Jessie Jean’s Coffee Beans & Cafe

May 21, 2016: Went back to Jessie Jeans this afternoon with a friend. I had the French Dip with Sweet Potato Fries. My friend had the Roasted Garlic Cheese Burger and Onion Rings. Both of us raved about the food quality. We shared each other’s meals. Once again I wasn’t disappointed. The only feedback I would give is that the au jus was a little too salty and had way too much sage. A little bit goes along way with herbs. Toned down a bit it would have been perfection! Everything seemed fresh, and the bread (hoagie) was wonderful! Just the way a hoagie should be! My friend raved about her fresh onion rings and said the burger was great! I loved the onion rings too! Good job Jessie Jean’s!

We found this gem just off the 15 fwy in Utah and live the food. We split the cilantro chicken wrap which was plenty of food for two people. It was packed with fresh veggies, lots of chicken and a very nice cilantro ranch dressing. We also ordered a couple of coffees: I chose an ice Anericanonwith Hazelenut and my wife ordered a vanilla Chai. Both were excellent! The service was not slow… but not fast either. It was worth the wait and the employees were very nice and accommodating.
My only complaint is that the coffee display includes several clear plastic containers of beans that were filthy inside. Had I known our coffee was going to be made from the beans in those containers I would not have ordered anything.

Just stopped by for coffee and really enjoyed this shop. Small town-​ish and some great light roast. Service was awesome, too.

I love supporting local coffee shops! Jesse Jeans Coffee has a personal touch compared to some other competitor shops. She always has a smile on her face and is very helpful and nice. Jesse would even make special dishes for my brother and I when we were younger. Just goes to show what she is willing to do for customers and how out of the way she will go.

Great homemade food. Anna and Ron are great cooks and truly make their customers feel at home. Awesome place for breakfast or lunch. I recommend the smothered burrito and the breakfast croissant for breakfast. Any of their sandwiches are off the hook for lunch. Great hometown hospitality, and everyone has a sense of humor.

I heard good things and had to come try the breakfast. I had the French toast and eggs. Reminded me of traditional home cooked breakfast. There were a few syrup options which was nice.
The staff was friendly and the owner even came to check on us. There are many coffee choices and you can have your own unique ceramic coffee cup from the cupboard just like at home.
This place cares about their customers, which was refreshing to watch and experience.

I started going to Jesse jeans back in November. Ever since my first time going there I knew that this coffee shop was the best! I have always had great service. Their food is fantastic. They also make all of their food from scratch which is something that I highly value. I highly recommend this coffee shop not only do they have fantastic brew but their food is amazing!

I still don’t understand how so many people flock to the Burger Bar, when Jessie Jeans is just down the steet.
Jessie Jeans is hands down the best place to get a burger or sandwich anywhere in this area.
They even have delicious treats like home made cookies, scones, peanut butter bars, various cheesecakes, bread pudding, cinnamon rolls, etc.
The ONLY thing Jessie Jeans doesn’t have, the the Burger Bar does have, is ice cream.
Other than that… in my opinion, the Burger Bar doesn’t even come close to the amazing menu and taste that Jessie Jeans offers!

Great coffee! The pastries are so yummy!

The food was decent, but didn’t rock my world. The biggest knock was that the person who took our order acted like a seasoned pro, but couldn’t figure out how to enter all the requests we had. Maybe if I had ordered coffee and a bagel I would have been within her range. Then we received easy items very late and then the main orders took a very long time to get to our table when the place was not busy. Based on reviews and a plug in a local newspaper I probably had too high of expectations.

Are you looking for a great cup of coffee, a danish or doughnut or maybe a tasty meal, then Jessie Jean’s might be the place for you. I drove past this place many times not knowing exactly what it was. One day I saw an article about great places you may not know about in Utah and Jessie Jean’s was one such place.
I have been to Jessie’s a couple times now and if it were closer or more inline with my commute I would be there even more. I have had a sandwich and coffee both times and both times were very good.
The ham, egg, cheese croissant is yummy. A big fresh croissant with three seasoned eggs, ham and cheese which is not equaled by anyone in the area. Oh, did you note that I said seasoned eggs, yep that is right, I finally found someone that adds seasoning (pepper and I assume salt) while cooking the eggs, what a crazy idea.
The smoked turkey, bacon and cheese bagel gives the croissant a run for its money. The bagel is fresh and large and piled high with in house smoked turkey, crispy bacon and has an awesome garlic cream cheese spread that brings it all together, man I wish I had one now!
They have several different flavors of coffee and if you eat/​drink at Jessie Jean’s they give you self service access to a half dozen options which appear to change a bit each time I have been there. Of course I had to stick around awhile and try a bit of all of them including the House Blend, Mexican, Colombian, French, Italian and the Big Brother all were very tasty.
For a casual place with great coffee, great food and friendly service at a reasonable price give Jessie Jean’s a try. Wait, I forgot to mention they have a nice selection of condiments to go with your meal, including a good variety of hot sauces, I tried them all and I am glad I did.

