This isn’t exactly a charming location, but I stopped in to try their donuts, and not for the ambiance. Good thing I had some cash because they don’t accept credit cards. The selection was very small when I arrived in the early afternoon. I picked out two different cake donuts, and was talked into getting a third donut so went for raised with granular sugar. When I took a bite of the 1st donut(cake with sugar-glaze frosting & pieced of peanuts on top), no kidding, the opening of the song Cheek to Cheek by Fred Astair popped into my mind: «Heaven, I’m in heaven», because it was that amazingly good. There was a crispy surface, unlike any donut I’d ever had before that gave a perfect crunch, followed by a light and delectable interior, with the glaze and peanuts adding more flavour. I took a bite of the 2nd donut(chocolate cake with chocolate frosting) and it had the same fabulous crispy crunch, with good chocolate flavour. After trying the cake donuts that were so delectable, I was really excited to try my favorite kind of donut(raised) thinking that it would really be light and heavenly but I was disappointed. It was too bready and heavy for my taste rather than having the delicate, melt in your mouth quality I want in the kind of donut. Two out of three being exceptional isn’t bad, I definitely would want to return in future to get more cake donuts and maybe try some other things from here.

Came in around 11am on a Saturday, I don’t know if they have a sign in the front of the store with their hours, but on here says they close at 4pm. But when I came in they were sold out of donuts, the woman was friendly and apologized, but that is unacceptable! You’re losing money here… What’s a donut shop with no donuts? She said she was gonna close the shop for the day since there weren’t any more donuts… I would’ve been so pissed if I came later! Ugh just stupid stupid stupid

Simply amazing. Best donuts I have ever had compared to either Wal-Mart and/or Krispy Kreme. Where have I been.!? I sofa king love this place. Great service, awesome employees. They treat you like family. Loves it. Will be back again! Thank you.

Their donuts are pretty good. The customer service? not so much. They don’t take credit cards and they charge $.50 for ATM. Great thanks for letting me know, NOT. There’s no sign anywhere and the lady doesn’t tell you anything. The only way I found out was when she told me to input my pin number and there was a tiny piece of paper on the pad indicating the charge. HOLDUP! I’m not paying a $.50ATM charge for a $.65 donut.

While yard saleing in my old neighborhood of Larchmont near La Riviera Dr. & Folsom Blvd., we needed an early morning energy jolt of coffee and sugar. Luckily we happened to spot this donut shop nestled in an old strip mall that once saw better days. As I walked in to the shop, I immediately noticed that the selection was a bit limited. My boyfriend and I had our hearts set on a few favorites that they didn’t have. No chocolate cake donuts, no poppy seed muffins, no scones, not even decaffeinated coffee. I finally had to settle for a couple of blueberry muffins, a coffee for me and hot chocolate for the BF. The couple running the donut shop were a little quiet, but pleasant enough. Maybe they were caught off guard when I kept asking for items that weren’t on display. There were a few people inside talking and enjoying their«breakfasts». The muffins were fresh and OK tasting, but the blueberries didn’t seem to add much sweetness to the cakiness of the muffin like I was expecting. I was hoping to join my fellow Unilocalers in writing a review that was more than 3 stars, but unfortunately I wasn’t wowed on that morning. After reading other reviews and seeing the photos, it could be that I got there on an off morning when they either were sold out or just didn’t bake their usual variety of baked goods that I didn’t get to experience. Since I’m in the area a lot, I will definitely stop in again to see if I can catch them on a better day…

All of the donuts here fall into the very traditional and standard variety. I was a little disappointed to find that there weren’t any donuts with breakfast cereal or bacon crumble. What they lack in «modernization» they more than cover for in quality. They have consistently delivered very fresh, well made donuts that are exactly what you hope for when you are in search of a maple bar. The donuts have a crispy but not greasy exterior and have never had a hint of that old-oil flavor that some places can’t seem to shake. The exterior doesn’t look like much and the interior might be a shade worse but I will definitely be back and this is my new go-to donut shop for traditional and simple donuts.

OMG They are fantastic… Their glazed doughnuts are like sweet heavenly clouds… and their old fashioned are soft, yet dense… I have only been there after 12 on a weekend, and they were still that good!!! The old couple that own the place are adorable and so nice :) I have made a point to stop there a few times… The price is great too… I live all the way in Cool… not close… LOL… I happened to be in the area, looking for a doughnut… I almost went to 7−11… I am soooo glad I checked Unilocal before I settled!

One word, AMAZING Eating one of their glazed donuts early in the morning is Aaa-Mazing I enjoy their air to dough ratio here more than Krispy Kreme. Krispy Kreme has too much air in their glazed. I feel like I need to eat more than one, but if i do, it becomes too sweet for me. These glazed donuts are perfect for me

As another reviewer mentioned– the donuts are fresh! You can find this place in the back of the bicycle shop and the Korean restaurant seen from Folsom Blvd. When I walk in, I’m greeted by a man and woman(they might be husband and wife), friendly and upbeat. I stop by around 7am and usually find some customers from the neighborhood sitting at the table chatting it up and sipping their coffee. This is the only donut shop in the neighborhood. The prices are reasonable enough that I can afford to buy a couple of dozen donuts for my students. You get a free one for every dozen. What they say about finding a cop at a donut shop must be true because the last 2 times I’ve been here there was a cop getting his regular order. Safe place to be! haha. I think next time I’ll buy that cop a donut and get on his good side.

Exactly what you expect a coffee shop to be… tasty donuts, cheap coffee, and old guys talking politics in the corner. I was really happy that they had custard eclaires, because many places just have cream filled, which are gross. I also had a chocolate old-fashioned, which was pretty good as well. Slight knock for not having skim milk, but whatever. I wasn’t blown away by anything(but come on, they’re donuts), but if you’re looking for a donut shop, you could certainly do worth than Station Donuts.

I’m seeing stars after being awfully impressed with the freshness of the donuts I picked up here for myself and the co-workers. Since I was the only cosmonaut allowed to leave the mother ship for an untethered space walk, it was my duty to return non-empty-handed. During my return trek, I took a chance that an otherwise nondescript shopping center off of Folsom Boulevard contained a bakery of sorts. I maneuvered my pod into orbit where I luckily spotted Station Donuts on the event horizon. The selection of fried dough goodness is stellar! Crullers with maple, old-fashioneds with glaze, crumb tops and sprinkles, and, of course, chocolate raised! The woman who served me patiently indulged my need for a wild assortment to round out a dozen. She not only filled the jellys on the spot, but she also threw in a free massive fritter. A dozen were only $ 6.79, so I tipped her a buck and change. My comrades let me back into the airlock without hesitation once they realized the value of my payload. We all marveled together at the beauty of a universe that offered such sweet doughnut bliss.
