Jordan is so awesome, very sweet, social, and laughed at my jokes. His laugh makes me laugh. The food is delicious. Must go!

My second time here… not really a fan. Everything Seems just ok. I was also kind of irritated that our server didn’t tell us the specials when I heard them telling the other tables. I wish I could say something was good but it really was not worth the price

First visit here, came on New Year’s Eve. Nice atmosphere, great food, good service. They offered a limited menu compared to their full menu, but there were plenty of good options available. I would definitely come back to try more of the menu. I had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked(not overdone), and my fiancé had the short ribs and polenta. It was great. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the only downside, as mentioned by my friend: they didn’t have a great set up for a baby seat, and no changing table in the bathroom.

Ate there for lunch with my wife and service was really slow even when not busy. Food tasted really salty and when I mentioned this I was told it was me. Bad service + bad food = never to return.

My neighborhood Italian restaurant is not as good as it was. The quality of the food, which was solid, has declined. Bouillabaisse came so spicy last night that you could barely eat it, toast with it was burned and lasagna was not heated in the inside. I’ve loved this place over the years but not now.

Pizza was served burned. Waitress acknowledged it. No adjustment offered. An order of boulliabase was confused with pasta boulanese. No adjustment offered. This place has gone down hill…

The food is good here but the interior décor could use some updating. I always love their bread and pasta.

I have eaten at this restaurant about 8 or 9 times and have never had a bad dish. My date had a fish dish that just was irretrievable(sent back a couple of times) one night but every single other dish was great. Service has been consistently great, prompt, and professional. The owner is frequently out and about greeting guests and ensuring that all is well. If all of that is not enough, the food is delicious. Some day perhaps I will have room for dessert.

Waaayyyy to expensive for low quality food. The staff was nice but the prices were too much for over oiled and over buttered food. 5 $ for a lousy minestrone soup. I will probably never come back.

Nice neighborhood Resturant. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly but did not interrupt and the ambiance was quite and nice for a casual dinner out. The food was good, everyone at our table had some thing different and enjoyed their meal. The chicken Marsala had a unique flavor and I would not recommend it, but the salmon pasta was excellent. Overall, nice solid place to go.

Perfect little lunch spot located on the corner of watt and fair oaks. It’s never really crowded but service can be a little slow, but I don’t mind. I only come when I have a little extra time. That intersection is terrible but it’s worth crossing for this place. Things Ive tried and I’ve liked: Bread with olive oil and vinegar(complimentary) Minestrone soup Grilled romaine salad(warm) Salmon blt Steak sandwich They also have daily specials which are also very tasty. Decent wine menu as well :)

My boyfriend and I have recently become pescetarians, so we did not try any of the meat dishes, although they sounded(and smelled) great. We started our meal with house bread, and olive oil and balsamic dipping sauce. The bread tasted fresh and the olive oil and balsamic mixture contained just the right amount of spices which made it better than most restaurants’ dipping mixture. We ordered the Tortino Di Riso appetizer, which is three risotto cakes with a mushroom demi, truffle oil, and grana cheese. The risotto cakes were creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside — great texture. The mushroom demi had a rich flavor, like a marsala sauce, which complemented the creaminess of the risotto cakes. I love cheese, so I appreciated the generously thick shavings of the parmesan on top of the cakes. Don’t skip over this appetizer! For dinner, I had kind of a «build your own» pasta: linguini with gorgonzola cream sauce, with a piece of grilled salmon. The waiter didn’t even blink when I asked if I could order something not described on the menu: great service! The dish was great, both the pasta and the salmon. My boyfriend had one of the specials: house-made thick fettuccine-type noodles with a saffron cream sauce, mussels, clams, veggies. I tried his dish and the pasta was great. I thought the sauce tasted a bit too fragrant/perfumey, but my boyfriend really enjoyed it.(To each his own!) Although this restaurant is on the more fancy/pricey side, the food is a good price considering the quantity and quality, we both went home with leftovers. Café Vinoteca has a pretty good selection of wine as well; I had a pinot noir from Napa and my boyfriend had an Orvieto(from Italy of course). Both were reasonably priced and delicious. Overall, we experienced great service and great food. I will definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely anniversary dinner here with my parents. The service was great — our waiter(John I think?), was polite, conscientious(without hovering), and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was great too. My parents had the ravioli and the carbonara — both were delicious. My partner and I both had the gnocchi. A few of the gnocchi were a little undercooked, but other than that, it was perfect. We hope to come back again soon — Café Vinoteca is a great little restaurant :)

