Pho Tau Bay

Wow! The phở ga hits the spot! It’s so warm and savory. Plus the chicken that they used for their broth/​meat definitely is a fresh killed perhaps? That’s when you can taste the quality of their phở… That’s what you call the real deal.
Service is alright and it is cash only.

Good food but the worst service u can get. First off you can’t communicate with these guys and secondly they won’t bring what u ask for unless repeated.

One of my favorite places in Sacramento for Phở. They can be super slow during rush hour times and you might have to ask for something a few times. Luckily, I am a girl and also have the advantage of asking for things in Vietnamese so they remember me! ;)
I usually just get the dac biet w/​meatballs on the side. Their broth is so addicting. I come here quite often.

BOO!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! ran out of most everything! Broth tasted like instant noodles. yuck! I can make better instant noodle broth than this! And to top it off. NO AC on a 100+ degree weather day! Omg. smh.

The food is ok, but I would not come back. For a phở ga place, i was hoping there was one with gizzards and eggs but no such thing.

phở. and only phở. actually, its mainly phở ga (chicken) but its damn good. no frills here.

It’s ok, like I wrote before my phở tastes better. But this place is fast and the same ownership as Phở Anh Dao. Cash only!

I drove by this morning and saw a lot of cars in the lot…
The menu only has two pages, and phở is the only entrée served here…
I was the only non-​Asian there, but I felt at home hovering over that steaming bowl of goodness…

I still think this place has the best Phở in Sacramento. I recently visited Phở King II next door and was quite unimpressed after hearing such rave reviews from friends.
Good quantity and quality for price; can’t argue with that!

Been here a few times, wait time is insane 30 minutes just to get a table and another 15 to 20 minutes for the waiter to come get take your order another 10 to 15 for him to bring you the drinks you ask for (if he even remembers) and another 30 to 45 minutes just to bring your food out.

I took a buddy of mine there once and they lost our order, so they left us sitting there for 45 minutes and didn’t do anything until we asked where the hell our food was. It should of been obvious something was wrong when 4 hungry ass guys are just sitting there drinking water with no food in front of them. Boy was my friend upset he swore he would never ever come back again.

Don’t get me wrong i’m still a customer the phở is good i’ll admit that, but this place completes the sterotype of bad service in asian restaurants, I think this place wrote the book on bad service.

They close early i’m not sure about the time but around 2 – 4 pm. I still frequent this place once in a long while (can’t say the same for my buddy), the service and wait time is just not worth it. Saigon down the street would be a better place to go to for your sudden phở urges.
Not enough parking, expect to do a little walking.
2 stars for the good phở… but the wait time and service just killed it.
