Howe Ave Dry Cleaners

Been here twice. Closed both times. Didn’t read Unilocal reviews until second time; unusual for me, but was in a hurry. This place must be a tax scam or business for laundering cash, because they sure don’t do clothes!
Plant in window is dying. Don’t bother. Too bad– it’s right near my work.

They cloesed without any letters, fine. So i came back again and again, they closed again. Wt… i called them few times but phone was not even working. i just went there today (friday at 1:35pm) yes! Door locked agian. Ask for free wash?(on the banner) just give my f***ing clothes.

The open sign is always on but no one is ever there during business hours. I have tired to go on multiple occasions but failed. Had to go to a different cleaners much further away.

My experience with this establishment was decidedly negative and I won’t be coming back.
I dropped off my clothes on a Wednesday and was told that they would be ready by Monday or Tuesday (the person at the counter didn’t know when someone would be there… Big Red Flag that I ignored…)
The following Tuesday, I went to retrieve my clothes during their posted Business Hours, but the place was closed and locked.
I returned the next day, the lights were on, the OPEN sign was lit, but the door was locked and no one was there. I tried to call the business, but their phone wasn’t operating. I left a note for them to call me and tried the business again later that day. Same situation.
I didn’t get any service until I basically went to the landlord and asked about the business. THEN I got a call telling me that my clothes were ready to be picked up (which I already knew because I saw them the day before in the window).
…
But there’s more!
Their ATM wasn’t functioning, so they asked me to bring cash. When I got there, they didn’t have any change and the (different) person at the counter asked me to GO GET CHANGE FROM ANOTHER BUSINESS.
I suggested that I should just get a discount for my trouble, but she didn’t allow it. I left and returned with change, paid and left.
The clothes were cleaned and pressed satisfactorily, but the price was the highest I’d ever experienced for dry cleaning and the service was lousy.
Go ANYWHERE ELSE but here for your dry cleaning needs.