I head to JJ’s whenever I can, their coffee and Italian sodas are always good. Flavorful, friendly, couldn’t ask for more.

If you are looking for great home cooked meals and the best coffee around, this is the place! I’ve been going to Jesse Jeans for 15 years and recommend their food to anyone who will listen. Try the breakfast burrito or breakfast bagel. You won’t be disappointed. Also, the owners and staff are what make it such a great place.

This place is not appealing at all. I thought once I got inside it would be better, but that wasn’t the case.
I ordered a specialty latte, and although it was obviously made correct it didn’t taste good at all. The flavoring and the espresso both tasted bad. Too bad because there really isn’t any coffee places in the area.
Now, moving on to the appearance of the store. I couldn’t believe how cluttered and dis organized the place was. Not to mention the disgusting coffee splashed menus the girl handed me (maybe it’s time to print out some new ones or get a whiteboard?).
The only reason why I gave this place 2 stars is because the girl at the front that helped me was very nice and helpful.
Needless to say I won’t be coming back.

The coffee here is about the best you can get. I love the mocha latte. I don’t know what they do to it to make it much better than other places but it is delicious. I also ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. The order taker said they were huge so I decided to get the half burrito. When it finally arrived it came in a medium sized Styrofoam container. She was right it weighed about 2lbs. The problem I have with the burrito are 1. It is not wrapped up at all. Do not call it a burrito if it is not wrapped up and cannot be eaten on the go. I posted a picture of it above. It is more like a scramble that requires you to stop on the side of the road and eat it with a fork, which was provided. A burrito to me is wrapped up so it can be eaten on the go 2. I searched and searched for bacon but was having a hard time finding any. I did find one piece and it tasted awesome. The bacon had a really nice smoky flavor to it. I was left wishing the burrito had more of it. There were too many potatoes in the burrito as well. If they cut out some of the potatoes and added more bacon, this burrito would be a really good meal.
Now for the good. The breakfast burrito is stuffed with a lot of good things. Many ingredients I thought would not work but they did. Imagine a burrito (really a scramble) stuffed with cubed potatoes, eggs, meat of your choice, 3 different types of peppers, and pepperchinis. I thought having the pepperchinis with eggs would taste odd but it paired well. The burrito was seasoned really well too. Now that I’m prepared that this is not really a burrito I’d order it again only if I’m dining in. It is not a to go item or one to eat while driving.

Great little spot for food and coffee in Roy! Customer service was great and so was the oriental chicken salad.

My friends and I stopped over here on our way to Yellowstone from Salt Lake City. I’m not sure if this review stemmed from the desperation of hunger, but even if it did, this place hit the spot.
The sandwiches were inhaled instantly, the smoothie was thoroughly enjoyed, especially since it was some godawful temperature outside, and the coffee smelled wonderful and made me regret not getting one myself. The staff were all very friendly, with the kind lady behind the counter displaying actual remorse for not having the passion orange guava smoothies available.

I had a hot chocolate that was basically really warm milk, did she forget the chocolate?
J had a BLT with super crisp bacon and he seemed to really like it. He got an italian soda with milk in it. Neither of us knew what to make of it. He drank half.
I ordered 2 no bake cookies for $ 1.07 and they were a bit dry but good. Hard to fuck up a no bake cookie. I had the vinny sandwich that was essentially pizza no sauce. It had balsamic listed on the board but I couldn’t find any in my sandwich.
It was a cute spot, and I can see how people would like it, maybe I ordered the wrong things. Everything seemed really fresh, and I didn’t mind the wait as the ambience was cute and the atmosphere was comfortable.

Stopped here on 10/​10/​2014 small diner feel, very friendly from the lady up front to the guy cooking my breakfast asking how it was.
I ordered a simple scrambled eggs with ham and potatoes o’Brian, eggs were nice and fluffy lightly seasoned with pepper, ham was nice thick piece almost like a ham steak, potatoes had green, red & yellow peppers with light onion minced in small pieces so it didn’t over power the seasoned potatoes which tasted like black pepper, seasoned salt and maybe a touch of garlic, I had them crisp the potatoes a bit which they did perfectly and a slice of sourdough toast which tasted like my mom used to make, That was $ 4.99 excellent simple and delicious.
They had other larger items on the menu that I would have no trouble trying, because I will be back, and would recommend to anyone, they have latte and cappuccino, and other coffees that I haven’t had a chance to try yet.
