Wish I can give 0 stars. Horrible customer service. I was planning to spend a lot more there than their cover charge. I also brought a group with me(which were also willing to spend more) but was rejected because of my «shoes» & was told rudely to leave the premises. If you’re looking for a good time in Sacramento, take your money elsewhere!

The worst unprofessional club I have been, I was witness how the«manager» was kicking out the Dj soo unfear. Later that night with no dj, they stared playing mixes from YouTube. The manager is a pervert he only let’s girls in that looks pretty and discriminated the others. Drinks are expensive and discussing.

LOVE this place!!! The music is always different, if there’s something you prefer you can request it. The owner is an absolute gem. Very kind hearted honest fellow. Their staff is professional and patient(I would know, I was indecisive at the bar for some time) they’re very knowledgable. They have certain nights where they have bands come they play reggae for all the Latino crowd that wants to avoid the crazy parking and downtown drama. Check it out, best bang for your buck. The design and flow is very nice! The ambience is very relaxing and upscale.

I came by after work hoping to check out the menu. There was conflicting information online about business hours. Originally on Unilocal it appeared that Plush is open all day, and the«Contact us» page on their website supports this. I see now that the hours have changed. I understand when new business owners need to be flexible with their hours, but there were no hours posted on the door, so I didn’t feel confident knowing when to come back. Long story short… I was anticipating a new restaurant that was open and it wasn’t. I guess it’s just an 18+ night club now? Too bad, the food looked good and I’m not a night owl… so I guess I will never get to appreciate it.

Wow so after promoting a show that was supposed to be at 11:00 in the evening. To cancel it 20 minutes before it was supposed to go on. 30 people outside waiting then only to be told get out. Such a shame. It’s already a poor location. Oh well everybody went into midtown. Not coming back here. And won’t recommend it to anyone.

An old saying: If you want to gamble, don’t bet more than you can afford to lose. Another one is: If you want to open a restaurant… Don’t. I wish the owners of Plush great success, it’s a very tough business… .however … We had a less than pleasant impression after visiting. this place. The décor is 1980’s disco. It’s located in the back corner of a Fulton Ave. strip mall. Not that that’s a deal breaker. But $ 10.00 for a cocktail? $ 7.00 for a macaroni & cheese appetizer? $ 8.00 for«mediterranean» French fries? We didn’t stay for the DJ, so maybe we missed the best of Plush. And maybe Plush is still in the process of doing some fine tuning. Read between the lines of the other reviews, as well as Plush’s connection to ‘Cepes(sic) and Burgers’.

3 stars Decided to check this place out on Valentine’s Day since the food looked good and they had a bar(it was all star weekend and I didn’t want to miss the dunk contest). Showed up and it looked like they were still prepping for the night, which was fine. Drink orders took a while, which again was fine. But this«slow» service continued all night as it seemed they were concentrating on getting everything ready for the night’s lounge/club. The wings need more flavor but my chicken panini was delicious and my gf loved here veggie pesto pasta. Not once did anyone ask if we needed anything or even how our food was. I’ll let them figure out what their doing before I go back.

Crawfish appetizer was really good and so was the salad. They only had a couple beers on tap but in my opinion had a perfect mix to give every beer drinker at least knew good choice, we went with a Monkey Knife Fight. Liked the place inside too. Can’t wait to come back when the weather is sunny and sit outside. The place was empty so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I hope this place makes it. We enjoyed it.

First time I heard of this place was when they carpet bombed my apartment complex with flyers — putting them on windshields and leaving litter. Strike one. Apparently this angered some of my neighbors so there is now talk of boycotting this place. Strike two. Maybe it’s not a good idea to pi$$ off people you want to get money from. Lol. Anywho, was dragged here by friends to check it out. Not impressed. Adequate. This place seems unsure of what it’s trying to be. Golden Corral? Denny’s? No plans to return.