Visiting from SoCal. Friends brought us to this lovely, intimate restaurant. My husband and I started out with the green salad lightly dressed with a tasty vinagrette, accompanied by their herbed focaccia with olive oil and balsamic vinager. Yum. I ordered the scallops with risotto. Wow! The scallops were perfectly cooked and were nestled in a bed of risotto with mushrooms and bacon. The risotto was so flavorful, I could have eaten it by itself. In fact, just writing about it makes me wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood. The restaurant has an award winning banana cream pie. I was too full to order dessert so I told my husband that I would have a bite of his. Neither of us ordinarily order banana cream pie, but our friends encouraged us to try it. I wished I had ordered my own piece. And I know my husband wished that as well. I ate half of his pie, it was soooo good. Unless you are violently opposed to bananas or have a lactose issue, order the pie. You won’t regret it. Oh. I forgot to mention the excellent service. Our servers were wonderful.

Excellent dinner of spaghetti/meatballs and lasagna. The best part was the Banana cream pie and Dutch chocolate cake. Fabulous. Our waiter, Jon, was very informative, pleasant and friendly. Definitely coming back!

This spot is difficult to get to because it’s at a very high traffic intersection. I get nervous turning off the main drag to get to the shopping center. Once your inside this little shopping center, it’s darling. You walk down a hallway with three restaurants to choose from: Danielle’s, Chinois, and Café Vinoteca. My fiancé met me here, and it was romantic to steal a kiss in front of the fountain before going inside the small but quaint Italian restaurant. Décor was really great. I love the paintings and color of the walls. It’s not a very big place, so the space between tables was a little tough. But the food more than makes up for the room. Omg, was it good!!! I was so hungry when we came in. I don’t normally do this, but I ate every bite of my plate, and then whatever my fiancé couldn’t finish, I went for it too! I was sooo stuffed by the time I left. Just really great food and drinks!!! It was on the pricier side. So I don’t think we’ll be coming in regularly. But definitely a fun favorite to add to the list on those special date night occasions.

This place was okay. Went here for lunch on a Friday. Fairly good business and the ambience was pleasant. Service was also good. The sandwiches were fair. My friend ordered a steak sandwich medium rare and it was RARE(almost alive). I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was nothing to write home about. Chicken was lacking tenderness but the ingredients were overall pretty good. The steak sandwich was sent back and they were quick to fix their mistake.

Very traditional Italian restaurant. I liked the atmosphere and the service was GREAT… we sat at the bar and the bartender was the nicest guy ever, very attentive. Took away one star because the food is good but not great. Gets the job done but nothing crave worthy to send me running back

Really enjoyed my lunch at Café Vinoteca today! I ordered the chicken panino and my friend had the ravioli! Not only was the food delicious, we really enjoyed the service we got from our waitress Melissa and really looking forward to coming back!

Clean but maybe simple looking Italian food and bar. It’s easy to miss on your school/work commute as it’s in a high end strip mall style shopping center(the one with the Starbucks). There’s plenty of seating so I can’t imagine there’s ever a long wait. I’ve only enjoyed the drinks here and I loved the service and selection of wines. The wait staff often ducks out to smoke and I was sitting near the door on a cold night so the smell and draft were annoying. I will be back to eat because it smelled amazing inside and the diners looked pleased. So more to follow…
