Walked by yesterday. Place is definitely closed, all fixtures gone. Possibly moving to Mamaroneck?

The best burrito joint in Westchester! Very good food, and good service. The place is very similar to Chipolte, but a much much better value. I love the free chips & the salsa bar with every burrito order. I have eaten at many many mexican food establishments, and this place is excellent really. The ingredients are fresh, the food is great, and the service is friendly and fast.

Delicious food. Good service with a very clean facility. The price was also very appealing. Bring your appetite because the portions are rather generous. Highly recommended.

Have ordered off the catering menu a couple times now and all the Executives at the office rave about it! They do such a good job bringing everything needed and setting up! Will definitely be ordering for our meetings again and again!

Airplane food quality. Coach, not business class. If you like food that tastes like a tray table, then this is your spot.

Hands down our favorite fast food Mexican joint. Great chips not loaded with salt and they are free all you dab eat. Really good red and green fresh salsas. Comfortable booths. All chicken meals are with white meat. Great rice. Good quality burrito wraps. Amazing not too spicy guacamole. We just love this place and go 1 – 2 times per week. Only downside is parking on the street can be tricky and lot in back is pay. I wish we had one in Greenwich.

I tried this Florida based Mexican chain for the 1st time. I chose“the Zona“which comes with rice, beans chicken and fresh salsa and romain lettuce. As I don’t like black beans I asked it to remove. It also came with a lot of fresh vegetables, which was good to me since I like vegetables. My husband ordered chicken Burrito and he said it was so so. Good thing is they have small salsa bar on the corner so you can choose some fresh salsa as you like. Each price was reasonable, less than $ 10 for Will try another menu.

I love the shrimp quessadillas. But when I try anything else, it always turns out inedible. The chicken taquitos were tasted like leather. I had a few bites of the shrimp burrito before throwing it out. Then I walked across the street to Starbucks for a pastry because I was still really hungry and I needed to get the taste out of my mouth. They pile on the grossest free chips I’ve ever had. I keep coming back for the shrimp quesadillas and because I spend a lot of time in the area, but I really need to stop.

If you’re looking for authentic mexican food, this place is not for you. However if you’re looking for a fun lunch spot with your friends with great food, this place is still not for you. If you were crawling in the desert having not eaten for 6 days and happen across Zona Fresca, take a deep thought about which sounds more inviting, the cold embrace of death or choking down any uninspired cardboard this«restaurant» has to offer. After eating here I’m not sure which I’d rather pick. I’m spoiled having grown up eating some of the greatest authentic mexican food in south Texas for most of my life. When I saw a new mexican restaurant pop up where Cosi(RIP) used to be I went in expecting I wouldn’t i be impressed. But oh my god they did they exceed that expectation. The beans were disgustingly bland, they honestly tasted like one of the employees held a can of black beans over a candle for 4 minutes before dumping them on a plastic plate. The taquitos were so dry and hard that the only possible use for them could be to fight off anyone who tried to serve you them. In the world of mexican food guacamole is the hardest thing to do wrong but the little Zona that could proved everyone wrong when they came out with a tiny plastic bowl of a lazily chopped avocado with a little scoop of pico de gallo plopped on the side. I swear that this restaurant could f**k up a bowl of cereal if they tried. Why any of these reviewers enjoy this place is beyond me. In conclusion, if you want to question what can legally be passed off as food you’ve found a new spot.

I’ve had a few of their burritos and they’re always deliciously on point. Also their staff is the nicest, they gave us free chips and guac while we waited. There’s a complimentary salsa bar to top it all off. I got the sense that all their ingredients were really fresh too, will keep coming back!

I like Americanized Mexican food as much as the next person but this location’s food was very bland. I’m not even sure the black beans have any seasoning on them. They tastes straight out of the can. The chicken had that weird Burger King charbroiled taste to it. The staff looks like they have never made Mexican food before in their lives and lack any sense of pride or joy about the product they are producing. No one really explained how the restaurant worked or that salsa was around the corner. While ordering I could hear the manager talking to the guests about business and the costs if renting such a large space. I should’ve taken that as a warning and ordered elsewhere this food messed up my iron gut. Just go to Chipotle in the next town over. Or go eat real Mexican food in Port Chester or New Rochelle. Your tastebuds and stomach will thank me.

We order from here all the time. Food is ONPOINT! Lost a star because the plates are not the best and my plastic fork has cracked my last 3 salads. Makes eating my slamming food a pain because the dressing starts leaking all over.

honestly the food here is okay, portions are good, but not worth the price — around the same price range as chipotle but chipotle 10x better.(especially chips) 3 stars for the service.

Thank god this place is here. I’m from south Florida and I would go all the time. This places BLOWS away any other Mexican place including chipolte. The food is half the price, better quality, and comes with chips. I don’t know why people run to to chipolte to pay $ 10 for a burrito and everything is extra. That being said… The food here is great, fas, and fresh!

I love this place! The people that work there are so nice and always are smiling. The fish tacos are awesome, the gringo chicken tacos, and the salsa bar. We love coming here for a fast, healthy, and inexpensive dinner. It’s always packed at lunch time.

I can tell this is going to be my new favorite place. I had the charbroiled chicken burrito for lunch today and it was delicious. I also love the the numerous salsa options at the bar area. The place is very vibrant and the workers were very helpful when guiding me through the menu. Overall, I had a good experience. Would definitely recommend!

When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. Being that I am very easily grossed out, I am always on the look out for any signs of unsanitary conditions but this place passed my test. I ordered the charbroiled chicken burrito. Super good. The ingredients tasted fresh and it came with ALL white meat chicken!!! which chipotle does not offer and I don’t know why. White meat is mucho healthier than dark meat. The food was ready super quick and they brought it out to my table for me! I’ll definitely be back.

Are you ready to RUMMMMMMMBLE?! The Burrito & Taco Wars have heated up again with Zona Fresca throwing their hat into the ring. Hailing from Florida(7 stores), this small chain with 2 stores in NJ, opened their first NY store in the sleepy little town of Rye, NY. This lightweight is about to go toe to toe with the burrito behemoth, Chipotlé. Avoiding a TKO by not duking it out in NYC might’ve been a smart idea on their part. On the main drag of Purchase St, it’s a bit of a challenge to find parking, but there are municipal lots scattered around if you can’t get street parking. The design of the store is a little odd, in that the ordering counter and kitchen is set half a flight of stairs above the dining room(with a hydraulic lift for handicap accessibility). It is a bright, colorful and inviting space. On opening weekend, we decided to try out the newcomer. Armed with Grand Opening 15% off coupons, we ordered the Siesta Maker, a burrito that certainly rivaled in size anything Chipotlé can turn out. The taste, however was pretty bland and the chicken was hardly seasoned at all, as were the other ingredients(beans, guacomole, onions, peppers, rice). Same could be said about the Zone, which is a deconstructed burrito plate. On the plus side, you also get a large bag of tortilla chips and there is an unlimited salsa bar with 4 different varieties to choose from. ZF’s menu also offers more variety such as fish tacos and shrimp salad, which I would try for the next time. Down to the decision on the mat, I would give this battle to the champ, Chipotlé for both value and taste, though the upstart kid, Zona Fresca will try to give them a run for their stock options.