I was hoping to fall in love with Plush. It’s a newly remodeled takeover of an old hookah lounge, next to Arigato on Howe and Arden. I was under the impression that it’s a lounge, but when you walk in, it looks more like an upscale breakfast joint-turns-club at night! In the main dining area are tables with wooden chairs reminiscent of country living, but along the walls are very spacious, modern-ish booths, and a small chic bar, decorated with mini crystal chandaliers towards the back. There’s a dj booth and high ceiling fixed with club lights, yet the background music playing during dinner was barely audible, and sometimes there was no music at all. Seemed a little awkward for a «lounge.» We were told that on Fridays and Saturdays after 10pm it becomes a club(w/a dress code)/hookah lounge for those 18 and older. Not really my cup of tea, but at least it’s an option for those interested. We ordered all appetizers, ranging in price from $ 7(mac & cheese) to $ 11(frito misto). I was really disappointed that the portions were so small. Really small. I’m thinking they should rename them«small plates» and charge less because it was really not a portion worth sharing. The sliders were good but only came with 2 and some not-so-crispy fries. The frito misto(fried shrimp and calamari) was great but way overpriced for the portion. I also liked the crawfish cocktail, but again, it was expensive for the amount you get. The mac & cheese was more of an entrée-sized portion and only $ 7, but the flavor was a little bland. Nice and cheesy, just not anything mind-blowing. We also ordered the buffalo wings but they never made it to our table. Our server did an ok job, doubling as the bartender, but towards the end of our meal when the bar got busy, we were neglected for awhile. There was also a mistake on how our check was handled, so we had to go up to the bar to take care of it. Not sure if I’d go back anytime soon, although the lunch and dinner entrees do look more appealing as far as portion to price ratio. I’m curious as to what’s offered for happy hour. Half off apps might be worth a re-visit. Or not.

Came here tonight for date night with the bf. Came here around 4:30, and the place was empty. It remained empty for the entire time we were there(around an hour, hour and a half-ish). The waitress was very nice, made sure we were taken care of without being overbearing. We really appreciated that, as it is an easy mistake to make when a restaurant is slow. The restaurant itself has a trendy vibe; it looks as if it could be converted into a night club at night. Décor was a mix of wood and marble. Lots of spacious booths, so it would be great to bring a group of friends here. Chairs looked really comfy too, and there were a variety of high tables and regular-level tables. We came during happy hour(½ off appetizers, well drinks, and draft beers). Boyfriend and I ordered two appetizers, two drinks, and two main dishes altogether. YMMV in terms of serving size of dishes. For example: the mac n’ cheese was a hearty serving, probably enough to leave someone comfortably full. The mac n’ cheese itself was pretty average tasting. The fritto misto was tasty, but disappointingly small. A cocktail runs $ 10.50, but seem to be strong and full of alcohol(we got a blood orange margarita). The risotto was really tasty and creamy(chicken was moist and tender) and it was a healthy portion size. Lastly, the panini was kind of on the small size from what I could see, but the flavors really combined well together. Overall, the bill came to $ 50, but we left stuffed and with leftovers. Seems like a nice place to come and grab a bite. If you’re big on appetizers, I would recommend happy hour over any other time, otherwise they’re kind of pricey. Great happy hour prices, though I’m not sure on the variety of their drinks. I hope they do get more popular; I think they deserve a chance to show the area what they can bring us.

We decided to check out Plush last Friday with another couple. We had already reviewed the menu online and were very excited by the options. We arrived to the Restaurant/Lounge, there was a sign(like from a diner) which read: seat yourself. I walked around to see a number of places to sit; large booths against the outer walls and some odd looking smaller tables in the middle. Though the booths looked like they were for larger parties than 4, we decided to sit there instead of the wood tables in the middle(side note: they looked completely out of place and not very classy like the rest of the restaurant). After some time we were greeted by a server with menus and requesting our drink orders. She placed our drink orders but then the bartender delivered them, and advised she would taking care of us for the evening. This was kind of odd because there were other servers walking around, and I thought shouldn’t she just be taking care of the drink orders? We decided we wanted to order a number of appetizers to share instead of entrees. We decided on: 2 orders of Kobe Beef sliders and fries $ 8.59, Fritto Misto $ 10.99, Plush Macaroni and Cheese $ 6.99, Buffalo Wings $ 8.99 and lastly the Crawfish Cocktail $ 9.99. Lots of food right??? Um hell no! The portions were pitiful! When the food arrived we all commented on the size verses the prices, keep in mind this was not Happy Hour and the regular prices were in effect. We also noted we never received the Buffalo Wings. We were pretty disappointed and still hungry. When another server dropped off the macaroni and cheese, he stated you are going to love this. .. and that was not the case. It was very simple and had a slight tang to it. Do not get me wrong some items were tasty such as the Sliders and the Crawfish but I honestly cannot get over the price and the empty feeling in stomach. Our bartender was working very hard and checked on us often but when the bill came there were a number of errors to our bill and she ended up running my bank card twice. It’s been 4 days, and the higher amount which was voided still shows pending. My experience did not meet our expectations nor did it compare to the 5 stars reflected in Unilocal at this time. It is a new venue and I wish them luck but at this time I will probably not return. I went home and heated up a bowl of Ramen. .. Cheers!

