El Pollo Loco

Este es el peor pollo loco que he visitado, no lo recomiendo a nadie, de verda que llegas adentro y aunque no hay mucha gente tardan como 45 minutos en atenderte y aveces tienen líneas de persona en espera y solo una esta en caja y además la comida esta pésima. Que mal.

they did not have any breast white meat. I asked for salsa they did not put any. This place was very empty now I know why. Here is your one star and I have always been going to L Pollo Loco at other places. But I will never go back here. This place is dirty the outside is dirty and the cashieris dirty

First let me start off by saying listen to the bad reviews. This is the worst El Pollo Loco you can go to. My husband and I recently visited this location via the drive thru and when we drove all the way home which we don’t live close, we realized my food I ordered was not in the bag, and they did not put avocado on my husbands meal.
I called el pollo loco and told them they forgot my food they charged me for and one of our meals had no avocado. The manager told me the reason there was no avocado in my my husbands food was because they ran out. I then asked her how were they going to make me my avocado quesadilla she then started to stutter and said they have 2 avacado left. The manager also said she would give us free chips and guacamole for the inconvenience.
So long story short, we went back got our food but it was cold. I think they gave me the first quesadilla they originally made but forgot to put in my bag. I specifically told the manager to make me a fresh one. The food experience and service was just bad. The chicken was burnt to. it sounds like the manager and the staff here may be incompetent. Also the the guacamole was gross and turning black and the chips were stale. They actually made it worst by giving me free nasty food.

Horrendous service. Ordered a drive through meal to take home and didn’t receive the green hotsauce/​salsa that I ordered. Only found out when I got home. Massive fail.

Been going to EPL for many years beginning in early 80’s in the SF Valley and always get the marinated chicken with flour tortillas. Even though they aren’t a «one chicken operation» anymore, when they don’t overcook the chicken (cost ‘em one star), you still can’t do better.

The service was superb, the workers were nice and they helped me with my picky needs lol, will always be coming back on a mostly daily basis being that my gym is nearby.

Went here for my lunch. Thinking that it will be in and out. But when I drove to the drive thru, the lady that was on the speaker said that I have to go in to order. Thinking for a moment, I said why. She respond and said she had no body inside and the order will be quick. Went inside to order, and talk to the lady in front of the counter, she said she knew nothing about it. So I just want to leave you a remark. I’m given an hour for lunch, I do not have time to dine in and wait for my order. Half an hour my food was made. Waste my hour of lunch.

This is a fairly new location for El Pollo, but sadly they must be having money issues. Either that or the girl on the drive-​thru is funding something from palming money from the customers.
I gave a $ 20 bill to pay for my order and was asked if I had the .23. I gave her a quarter and when she handed back my change, all wrapped in the receipt, she said that they were running low on pennies and did I need my .02 back? Really??? I said no. There was another car right behind me so I didn’t look at my change until I got to the stop light. She shorted me $ 1 !!! Again, REALLY??? Do that with enough cars during the month and you have some good money there. Still not sure if it’s the restaurant policy or the cashier.
Very disappointed in this location. I’ll stick to the others in town.

Small portions and the chicken is super bland… I have gave this place several different chances and honestly everything tastes the same… Bland bland bland. My pet peeve is when I ask for extra salad dressing and they still only give me one :(it forces me to check my bag every time.

Worst El Pollo Loco I have ever been to. Chicken was over cooked. Will not come here again

I’m only giving one I like Pollo Loco but when I ordered a three peace all white meat and they said breast and wing and they gave me two backs and a wing I’m kind of not very happy it was all bones. Maybe they’ll do better the next time someone orders. Hopefully they read this.

I love this pollo loco! Best food ever! I wish it was closer the my home but the only pollo loco where their employees are super nice to their customers!

Been here 3 times and got my order wrong twice. This last time I ordered a bowl with no salsa and corn tortillas. The bowl had salsa and I got flour tortillas. It was at 130 so I would guess the lunch rush had passed. Steer clear if you want a good lunch!

The employees are friendly; however, the food there is substandard compared to other El Pollo Loco restaurants I’ve visited. At times, the grilled chicken has an odd smell and taste that kills the appetite. I haven’t visited in a while due to this issue. This last visit, I decided to order an Avocado and Bacon Tostada Salad minus the chicken. The bacon pieces were mainly fat and the tostada shell was stale.
I find this very unfortunate because I like EPL and I work close to this location. Suffice it to say, I will no longer patronize this location.

I loved there extremely hot and fresh chicken and shrimp bowl. It tasted so good that I got another one for dinner. I also enjoyed there fast and friendly service. My server was Jocelyn.

I’m a huge fan of Pollo Loco and more often than not, order the Tostada Salad-​yes, with the cilantro dressing! I was delighted to see the option of double chicken now available! The salad was delicious, and I was not disappointed. I wasn’t a fan of the avocado chicken burrito and maybe this was a fluke, but I’m sticking with the salad (or Family Feast because that’s a good deal, too).
The location is in a very busy strip mall, but I did not have any difficulties with parking. I would suggest you orient yourself before the approach because if you are on the wrong side of Howe Avenue, you will be wishing you were born on the other side of the street-​yeah, it’s that impossible to cross, and you may opt for a different dining option.
The employees were very kind at this location, and I appreciated their willingness to make sure customers were promptly served.
The Salsa bar was right next to the ordering line/​cash registers which is a bit awkward and odd-​trying to scoop up your condiments while not obstructing the ordering guests.

The store open last year 2014 in the end off summer.
I went in to try their shrimp enchiladas. So yummy and had 4 medium size shrimp inside each enchilada. Wow so worth the money. I personally wouldn’t get this much shrimp in every bite in other fast food chains. David gave me great customer service and definitely knows his stuff. I’m definitely coming back more often.
The great part it has a salsa bar and fountain drink are located in the lobby.

Horrible experience, I’ll let my pictures explain my experience in brief.
Complained to corporate the day of then didn’t hear anything back two weeks later from the assistant manager of this location. We were told «come in anytime, just mention your name and you will be taken care of.» Wrong. Went in to see if this was true & just like we suspected it didn’t go as plan. The workers thought we were lying and even showed them the conversation via email we had previously discussed about the first dissatisfying experience.
So frustrating. Rude customer service

How slow is the service at El Pollo Loco? Every customer is given a beeper, so they will know when their order is ready. You would expect to be given a beeper at a popular restaurant with long wait times, but something is clearly wrong when a fast food place has to use beepers.
We ordered the chicken enchiladas for $ 6.39. The enchiladas come with Spanish rice and raw broccoli. The rice and broccoli were good, but the two small enchiladas were absolutely horrible. Inside the slightly burned tortilla shells was very dry and tough shredded chicken. It was totally inedible.

I was excited to see sacramento to bring in an el pollo loco! The restaurant is clean and the service is great! You can see them cook the meat right there.
THEY HAVE HORCHATA as a soft drink!

Tons of staff running this place. You know they’ve put their best foot forward when they are walking table to table to pass out wet wipes and condiments.
Tasty citrus marinated, grilled chicken. Rice, beans and corn on the cob were perfect.
Whoa! I’m not one to order desserts at fast food restaurants but they gave one to me for forgetting my drink. Tres leches cake IS THE BOMB! Moist, not too sweet and fluffy!
Reasonably priced, 2 pieces of dark meat chicken with two side choices is $ 7.99, $ 1
more for 3 pieces.
