The lady in the morning is so rude her kids the young girl and boys seem to be more nicer

Was in the area and saw the good reviews on Unilocal so I checked it out. It was great got the last chocolate filled chocolate doughnut :) it was delicious! Everything was very well priced, I got a glaze for my friend which he said was very good too and the guy that helped me even threw in a free doughnut and was very nice, plus the doughnuts were super! Great first time, definitely won’t be the last.

This was my second time here. My boyfriend grew up in Natomas and his entire family swears this is the best donut shop on earth. I definitely think its delicious but am more biased to the one I grew up next to(Hillsdale Donuts in North Highlands). With that said, the donuts are always fresh and delicious! The staff is so friendly and they always seem to throw in a free donut for us, maybe because we tend to buy a lot :)

I really like Jacks donuts! The only downside is that the selection is completely wiped out by noon & I don’t know why they don’t have enough supply… or simply bake more! To last during the hours being open.

Definitely not the best I’ve had. Taste doughy/flowery. I only took my daughter here while I was waiting for Ramona’s restaurant across the street to open Bc she was starving. In my opinion, they are also more expensive than all other area doughnut shops. When I was shocked at the price when rang up, I got told ‘well, what you want me to do it costs money to make them. Flour right now is very expensive, sorry.’ judging by the way they taste, maybe they’re either using the wrong kind of flour, or a flour that is too thick/heavy. I wouldn’t come back.

They have a chocolate donut that’s filled with chocolate chips that melt while frying(like a chocolate croissant). Enough said.

Customer Service is terrible! They do not accept cc’s and they make you use«another» company’s ATM machine which they own, so they make another $ 1.50 to get cash out. Then when packaging my donuts that I ended up over paying for they forced the lid down and taped it and cut one donut in half basically and crushed another. I won’t be back, the grocery store does a crappy enough job for me compared to over paying here.

Excellent donuts. Wish I had know about this place a long time ago. The donuts are everything I was looking for. The crumb donut is delicious. The shop itself could use a paint touch up, but that’s not relevant to the donuts, yum!

I was having Homer Simpson Moment and HAD to get donuts. I’m really good at listening to my body and it was craving donuts like a crack head was craving crack. I used my Unilocal app to try and navigate me to the closest donut shop; which was Fancy Donuts. My heart sank when I got there and realized they were closed. So I went to the next place suggested on my app. Jack’s DO-nut was OPEN! Thank God… especially since I was contemplating driving to Roseville for Krispy Kreme or Arden for a 24hr place. At least this was closer to home. I ordered 2 chocolate round donuts, 1 round maple, and a maple twist. Then the lady gave me a free maple donut. I love free donuts! Ate the maple twist on the ride home, and then finished the other three donuts by the fireplace with a book and a beer. I saved one for the bf ONLY because I was full. Craving sufficed! Yeah!

My last review for this place was 4 stars, however, after going here a few more times, the donuts have tasted more and more stale. The buttermilk donuts are extremely flaky, dry, and extremely low quality. The last donut I bought here was inedible because it tasted so stale, it is unfortunate they have to sell poor quality donuts because I live fairly close, but I am not going here again.

This place was alright. The doughnut wasn’t amazing, I’ve had better. It seemed like the batter was a little thick for my taste so the doughnut was not as fluffy as I had hoped.

Funny Funny and fluffy. The name of this establishment cracks me up because I wonder if it is a typo or … After a brisk bike ride(that’s right, I’m more of the leisure type rolling around on #4) we got there, overheating on my end. The store hit me like a sauna and I literally had to regain my breath and dignity as I was already sweating like a pig. I ordered a custard chocolate glazed bar and a strawberry glazed sprinkle cake donut. I took these outside as it was way too hot inside and after the initial cool down, the strawberry glazed was pretty good. Not too greasy, yet crunchy on the edges. This was something different, I appreciate this. The only problem is that it is located on a stretch of road that I would deem dangerous since the drivers there are too fast and not keen on insuring the life of a cyclist. Otherwise, the perfect stop on your way into this part of town or back into Midtown/Downtown.
