Nice, Inexpensive Generic Tech Equipment & Close to Downtown

I have an old old school FISHER stereo system (read that as in «1984» — no, not the George Orwell book, but rather the actual year of how OLD this one system is). The funny thing is… IT STILL WORKS.
However, trying to order specific equipment parts is a total pain in the ass. When the old school headphones that came with this system had the left earpiece frazz out on me a few years back, I just didn’t want to deal with the drama of extra expense.
Lately, however, my neighbor (I live in a condo where my living room with the music system is adjacent to her bedroom) has expressed her misgivings about me blasting CombiChrist, Metallica, or even Lady Gaga at 1am. [No Lady Gaga after midnight?!? *whimpers*]
THE ITEM
However, on a recent stroll in the local hood, I found a packaged cheap, inexpensive RadioShack brand lightweight stereo headphone set that would fill the bill here for only $ 10. SCORE!
THE LOWDOWN
Thank you for my generic, inexpensive, soundproof stereo headphones (and clearance priced CD-​Rs on the other trip, btw)! For basic electronics when you don’t have the time to wait for slighter cheaper eBay shipments, this is STILL the place…
