized and got me the right order and apologized again. I didn’t even have to ask or really explain. That is customer service! Wonderful!

I know, I know. Why is she rating a Taco Bell? Because this is the only decent Taco Bell in town that I am aware of, and the world needs to know! Each time I come here, the employees are super nice, the food comes out correctly, well made(nearly looks like the picture for Christ’s sake), and fast, and the dining room is clean. I have a weakness for chicken supreme chalupas, and these hit the spot during a day of errands and shopping. The one time they messed up my order, they fixed it with an apology and a free order of those cinnamon sticks. It’s not that I encourage anyone to eat at Taco Bell, I just wouldn’t discourage you from eating at this particular location. Four Chalupas Up!

So we decided to try this place for their new breakfast they have been advertising. The food was horrible. But not because they made it improperly… just because the food is gross and the coffee is sludge. However, the staff was so attentive, nice, happy, and energetic they actually made my morning! So if I were rating the food, it would be two stars… HOWEVER, I think that these friendly people make this place the best it can be!

Love dis T BELL in town. The spicy potato soft tacos are to die fo. They keep making post more stuff. Simple post should be enough. Other wise people will stop posting stuff if it’s like a test at school. just saying. I like the place and took time to post it, that should be sufficient.

There are those who scoff at me for reviewing places like Taco Bell, but patrons deserve a good experience whether they are paying $ 3 for a meal or $ 130 for some overpriced bullshit meal. Luckily, the Bell is a place where I can get a meal for $ 3. While I usually just get a couple bean burritos, my boyfriend likes to indulge a bit more. What really impressed me was this: he ordered a Mexican pizza with no tomatoes and we also ordered nachos, but neither of us mentioning anything about the tomatoes on that dish. When we pulled up to the window, the employee(Chris, I believe) asked us if we also wanted to hold the tomatoes on the nachos too – yes, we did! But apparently both of us were too excited to tear into some TB to remember that. Thanks to Chris, we were able to eat our meal without having to pick off tomato bits. Good looking out.

This Taco Bell is too damn far away from everything. I wonder how many times I almost got a DUI trying to get a damn taco at 3am. Yes, you are right. Zero, because that would be some absolutely ridiculous crap to have to explain to my mother, who is a straight-up WASP, the morning after. I’d rather lay on a prison floor covered in puke than have to deal with the repercussions of my mother learning that I got a DUI on my way to god damn Taco Bell. I’d have to try to sell her some bullshit that I was trying to pay my SMUD bill physically to save the cost of postage. Like I was so efficient I forgot that I was drunk. Ya. As for the restaurant itself, it is extremely efficient and the drive thru moves! Now it even has two tables that people can sit at, during the«restaurant’s» open hours. I’d rather take it to-go, park on Rodeo, and sober up. Totally kidding. I have never done that. Never have, never will. Word.

Great food, as with most Taco Bell has. TERRIBLE customer service. I’m not a soda drinker so I always ask for a water cup. The employee immediately gave me a rude remark ‚” Be sure you don’t get any soda” she said in a demeaning tone. It may not mean a lot, but at that moment I was immediately dissatisfied with my meal. My usual Chalupa didn’t even taste that great with such a rudeness. Sincerely, from a guy who asks for water cups and gets water.

Drive-thru review! Always seems soo slow. Also, they never give you any hot sauce. But I do love the computer screen where your order is verified and I’m a fan of their Fresca menu, so two stars!

This is one of the OG Taco Bells because it doesn’t have any indoor seating. They do have ONE small table inside in the very corner, but unless you’re here with someone I don’t recommend sitting there by yourself because you’ll look like a total loner. Food is great, consistent with other TB locations and the customer service was pleasant. What sucks is you won’t have anywhere to sit and eat on rainy days unless you’re going through the drive thru.
