My mom and I have been coming here for years to get our hair done by Lena. I tend to have frizzy hair which doesn’t seem to ever want to behave, so I always love how she cuts my hair to suit my low maintenance routine. I usually do the hair color treatment to cover the grays and it always looks good in a natural color. They are good with walk-​ins but appointments are most convenient.

Lina should deserve a 5 star review for cuts but for the price I pay that goes up each time I’m there, I expect her to give me better service. I started with her when she was charging $ 25 to now at $ 50. The place is like a street market on the weekend. For just a hair cut, I could be sitting there for nearly 3 hours because she books other clients as many as FOUR at a time and I’m sitting with wet hair, only 10 minutes into the cut. She overbooks and isn’t apologetic about it. She will always try to up sell me with hair coloring and treatments, but I’ve learned to say no because she does not work on you, only her assistant does. Anyhow, I’d recommend her haircuts because she does have the skills, but nothing else.

The quality of my hair stylist is great. She gives me a new different look after the cut and I am totally grateful. Angie is my hairstylist, although she looks young, but she has experience and totally knows what she is doing. I give her a 5 star for such a great job.

I was recommended by the member of my family to have a haircut with Angie. She’s nice, friendly and enthusiastic young woman.
However, I was not impressed much. First, she rubbed my hair too strong when shampooing and some water actually splashed over my face. Unlike, Japanese hairsalon I went to when I lived in SF /​they’re always careful and very gentle.
After finished washing, I was asked to sit at her station. I showed her a picture of the hair style I wanted (medium bob haircut) it was supposed to be a chin-​length, BUT it turned out shorter than it should be. She told me to wait for 2 weeks and it will be ok! what !?! I wanted to look good TODAY why I had to wait ??? I actually waited for a month to finally get a desired hair length.
Everyone in my family who came to have her cut their hair also were told to wait for 2 weeks too…
Sorry but I will never came back :-(

Do you love bangs? Book Amy! $ 45 per cut but Beverly Hills quality! She speaks okay English but is a veteran from Taiwan trained since the age of 17! Her leveled bangs are awesome. I’m crazy about bangs. Layered, sloppy chopped, Beetles, long, short, bob, page boy… I’ve had them all. The best bangs are cut hair by hair. Yeah, I mean, thread by thread. Not the toothed scissors/​cutter bullshit, not razor, but just basic scissors, one by one… And Amy did that. Yup. she’s that quick!
Great hair cut requiring minimal styling is just priceless. B-​E-​A-​U-​T-​I-​F-​U-​L!
