Rubi Micro-cafes Seattle’s Best Coffee

Not just in downtown but also out in the burbs. 140 in Northern California at the start. I liked it. The kiosk was quick, easy and good tasting. Was it gourmet? No. Was it a solid cup of joe? Yes. I love the convenience of it. The set up is much like Redbox, who coincidently, was made by the same company. I have been missing Seattle’s Best since Border’s demise so I was happy to see them join the game again albeit in the micro-​café format. The kiosk was at the front of the store so you can dash in and out and not even shop. shhhh about that. This coffee was brewed on demand and available in five or six flavors. Dark roast, decaf, café mocha, café vanilla and hot chocolate are what I remember. You can have 0 – 4 creamers same with sugars. There are standard cups along with cardboard wraps to keep your hand from burning just like the Seattle’s Best stores. It comes in at $ 1.00 or $ 1.50 depending on size. The machine takes bills and credit cards too– no need to carry cash. You wait a couple of minutes and wha la fresh brewed for you anytime you want within store hours.
