I came in here wanting to shop not get pressured to sign up for a credit card. If I was interested I would ask or say I was interested the 1st time they asked. I was in there around 30 minutes and she asked a handful of times AND when I was checking out. It was very uncomfortable.

I come here strictly for their shoes since they actually have really cute wide width shoes. I came with a coupon and was able to buy two pairs of shoes for less than $ 30. AC is a little high in here but other than that the store was nice and clean and the staff was nice and helpful.

I went to Avenue today and like always I had to ask for a dressing room. There was no other customer in the store and not one person working there asked if I needed assistance which I did. They saw me go back and forth several times getting different sizes and not one person thought to ask me if I wanted help. All they were interested in was their conversation. I asked a girl where she got her pants and she said they were sold out. I found a whole rack of them at the front of the store and when I told her she said oh, ok. Horrible customer service!

The clothes are hit or miss, but it’s nice to have an alternative to Lane Bryant, especially outside the mall. Avenue has good sales and GREAT clearance! I found a little black dress for $ 20 on the clearance rack — score! It’s not fancy, but it dresses up with jewelry. The clothes are on the lower end, quality wise, but they’re reasonably priced enough to get you through a season, at least. The shoes are cute but look cheap and only come in wide widths. Note to Avenue: just because your shoppers are chubby doesn’t mean their feet are all wide. Bottom line: come here for casual clothes and shop the sale and clearance racks.
