I NEVER write reviews on Unilocal,but I feel like I need to warn potential customers. I thought of this to be one of the nicer storage units in Sacramento until I used it to store my own things.
There was a huge leak through the roof of the storage unit and it completely ruined my mattress AND box spring. They were only a few years old and were covered in mold and water spots.
The owner simply told me it was not his responsibility because I had signed a contract even though prior to signing the contract I was told that there were never leaks in this unit and that it was a very secure building. That was a load of BULL!
DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS AT 9TH AND X!

My move was running late and all the other storage places closed their doors right at 5pm. I called this place and the guy at the office offered to wait for me. He waited until 7:30pm so I could get there and get my stuff in! Very kind of him, he really saved me during a tough move.
Their prices are pretty fair, the first two months are half off and then after I was paying $ 92/​mo. The only major downside is they have no trash on site, and nowhere nearby. Made it hard to clear out.
Would definitely use this place again anytime I am ever back in Sacramento. Highly recommended.

I love this place. The owner is often there and Danny at the desk is great-​calm and helpful. These people treat you like a human being.
