Walked into here in August while waiting for my GF to get out of work. Everyone was very friendly and the shop although dated was clean. Besides I care more about what I look like after a haircut than what the shop looks like. I was the only white guy there but I figured a barber is a barber. I got the best haircut of my life! The barber by the window did a real nice job, wasn’t in a hurry and clipped and trimmed me to perfection. I was so pleased I take a ride into Boston once a month to get my haircut here. I would recommend this shop to anyone regardless of ethnic origin.

Asked to have my side cleaned up. Don’t know the dudes name but he scraped off my skin w a razor and my face hurts so much right now. My hair will grow back but I scar so easily Im afraid this might be the case where he cut me. He messed up my hair line too. I’ve gone to a ton of other shops and have never had a problem. Extremely unhappy. I posted a picture.

From Cali so I’m always skeptical of shops. I live in Brookline, so it’s hard to find a black barber out here. A-​1 has a cool vibe and Winfrey has hooked it up the last 2 times. Will def be back
