Enjoyed a nice meal. I tried the Silvio’s Special. The shrimp & scallops were fresh and the pasta al dente. Well Done. Would definitely stop by on my next trip to the area.

Had a delicious meal at the bar-really enjoyed the Pasta California-a great recommendation from our lovely waitress Kelly. Drinks were very good and the service was great.

Just left this place and my stomach hurts as I type this. First the bar drinks were weak and the soda tasted flat. The best part of the meal was the free garlic bread with peppers. After that everything went down hill. They put an entire soft kaiser roll in their french onion soup. Um– what?! At the end of the meal someone at the table mentioned that the veal was overcooked.(understatement). The server took the plate in the back and– I can’t make this up– came back out and said that«she could cut it with a fork, so there was nothing she could do». Pretty crazy attitude considering no one was asking for anything. If you want an upset stomach and an empty wallet, then this place is for you. It looks like a hole in the wall but that can be a good or bad thing. In this case– it was very, very bad.

First — and last –time we dine at Antonietta’s. They simply don’t know how to run a restaurant. Good way to come away with a bad Valentine’s Day memory. We were guests of a local association and we will ensure that group never invites its guests here in the future.

Excellent service followed by excellent food. Very authentic dishes with a taste of fresh ingredients. The desserts are a must. Kid friendly and not too pricey.

This old school Italian eatery will fill you with comfort food and leave you asking for more. If you like home made pasta, sausage and meatballs to die for, broccoli rabe and tender veal, this is the place for you. Top it off with limoncello cheese cake or cannoli in a cup and you have some fine eating. Be warned that finishing all this will be a challenge, but the gracious staff will be happy to provide you with doggie bags. The large full service bar can provide you with whatever you like and the house wines by the carafe are a bargain. The décor in the back dining room is a bit dated with the many open radiators but you come here for the food first. Lots of parking too.

I was given a Groupon randomly, so my husband and I decided to check this place pit. The service was alright(the hostess and waiter were definitely nice!), but either the menu or our waiter was wrong. My husband ordered root beer, off the menu, and was told they don’t carry that. The menu specifically says something about everything being made fresh/made to order and to feel free to ask for substitutions. I ordered he Pasta California, minus the sausage: «Thin rolled dough with ricotta, sausage, onion, black olives, spinach and mozzarella cheese, baked in a red sauce.» The waiter returned after we ordered and said, «She can’t make it without sausage.» So, is the food made fresh or no? He didn’t bring the menu back, so I didn’t know what to order and got the only thing I remembered seeing: Ravioli Pomodoro. As far as the food is concerned, it was okay. I’m not one to judge Italian food. It all tastes the same to me.(To give a frame of reference, I think MARLENE mangia bene is delicious, whereas Amici Ristorante is… sub-par.) My husband said the same about his Involtini. Meh. When my husband ordered his third soda(the drinks were all served in tiny juice glasses!), it had a long black hair in it. Our waiter was a short-haired male, so it wasn’t his… this kind of situation is embarrassing to me, so we didn’t say anything and just asked for the check. I almost wished we had mentioned the hair — they charged us for three sodas! I’ve never been charged for fountain drink refills EVER. And even when places charge for a refill(for juice and bottled drinks, which are obviously going to cost money), I’ve always been reminded, «This isn’t a free refill, is that alright?» It wasn’t a big deal, but still, shocking, especially considering the size.

Really good food here. Great little hidden spot in Runnemede. Working class crowd and hearty plates, cold beer and big shot glasses make this a place I will definitely try again! Not super fancy though, so only bring your lady if she’s low maintenance.

With a Groupon voucher in hand, I headed to Antonietta’s Restaurant located in Runnemede, NJ. I finally decided to try this restaurant because we pass this place so many times and it always caught my eye, due to the fact it is a namesake of my sister’s name. They have a private, good sized parking lot. We were greeted at the door by a jubilant hostess who was about to seat us at the table facing the parking lot. She was gracious enough to allow us to switch tables to one with a better view when I asked for it. I was glad we moved because the table we moved to was also a window table but had the view of the busy Black Horse Pike which showcased the local businesses along the road. The dining room is quaint and the layout is done in such a way that they take into consideration that those in wheelchairs can be acommodated with no problem. This being said, the restaurant is handicap accessible. The bathroom is large, clean, bright, spacious and decorated with a nice touch of the flower vase. I guess it would be nice if they could add a changing table for the little one if they are advertising their establishment as having a family type of atmosphere. Our server approached our table with a genuine smile and full of energy. It seems that she loves her job. All the appetizers we ordered were all very delicious and arrived to our table warm. We were provided with a complimentary«Texas Toast» type of garlic bread with roasted peppers on the side. And boy it was delicious! The chicken corn soup was warm and hearty and the salad served was fresh. The Cheese Tortellini was good, but could use a wee bit more of seasoning. The Chicken & Eggplant Parmigiana was devoured with gusto. I chose Chicken Capri of which I decided to ditch the potato/pasta side and instead opt for broccoli spears as a substitute. They cooked the broccoli too much which robbed it from being served crisp. The cook put too much lemon in my dish. The Asparagus tips had the inedible part of the stalk included of which I had to spit out. I hope the establishment will make a note of this because this is something that can be remedied with no problem. I will definitely return back to this place even without a voucher in hand because great service is something that is hard to find nowadays. This establishment seems to want to improve on service because they encourage the customers to fill out their house survey so they can find out how service was. I am all for that. Oh, and by the way, free WIFI is available here.

