Country Club Cleaners

We went through two other dry cleaners in the area before trying this one out. First thing we found is the owner is very nice and friendly. I live in the neighborhood and run most of my errands nearby, so the convenience is nice as well. Turn around time is always good, and if I need it sooner all I have to do is ask. We take my hubby’s race suit there and they always do a good job with cleaning it – it gets VERY dirty! I took my wedding dress in and it was stained with spray tan on the top. It had sat for a year so I was afraid it wouldn’t come out and they did a really good job of getting the stain up, and sent me home with stain remover to try and work a little more out. Since they couldn’t get it out 100%, they hardly charged me anything. They were unable to clean the entire dress because it was too big for their machine, but I was more concerned with the stains on the top than the underneath anyway. I was happy with what they were able to do, I should have taken it in much sooner after all! So… nice people, good service. And no, it’s not cheap, but I don’t expect dry cleaning to be, seems pretty inline with the other places I have been. Never happy that a small woman’s shirt costs so much more to clean than a large man’s, but it has always been that way everywhere I have been! ;)

Country Club cleaners is the best place to bring any of your clothes that needs extra attention. To anyone who reviews this place based on price you have to remember that dry cleaning is not supposed to be cheap… If you want to maintain the quality of your clothes for more than one season, be ready to pay for it. Anything less should stay in the washer.
After a couple of test runs with my formal wear I have to say that Country Club Cleaners has never disappointed me. They are also conveniently located in Davis under Sarah’s Alteration and Eco Cleaners!
I continue to bring my clothes here and I highly recommend!

Freaking miracle workers. Berry stains on my white shirt… they made it look brand new… as they always do :) Worth the extra dough! They also sewed on a button (I am clueless!) at no charge. Thank you!

Way too pricey even if the service is as good as the review (s) indicate. I called them and they quoted me $ 6.25 to dry clean a skirt. No thanks. I’m going to Save On #2 on Fair Oaks. $ 2.75 per garment if paid in cash.

I have been going to Country Club Cleaners for about 15 years (or more!). I have NEVER had any problem. The owners, Sara and Paul, are friendly and warm and their work is excellent! I love family-​run businesses that excel, and this is one of the stand-​outs. Sara has done a number of alterations for us, (including last-​minute emergencies the day before a family wedding). They have yet to meet a stain they can’t remove. We also chose to have them dry clean my daughter in law’s very ornate wedding gown, and it was perfect! All those horror stories you hear about cleaning wedding gowns? Not at Country Club! They are the best!
