Not good. My husbands mom recommend this place for the hominy free menudo. But she hasn’t lived in Cali for the last 8 years. The lights were off. The place was empty and muggy. The food was not good. The menudo was thick and kinda slimy and sticky all at once. So they probably didn’t clean the tripe. My food wasn’t great. My son has a quesadilla and took it home. When we opened the box the tortilla had mold on it. I will never go back. They need to be inspected by the health department. And turn on your lights and AC people.

Worse place I’ve been to for mexican food. I was able to see the food was ready but the server was on the phone by the time they were off the phone the food got cold and had to ask for new food. Also I went on a weekend when they were getting ready for karaōke but the place is way too small for all that noise. So between the microphone checks which were so unpleasant and cold food and bad service u can also Hear all the employees talk in the kitchen. They probably thought I didn’t speak Spanish bc I don’t look mexican but I am well and I do speak and understand everything they were saying. They were speaking bad about some one calling them a dog faced bword in Spanish which I thought was rude like do that in your own time not at work. Extremely unprofessional! There was a a girl at the cashier she was a big girl who just rude and here I thought big ppl where jolly smh never will return also as I walked back to my car I noticed a lot of large roaches in the parking lot!!! I was terrified!!!

The food was ok, nothing to write home about. I had a Campechana, it only had one oyster, they ran out of avocado and I had to ask for some. Probably wont come back, they also brought the check without even asking if I needed anything else. Not happy with this place!

Stopped by late on a Thursday morning to check out the food. Was greeted by a lady who was obviously the owner and noticed right away that there were two older Mexican guys having lunch at one of the tables(always a good sign of authenticity). When I opened the menu I zeroed in on the«real handmade tortillas» note and went from there. I ordered the Huevos con Chorizo breakfast for $ 6,95 and my wife had the lunch special chicken quesadilla, also for $ 6.95. She had Coke and I had a coffee. We had chips and salsa shortly, both of which were obviously homemade and delicious! The salsa was spicy but also sweet; something that you almost never find in a Mexican restaurant. We both agreed that this free appetizer was excellent. When our plates arrived, the portions were huge and proved more than either of us could eat. The beans were genuine refried pintos with substance and covered with white cheese(there is no such thing as yellow cheese in Mexico). My eggs and chorizo were excellent and the handmade tortillas were the bomb! We both enjoyed the rice which was light, fluffy, and also slightly on the sweet side. My wife’s quesadilla was huge and full of chicken and cheese. All in all, it was a good meal and very much like eating at a relative’s house. I will be back to sample the seafood and entrée dishes.

Finally got tired of Subway for lunch, called them for pickup. They were on the ball. Food was ready in :10 minutes. Plenty of salsa for my burrito when I got back to the ranch. Food coma… engage.

We actually stumbled upon this place by accident, looking for another restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and the waiter told us about each of the amazing homemade salsas he brought out. The food was pretty average for the area, but the salsas and the service were definitely worth the trip.
