Good, fresh and made to order. Lunch hour rush is crazy and so is seating and wait time.

Food is about as consistent with any other Burger King, maybe a little better. I had a breakfast sausage biscuit Wednesday from this particular establishment of the King of Burgers. It was warm and kept me from starving through History class. The only serious complaint I have, for the life of you Burger King, make your signs larger. Who can see the signs? I sure can’t! Even if you have perfect vision, you can’t even see half the items at the counter. Larger font! And put the menu all on one board or page! I don’t like having to wait for the page to refresh or switch over to the next item while I’m trying to read a size 12 font from 10 feet away. That is all.

Went here during my lunch break one day and found some sort of insect or fly inside of my onion ring. Luckily I only ate one onion ring before noticing something black embedded in another piece. I ripped apart the breading of the onion ring and was immediately disgusted with what I discovered. 2 stars because the manager gave me my money back and my previous experiences have been fine. I wish they would have offered me something else to compensate my discovery but I was too nauseous to ask. Will post a picture.

This is the slowest fast food place in the history of slowest fast food places. They usually only have two people working, one which is making food. The person taking orders usually isn’t really taking orders, rather bagging and handing out orders or waiting for«hot fries.» I’d rather have cold fries from a cashier who actually takes orders. The lines are so long and slow, you’d have to actually see it to believe it. They have an «express» window that is the same sad story as the regular line. I tried it three times. I got served once. The other two times I waited and waited. The person who was supposed to be taking orders was only handing out orders for the front counter. Both times, I left in frustration and ate from the vending machine down the hall. They don’t make it until you’re gone and not hungry any more. Every time I think I’ve found the slowest fast food place, I always find one slower. But this time, I think I really have found the slowest. If I live until I’m 80, I strongly doubt that I’ll find one with longer lines and slower service than this one. Once again, they don’t make it until you’re gone and not hungry any more. Thanks Burger King!

I eat here maybe 3 times a week! I know, it’s sad… but its my only option because its the cheapest and the only thing that gets me full at sac state –__-. I swear, they recognize my face cause it’s always the same people taking my order haha. Anyway, its just like any burger king. but expect long lines around noon…

They should have a McDonald’s on campus rather than burger kings. However, there bk stackers are bomb and cheap and I like there express lane, very convenient

This location is about as exciting as any other Burger King. It gets crazy busy around lunch time some days. And yes, my order has been wrong after they pretty much yell out my number and throw the bag at me. Sometimes when you’re on campus for eight hours; you have to put SOMETHING in your tummy.

Considering that this is a small Burger King at a college, you can’t really expect much in terms of service. On more than one occasion I was stuck waiting around for my order and 3 or 4 people behind me got their’s before I got mine. I don’t order much, but generally its because someone behind the counter messed up my order or they just forgot. 4 out of 5 times my french fries are dumped in the bag upside down so I have to scoop them out when I open it up. The Steakhouse XT burgers come in different varieties(in the past there were three other kinds, smokey cheddar, mushroom, and mashed potatoes, or something like that) but everytime I went to get one they said they were all out. So I tried again with the most recent variation, the jalapino stuffed version, and to no supprise, they didn’t have it. Price wise, they are relativly cheap and its not usually crowded unless you come at lunch time.

I like the express lane here! Nice and fast. I would have to show my «Asian side» and recommend taking the survey on the back of the receipt. You get a free Whopper or Chicken Sandwich with purchase of fries and a drink. This is usually a full high«quality»(meaning higher end food on the menu as opposed to value menu) for under $ 3… a steal when I used to be a starving college student :-P Service can be slow at times, but you can’t really blame them since half of Sac State gets out of class at 11:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays :-)

This place is ok if you want a cheap thing to eat on campus. It’s typically standard of a burgerking. I rather eat here than at Plum Blossom lol, but if you can try to expand your culinary horizons and eat somewhere else. I think that they inflate the prices of the food due to the proximity to school ehh…

When you are running low on cash and are really hungry this is the place to go. The food is just like any other Burger King and so is the service, but it gets the job done. I never really was a fan of Burger King, especially the one on campus … but once in a while I’d come here when needed. It was like a last resort place for me – and it’s good to have one of those places on campus.

I appreciate that they serve Diet Coke here over Diet Pepsi(Sorry, it just tastes better) and it’s really the only place you can get it on campus. It’s your average BK, prices slightly raised because of the location. The lines vary depending on when you come. They have an express line that you can chose from a limited menu. I indulge here every now and then when I’m craving something greasy. The lady who barks out the order numbers is sort of scary and seems genuinely pissy when I ask for ranch(I’m sorry. I’m not a fan of ketchup with my fries) I always make sure to smile and say thank you. But, I think I’m a burden to her day. Other than that. Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s BK people, you’re going to get cold fries and crappy service every now and then.

I love Burger King, and this is one of the only places I go to at the Union. It’s just a regular, usual BK … nothing too special about it, though lines can be a pain especially in the noon-afternoon. One interesting thing is that they have an «express» window where you can only order certain items.

The Burger King at Sac State is the place you go when you have little cash and want a lot of food. Whether you like or dislike Burger King, this location isn’t going to sway you either way. The prices are slightly higher than the other locations to offset rental costs at the University Union. The Hornets’ Nest is one of the worst locations for free wifi. If you’re looking for a hamburger, Kung Fu Fat’s Asian Marketplace in the River Front Center prepares a heftier and simple hamburger for a good price. Random note: Since Burger King is an outside vendor with a separate exclusive license, it doesn’t have to submit to the $ 12 million, 25-year university partnership with Pepsi. You can only buy Coke products here.
