This store is usually empty whenever I pass by on my way to Sephora(which is right next door). They have more employees standing around than customers. I don’t know why because they do have good products, which aren’t sold in Sephora. The one time I did go in, my friend and I had a mediocre experience. Like I said, they have more employees than customers, but we didn’t receive good customer service. They weren’t helpful in helping my friend choose the product she inquired about. My friend asked if they have a skin serum that would work for anti-aging, hydrate, and help with sun spots. Instead, they told her to buy 5 products… uh no. The employee that was helping us asked another employee with my friend’s need, the other employee recommended 3 additional products. Regardless, my friend semi-knew what she wanted to get and got 2 products since they had their 20% off sale. They only offered one free sample. For the total she paid, she could’ve gotten 3 easily online. They have cookies and juice on the counter, which they didn’t even offer to the only paying customer at that time, whom was my friend. This review might sound harsh, but just wanted to throw it out there. Sad, because they do have raving products that I want to try out.

Store was totally empty on Saturday afternoon when the rest of Arden mall was really busy. Three employees were inside, and not friendly when I entered. Did not make me want to browse in their store.

I’ve been a long-time Facial Fuel face wash user and swear by the stuff. I was really glad to see this new Kiehl’s open up at the mall. The really helpful and knowledgeable staff members spoke with me for a while about my daily shaving/face cleaning routine and offered some additional products that I could add to my medicine cabinet. Their shaving cream is also really good for sensitive skin like mine. Some qualms I still have with Kiehl’s: — Higher prices — typically $ 18 – 30 for a bottle of anything. But some their products last me about a year long, so I figure it’s worth it. — Also, I normally get up to 3 samples when I make a purchase; the employee was stingy and only gave me 1. — Kiehl’s also continues to test on animals, just for your consideration.

Thank God for Kiehl’s! The new shop is a fun mix of coolness, apothecary and chemistry… great to stop in and just check out. The staff is friendly and pleasant to shop with especially Bill – sooo knowledgeable about Kiehl’s products and a miracle worker in skin care! He recommended products that actually work well with my skin and have given results I’ve been looking for forever. Finally, Sacramento gets to join the club!

I have been waiting for this to open since I found out they were coming to Sac since I am a big Kiehl’s fan and have been getting their products from Nordstrom or Saks instead. Went here the first time today and it was an overall nice experience. There were two people working, the first one was occupied with a customer so she ignored me and did not even bother with a hello, but Kristen(I believe) was extremely welcoming and helpful as soon as she realized I was in the store. She knew the products very well and was able to answer any questions I had, which was great. I will definitely be coming back here regardless of the first few iffy moments in the store.
