The Clothes Pin

It has been several years since I’ve used a laundromat and the experience is what I remember it to be, a pain, luckily this laundromat was clean, had a friendly staff and quality equipment. While there could definitely be more seating, it’s a good place to do your laundry, they have some nice Unilocal deals and there are places to shop, eat or even bowl within a few minutes walk while you’re waiting.

The laundromat is not a favorite place of anyone, if they tell you otherwise they are liars.
The Clothes Pin, gets 5 stars because they really only have larger washers (and lots of them at that), plenty of dryers, and some fantastic hours of operation (you don’t have to worry about getting in and out by 7 or 8 pm, perfect for those that work the odd midday to midevening shift). Prices seem a bit higher than other places I have been, but the hassle free situation they provide makes up for it.
Let’s not forget location, you can pop on over and do your grocery shopping, go get breakfast or coffee while you wait, or shop for more clothes to wash on subsequent visits.

This was my first time coming here since it was Laundry Works. The layout is basically the same with an added counter /​payment desk but the machines look upgraded. You can wash your own or drop off and pick up fully washed and folded. It also looks like they have even added dry cleaning!
I stopped in yesterday to make sure they could accommodate king sized comforters before dragging mine in. The girl was waiting on someone but as soon as she was done she answered my questions and let me know about the discount for multiple comforters! I had planned on doing one but decided for the low price I might as well bring a 2^nd!
The drop off process was easy — since I haven’t been here since the change they took my name and number for the database. They even allowed me to request both comforters be washed with my brought from home detergent (which is nice since some brands make my skin itch!)
All in all — a clean laundromat with pleasant employees in a super convenient location for Pawtucket and Rumford residents alike!

I’m a big fan of this place. the recent renovations and extended hours make it even more desirable. the staff are really friendly and willing to accommodate patrons needs. A++!

With our washer on the fritz, I saw The Clothes Pin had some positive reviews on Unilocal and decided to give them a try; I was looking for a full service laundry to help out when I couldn’t afford to sit in a laundromat all evening.
Let’s just say that everything went swimmingly. From the first moment I felt a nice welcome; I walked wit my daughter and a large sack of laundry and the doors opened automatically, and the manager on duty offered a warm greeting. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent — all our clothes were nearly folded and organized. I didn’t have any special requests, but was asked if I did.
We’ll be returning here until our washer is back up to speed. The wisdom of Unilocal reviewers once again pointed me in the right direction.

We brought our comforter here to get cleaned and the were super friendly, attentive and did a great job! Extremely reasonable prices too!

Great service on they way in, on the way out there was a senior that had a lot of trouble finding my clothes and hearing. Let that be the worst, although I’m very very specific about my shirts with a heavy starch, and it was no where close. Also I paid about 70 for the laundry pickup and the older lady asked me to bring the hangers back?
