I live in the area so I thought I could just stop by and get a quick refill on my nails since I broke one. On a limbo I stumbled into this place. It was July first and I was in need I had a broken nail. Long story short nice remodeling but Veru horrible nail job. Worst I ever got. I call back to inform the salon I was unhappy they informed me to hurry in and see the same person of pay a new person to fix the thick glob of acrylic left un-filed. One star due to the fact that I must put one up to post.

If this is the Fantasy across the street from the Mass ave T stop orange line WORSTNAILSALONINBOSTONFORCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I never write reviews but had to inform people. My horrible experiences added up over the years I went as a college student because they ger 1 star for being the cheapest ratio to dilligence rating. However the customer service and lack of cleanliness makes it the worst !!! it looks incredibly filthy one time I even saw a roach! To be fait that couldve been from a customer who broight it in who knows. The only good person there is Kim the young one but everyone else will talk about you in Vietnamese and treat you based on how you tip them. They didnt serve me one time like BLATANLYIGNOREDME! i had been going there for years and i can say they permantly lost my business for being incredibly RUDE. Not to mention dirty.

Worst manicure ever. Horrible service, gave me the wrong price, then was rude. Cut my finger and was exceedingly unsanitary. Bugs all over stations. Painted shellac past my cuticle so it will come up as soon as my nails grow.

Not the Cleanest place in the world but what hole in the wall nail salon is? ive always walked out happy with my nails. i always get a full set or a fill, full set i dont pay more than 30, with designs and/or rhinestones and a cuticle clean up. for a fill no more than 20 with designs. I usually walk in with a picture of nails i was to copy and they are right on target and get them exactly how i want them. my nails always look good after i walk out. have had no issue with bleeding cuticles or pain. i recommend it for a cute, cheap and quick fullset.

Kinda run down, not many polish colors to choose from, and I was charged $ 18 for an acrylic fill when the listed price says $ 12. When I asked why I was being charged $ 18 she said because I needed a repair. Fine, one repair(and it was acrylic overlay, not even tips) and for repairs they list $ 3/nail on their sign. Wasn’t worth arguing over a few dollars but I won’t be back to a place that sneaks in random up-charges.

12 dollars for a manicure. Not bad. The place is a little sketchy/dirty. The woman who did my nails seemed more interested in watching the computer next to us that was playing some tv show in a foreign language at an unusually high decibel, then doing my nails. I had to make her fix them a couple of times. She was noticeably upset by this. But the manicure was fast. Not many frills. The massage of the hands lasted 10 seconds. I would pay a dollar or two more for more frills in the future.

Uuughhh first off let me say this. I would never in my life suggest or reccommend that anyone I know go to this salon. It is the most ghetto and disgusting place I have ever gone to in my life. I am extremely picky when it comes to getting my nails done and should be considering that Im spending MYMONEY to look good. Granted the prices are really affordable $ 20 for a full set and so forth but that doesn’t mean anything when the service is horrible and the quality is crap! I believe in getting what you pay for and my nails were not worth saving a few dollars. The lady that did my nails took too much cuticle off of my nails and they started bleeding(which had never happened to me before). I told the lady listen I better get a discount and she told me it wasn’t her fault! Really? Thank goodness I didn’t even bother getting a pedicure because the nasty shit that I saw almost made me wanna throw up! One of the ladies used the same pumice stone that she had just finished using on someone else’s feet on another sorry soul. SMH Grosssss! At the end of the day I definatly have done a better job doing my OWNNAILS and they didn’t last long at alll. The selection was meager at best and I would strongly suggest that if you are going to risk infection to go there at least bring your own nail color.

Friendly staff, good quality acrylic, and AMAZING prices. For a full set, design on every nail its only $ 23. YES, only $ 23! Anything other than that is even cheaper. I give it only 4 stars though b/c: 1. The nail polish is kinda cheap and starts fading at the tips after about a week and half. The top coat they use also yellows my nails, which I guess wouldn’t be too noticeable if you get only a solid color, but if you have designs it really affects how it looks. I don’t understand though because they use OPI for their top coat which we all is know is a really good brand, maybe its all the sun’s fault. who knows. 2. They don’t have a large variety of designs and iI love my designs. In fact next time I get a fill I want to try Sue’s on blue hill ave or Galaxy on winter. It’ll cost me a lot more I know but I just want something different. I’ve seen their work and the designs those two venues create are like art! So yeah, I need a change. I feel like I keep getting the same thing everytime I go to Fantasy. And not cause I’m stuck in a rut but because there aren’t many cute options that I like. 3. The location is less than classy. Actually more accurately, the clientele is less than classy. The inside of the place looks very nice, they have a big screen tv on which they play movies which are fun to watch. even though I don’t understand what their saying lol, but the people that come in their… sheesh. I’m above no one but damn, I thought I left that ish back home in NY, I’m in college now, seriously. You’d think people would know how to act in a public establishment by the time they hit age 15. People that go there will know what I’m talking about. All in all great place!
