I have been with Kaiser for the last 26 years, but as companies cheapafy to make even more money and as a result hurt the economy I had to change medical coverage this year to save cost. I was nervous as a PPO was something new to me. Well, it was trial by fire as shortly after the beginning of the year both my son and I had caught a terrible flu and we just couldn’t let it go so off to use the new medical coverage! To make a long story short, after visits with different medical providers we settled on Mercy Natomas, right near our home. We were looking for a pediatrician for my son, but could not get an appointment for a month so we went with Dr. Roberts. Dr. Roberts area is family practice so both my son and I chose her after our appointments as she is fantastic! I have to say, Dr. Roberts explained everything to my son, wife and I and was very kind and caring. My son was doing better for a couple of days and then had a relapse due to complications resulting from the flu. My wife made another appointment at around 8 in the morning, only thing open was at 2 in the afternoon so we took it. 15 minutes later, Dr. Roberts office calls and said to bring my son in right away as she saw he had made another appointment. Wow, talk about care, Dr. Roberts had been aware of my sons condition from an earlier appointment, saw we had another appointment and moved it up to immediate. Dr. Roberts went through a battery of tests to rule out anything else my son could have and let us know to contact her immediately should his condition not improve. Talk about caring and compassion! I have to say by the company I work for being cheap, it resulted in better medical coverage for my family and I as Dr. Roberts is an excellent physician and a great family doctor. I also have to say the staff in the Mercy Natomas office are great.

My first visit with Dr. Roberts, a resident at Sutter, was just for wellness and my annual«womanly» check… Worst.(and most painful) experience. ever. I will leave it at that.
