Nasty food. When did Mexican seafood become fast food? Ordered a Caldo 7 mares and it came to me pretty quickly. I think it was microwaved! And they serve food in foam plates! Really?! No waiters to bring your food or take it. I think this should be the Mexican Mcdonalds!

I love love this place. I like it better then other seafood restaurants in the area. Reading the other reviews is very disappointing since it is a seafood restaurant and all the reviews are about their tacos. Over all my favorite place to eat tostadas de ceviche and coctel de camaron. Delicious. Wish they would take debit but other then that. Great prices and great food!

asada tacos ok but marinated pork much better. Not much salt and not traditional Taqueria salsa on tacos. Cash only. Didn’t. Tacos 1.25. Customer service sucked.

We stopped at Mariscos Mazatlan driving down Franklin looking for some quick cheap Mexican food. Franklin is usually a very good bet — there’s three or four great places near Fruitridge, so it’s easy to assume they are all great. My friend’s $ 7 tostada was inedible. Our third person later joked that it looked like an octopus abortion. Meanwhile the jokester poured half a bottle of hot sauce on his nasty«beef» burrito to choke it down. The meat was day old at best, and had plenty of gristle and fat. I know, because my torta had the same meat, and when I gave some to the starving tostada recipient that nearly put her off of cheap Mexican for good. It was a holiday and I’d like to think Mariscos was just having a bad day. They got the drink order wrong, they charged the bill incorrectly, the food was not good, and the bill was high for a $ place. One star.

This is a great little place to go when you get the cravin’s for a Mexican style seafood cocktail or tostada when you’re cruising«the boulevard». Their prices are the cheapest in town – partly due to the low overhead and the fact that they serve everything in styrofoam cups. I’d give them another star if the place was a little cleaner – definitely not the place to take mom. Their octopus(pulpo) is very tasty and their shrimp are good, too. They lean a little too heavily on fake crab meat when you order anything«mixto», but then again consider the price. The«dining room» features plastic chairs and folding tables. If you’re just in the mood for a shrimp tostada, I’d still go a few block south to La Favorita, but this place is a little more authentico.
