Lakeview Bakery

This is only for wedding cakes so I can’t comment on the bakery portion. I was disappointed in this bakery. I guess it pays to go to a place that specializes in wedding cakes. All of the other wedding cake tastings I have done at places that specialize in wedding cakes actually helped me with the design. I felt after the tasting Lakeview should have paid me because I wanted a simple tiered cake and at first they said I should go with a smaller cake. When I saw one of their cake displays with the size and layers and asked this is exactly what I wanted they changed the design. I don’t know if the employee was not experienced or if they didn’t care, but I felt like I knew more about the wedding cake designing then she did. On top of that the cake tasting was $ 15 for what?!? I guess what you hear that if someone charges for wedding cake testing probably not the best place to go for your wedding cake!
The actual cake was ok… I definitely had better wedding cakes so if you might be looking for birthday cake then maybe, but I think the prices are ridiculous here with it almost coming out to be over $ 5 per serving.
I would recommend The Cake Guys in Duncanville or Delicious Cakes in Addison for wedding cakes… their cakes taste amazing and you actually feel like they are the experts not other way around!

Called to see about a simple cake for my mom 80^th bday. Only need one to feed 25 people. We were not sure if she would even be here for this special day because of her brain tumor so didn’t have a lot of time to prepare. Yep, I only had 2−½ days notice from the dr. I called this bakery but they didn’t even ask for any details … Just said they are booked. Sorry to hear that!

I needed a Dallas Cowboy cake within 1 day for my son’s birthday. Everywhere I went, other bakery said they couldn’t do it and that I waited to late. Lakeview Bakery got it done and it was AWESOME! They made my son’s birthday with this cake and he loved it! Thank you guys so much for pleasing me with my needs and being a great customer service business! A+ highly Recommend them!

I’d highly recommend Lakeview Bakery for any event requiring any type of design cake. Best kept secret-​ever. We had our wedding cake and it was wonderful, deco was very beautiful, and taste was delish!
We couldn’t have asked for better so stop by and treat yourself to a ready cake or get one of their specialty cakes for your next event! You won’t regret it! Worth every penny.
