El Patrón Burritos & Tacos Shop

I ordered the super burrito combo and I would say it might be the best burrito I’ve had here in Sacramento. If you’re looking for an authentic place, el patron is where you want to go.

Delicious food, tasty salsas and worth checking out. It is a hole in the wall kind of place. The business used to be off Folsom blvd in a pretty luxurious spot. Look past that here and know the food is still the same and delicious!

Not a lot of people know about this place according to Unilocal and that is unfortunate. This place is authentic and family-​owned; think food truck tacos, but without the long line and with a lot of comfort because it is indoors and has plenty of seat. The variety of options is impressive but I mainly come for the tacos. Vegetarian tacos are also available! My favorite one yet is the fish taco ($ 10.05 for 3 during lunch) which has a cajun-​like seasoning that is super flavorful! I asked out of curiosity and the owner told me all of his tacos are made with a specific special sauce (that complement the meat choice) from Mexico. Whatever it is, it is sure special! Also, side chips are hot and fresh and they make their own salsa.
I have to thank this place for feeding in between class and after class. People are super nice here and I’m never disappointed about the food. Next time you consider stopping by Leatherby’s, don’t bother with their half-​assed food. Come here instead for a good quality meal!

I’m shocked this place has no reviews. I haven’t eaten there in years but I’ve kept going just for the horchata. Its hands down the best horchata I’ve ever had. Ever. They make it from scratch which is impossible to. Find even at the most legit of Mexican joints.