I’ve eaten here several times, and each time leaves me wanting to come back for more! The staff is extremely friendly; the environment is very warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself is very clean, with a very modern yet warm décor. As a vegetarian I am very cautious as to what I eat, and I am happy to report that the food here is fantastically fresh, well prepared, and just darn tasty!!! You have to try this place out!

Plush indeed. In the continuing trend of awesome chefs trying hard, we have another fantastic new spot. It’s kind of hidden, tucked away in the far corner of a bombed-out forgotten strip-mall on Howe, but look — FINDIT. It’s worth it. The décor is very modern-cool, similar to a couple of other new chic places in town. Lots of wood and contrasting concrete, mixed with lounge-esque touches of lighting and the way that, instead of booths, there are like lounging couches that form semi-circles around low tables. Not for eating proper diner or bringing the kids, but for chilling out, having some drinks, eating the amazing appetizers, etc. But if you are there to eat? They have proper tables in the middle, and the food is amazing. Really blew me away. Seeing this more and more in the region — there’s a new crop of chefs who are really bringing the flavor, and this place has one. My friend and I tried the Mac and Cheese appetizer — sounds like an odd comfort food thing, but it was served pretty high-end. Fusilli noodles with real cheese and seasoning. Man. That right there? That would have been enough. I could have eaten that alone and given this place 5 Stars. But that was just the beginning! There were a ton of other delicious-looking appetizers on the menu, and I look forward to my next dozen or so visits to try them. Next came the main course — the menu wasn’t too complicated, but it was a complicated situation in that EVERYSINGLETHING on it looked incredible. I don’t know when I’ve been so stumped on what to order. We decided to go chicken/beef to try the best of those worlds. My friend got a grilled chicken sandwich and I got a blue-burger. The chicken was moist yet firm and perfect, but let’s stop everything and rethink what can be done with hamburger. This thing came out — this hamburger — this ground up cow —(kobe, but still) — with bacon, blue cheese crumbles, red onions, tomato, some sauces, fresh baked pillow soft yet slightly crisp bun, etc, seemed pretty standard, but then you hold it in your hand and you get a tremble, you realize that everything in life you’ve known up until this moment was hideously wrong. You need to rethink your whole life. You hold the thing to your face and breathe deeply, taking in rich flavors that evoke happy memories of lives you have lived and those you wish to. Then you bite the thing. Look. I’m just a humble guy. I don’t know that I have words to describe this level of culinary beauty. Sounds, colors, textures; everything is different after eating this thing. I’m not sure what planet the cow came from that produced this meat, but it can’t be earth. Every bite was a new reminder that life is good. The meat was tenderly flavored and dripping with perfection. The thick cut bacon tasted like your happiest memory. The bun was all your dreams of fields of gently swaying wheat-stock conducting a symphony of perfection. In other words, it was insanely good. It came with fries, which were, by comparison, average, but came to life when ketchup was added. The food was insane. Like, barking and howling at the moon bat-guano crazy. In the best possible way. And the service was spot-on. Super friendly folk who made sure we were totally taken care of. Prices were pretty decent, too. As noted above, this place is hidden away in a kind of grim strip-mall that doesn’t see a lot of action anyway. Don’t let it fall off your radar — seek it out. Find it. Beacuse it’s worth it. Let’s hope it inspires more interesting businesses in the same area.

This is a really nice change from the layalinas lounge this used to be. Definitely more classy, in my opinion. We were here for lunch and the food was delicious.(I ordered the sliders and they were spot on) The waitress, Heather, was really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back and bring more people to check out the place night time
