I just waited 20 minutes for a cappuccino! I reminded them multiple times that I was still waiting for my drink and no one bothered to make it. No apologies or refund. 20 minutes and it was not busy.

Tried to give them another chance. I’m sitting in the drive thru right now and have been for a ridiculous amount of time. Don’t have a drive thru if it takes more than 15min to serve people. Now I’m late to get back to work and can’t even leave the drive thru because there is 1 car in front and 1 behind me. I guess don’t come here unless it’s your day off.

Went through the drive thru and ordered baguette and dill, and a raspberry Italian soda. My Italian soda looked just like cream and milk, and I said ‘This is a raspberry Italian soda?’ And she said yep. And when I pulled away the dill sauce was open and poured all over the bread. Worst la bou ever.

I stop at this location frequently for work and the taste of the food is very good. When I’m in the mood for a baguette and dill sauce don’t try and stop me! BLT, Chinese chicken salad and the Thai soup are my go to and are always tasty. The customer service is lacking– they are cordial but it does not go much further than that. The prices for the amount of food you get is not very good. A half sandwich and salad combo is $ 10 and the sandwich is pretty small. I will say their breakfast croissants and coffee are delectable.

Not impressed with customer service, wait time, or the food. I got a ham and cheese croissant and a latte. The latte was average, but the croissant was chewy and the ham tasted like hillshire farms lunch meat. I will not go back again. Which is unfortunate because I was really excited to try this place out and see if I would make it a regular place to stop.

$ 10 for three tiny slices of turkey on half a bun with one piece of lettuce — then they charged me for a side of ranch because there was so much bread it was so dry! Plus restaurant is run down looking what happened to the old school La Bou that was high end? Yuck!

Not very good. I’ve been here a few times and I’m continuously disappointed. They’re always out of what I want, or they don’t even carry it. The refused to sell me an individual sourdough roll. The women I’ve had contact with have been exceptionally rude and unhappy. Don’t bother going here. The one in folsom is so much better.

This location is very convenient because they have a drive through. Staff has always been very friendly and the food has always been great. It’s so nice La Bou opens early because they are a way better choice the fast food!

Disappointing that they do not sell loose tea or coffee at this La Bou. Funny how they started as a café selling coffee and tea now they don’t. House salad is a good as ever but my main reason for stopping in was to but their tea. I geese I will try another location as they all seem to follow different policies and procedures…

I love la bou… but this particular location is just bland. probably because there are asian cooks idk… sorry and sometimes their baguette is old and stale i recommend a different location. For me ill be going to the one on fair oaks with a more la bou feel

I gave it the 1 star because it wasn’t an option to give it zero. I’m sitting in the drive through writing this. I have now been here 18 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me. I can’t leave because there are cars behind me. I was warned not to come to this 1 but didn’t listen. Don’t make my same mistake! Avoid this location at all costs. If you’re that hungry, grab roadkill and heat it up on your engine. It’ll save you time and probably not be as stale as their croissants. And when I FINALLY got my food she was shocked that I wanted my change. I waited 20 minutes for this crap, give me my penny!

I guess I am not the only one that has got really horrible service at this location. I have been to 2 other la boy locations in the area and their service is way better to this place. I love their food but this location is way below average for everything– appearance, quality, quantity, price and service. I emailed co operate la bou few months back and still haven’t heard back. Guess they either don’t care or have too many locations then they can handle.1 star cause can’t go 0

Super slow and very unorganized. You can really get the feeling that the place is going down hill.

Always very slow services even when just getting my order of an iced Thai tea or a piece of sliced baguette. The food is decent, nothing bad about that, but it’s always the customer service. Not the best place to grab lunch.

Cranberry turkey sandwich was excellent! Service was fast and friendly. Small inside seating area but drive thru option at this location. Vanilla iced mocha was good. Not to strong or overpowering

Club sandwich was 2 slices of bread with meat mayo and lettuce. Not even tomato and it was 7.85? Size was equivelant to a 6″ at subway. PATHETIC! club means triple decker and cheese is included. This thing looked like something id find in my lunchbox in 2nd grade. The ceasar salad was good so i bumped em up a star for that. Not only was the food uninspiring but the location looks like a Burger King and the clientelle hanging out in the parking lot was questionable. Skip this place.

Yikes! $ 11 for soup and salad, the sandwich had like two slices of meat. Two slices of meat, lettuce, and mayo… that’s it! $ 11 Soup was super watery… it was clam chowder! I won’t be back to waste my money again. Food wasn’t horrible but there wasn’t much there!

I’d say 2.5 stars, giving them a mercy star because staff seems to be trying. If this is a franchise, corporate needs to take it back. The décor, set up and menu look nothing like other locations. The menu lettering is in dark colors(blue and green) on a black background making it near impossible to read. The cold case doesn’t work properly and always has condensation so that you can’t actually see anything in it. The ladies run around rather frantically trying to fill orders but as someone else mentioned they all seem frazzled. I will stick to the El Dorado Hills location.

Extremely disappointing. Went through the drive through at 8:15 am on a Monday and… they were out of the first four things I wanted. AND they were listed on the menu! Not a great start. On top of it, the drive through itself is pretty overgrown with vines and the menu board has a huge piece of plexiglass missing and what’s left is all messed up. Not an auspicious way to make an impression. At the drive through window, the gal was friendly, but behind her I got a look at the kitchen area and what a mess! Stuff everywhere and not picked up or clean looking at all. I ended up with two pumpkin muffins, that were tasty, but honestly, I threw them away. Why? Just because I couldn’t get past the whole experience. :(
