Sacramento Community Convention Center

There is nothing more important than a building that actually contributes to our city as a whole. Conventions are important to the economy, and having a location available for gatherings, meetings, shows, exhibits, receptions and lectures, is a great way to bring recognition to the public who share an interest.
This building is truly a land mark that has been a part of my life in more ways than one. I have lost count at the number of functions I have attended at this very building. Whether it be a small meeting to a large convention, I can proudly say I was there! Some of the highlights in my life have been Home and Garden Shows, the Sacramento Arts Festivals, the SPCA Gala Ball, and seeing psychic Sylvia Brown in person! But some of my best memories were the Sci-​Fi Conventions where I could geek out with my friends without worry of ridicule!
This facility is nestled in the heart of downtown and its one-​way streets, where parking can be hard to find, and traffic gets atrocious! But despite Sacramento’s ever evolving and growing population, the Sacramento Convention Center will always be a welcome presence that can handle the masses. It’s THAT big!