Really good food. We were surprised. The atmosphere and service leave a lot to be desired. The server did not know the menu, and even though I was inside a restaurant, I still felt like I was in a tap room. The place needs a huge upgrade and the servers need a lesson in the food the are serving.

I discovered this restaurant in November, 2013 and I think I’ve been back at least once a week ever since. So far I liked everything. The portions are pretty big and they have great garlic bread. The home made cheesecakes tops it off. I highly recommend this place.

If I had the option to give this place no stars … Then I would have but I am forced to select at least one star. The restaurant was extremely cold and the wait service was horrendous. Our server’s name was Noreen and was extremely grumpy. She was very unprofessional when she argued with me on what I had ordered(she literally argued from across the room when I was politely talking to the manager about my meal). I ordered the Carmella special which specifically states that it comes with shrimp mushrooms crabmeat over capellini. I had a choice between soup or salad and a vegetable. The waitress failed to bring out my entire meal. I received 4 shrimp in an mushroom and oil sauce and side of sautéed spinach. I asked where was the capellini and waitress responded that I did not order it. I then asked for a side of it because my plate was so empty. The manager came over to see what was wrong and I explained to her that my plate was missing crab meat and capellini. The waiter was helping another table but was rude enough to yell to her manager that the customer NEVER ordered pasta. The bill was $ 150for 4 people… One drink each and 1 appetizer to share… Too over priced for crappy, bland extremely small portions. I rather go to the local diner and have seafood from there. I will never return.

Maybe it was an off night or maybe it’s just a terrible restaurant but I would avoid Antoniettas at all cost. We popped in on a Saturday night for dinner. Place wasn’t crowded and it wasn’t late. Let’s start with bread. It’s an Italian restaurant and what do they serve in the bread basket? Hoagie rolls! Really with an Aversa italian bakery less than 7 miles away in turnersville, this joint couldn’t get Italian rolls delivered. Next, drinks. we ordered three soft drinks. Glass maybe 10 oz max and with most places offering free refills Antonietta hit us up for 2 bucks a refill. It went downhill from there. Oldest son ordered a pizza, he said it taste just like the ones we get from Shoprite! Not good. I had the shrimp fra diavolo. noodles over cooked and mushy. My youngest son ordered the Spaghetti and meatballs. Sauce tasteless, noodles over cooked. No one here must know the meaning of Al Dente. Skip this one at all cost folks.

It’s like eating at a luncheonette with gourmet prices. We went there after 8pm and there was only one other table with customers. We asked to seat were there are 2 tables put together which normally sits 4 but the elderly hostess said no, that’s for 5 or more. Our party of 3 had to sit at a small round table. The bread was 2 buns meant for a deli sandwich. The salad was plain and simple. The portions were small, but the prices were not. The kids spaghetti and meatballs was so small it looked like a side dish.

Have you ever seen a bad movie on TV and said, «I’m glad I didn’t pay to see that»? Well, fortunately I had a gift certificate for this place, otherwise I would have been even more disappointed. The only thing I was looking forward to was the Lobster Bisque. They said they were out of it. We sat down to eat at 5:00PM. How do you run out of something before the evening dinner service even begins? My wife and I both ordered pasta dishes. The main courses arrived before we could even finish our mediocre salads. Not likely a meal made from scratch. The boxed pasta dishes they served were quite bland offering very little flavor. The bread was cold. Most likely it was thrown into the wicker basket from its plastic bag, not even warmed in a microwave or oven first, and certainly not homemade bread. Butter was cafeteria style; little individual mini plastic butter servings, like you get at McDonald’s, only smaller. They refused to take any less than a $ 15 charge on my credit card.(This practice is illegal, by the way). Fortunately my wife had cash with her to pay for our pre-dinner drink. She also had enough cash to pay the tip, since the bill total was less than $ 15 with the gift certificate, despite the fact that our entrees were both $ 22.95 each. I felt they would have been fairly priced at $ 12.95 each. Bottom line: don’t waste your money going to this place. You will be paying about double the price for very mediocre food and atmosphere.
