Unfortunately they no longer offer gluten-free food, and advised me as a celiac to eat elsewhere so I won’t be returning.

The Menu looked delicious. We were seated and had to wait 20 minutes for our waiter to come by. He was friendly. Brought us water and then it took another 20 minutes for him to come back to take our order. When the food arrived I was disappointed my RoseMary fries were cold. They had been sitting waiting for other food. They were thin cut my favorite with good flavor but there is nothing more unappetizing than cold fries. My friend had a brunch item and it looked good. She asked for limp cooked bacon and it came back super crunchy she waited so long for the water to come back that she decided not to send it back. Her french bread french toast was good along with the home fries. My other friends salad was good. She was disappointed she asked if they only had candied walnuts to please leave them off her salad. Her salad arrived with candied walnuts. She too waited too long for the waiter to come back that she just put them to the side. We were at the resturant for about 2 hours. During that time I had my ice tea refilled once. I think the food could be good, but the waiters need to be better and more attentive. We didn’t mind the long time at lunch since we were all catching up, but it would have been nice to have enjoyed hot food and beverage service to make the time more enjoyable. I would not go back there again.

The food and service are okay, but I would come here for a special occasion. I would come here just to get away from all the tourists, shops and stuff that makes Old Sacramento your railroad museum destination.
