Someone needs to up the standards of this location. Girl who took the order was RUDE! She told us to hold a moment when we pulled up. We waited for 5 – 10 minutes and finally tried to get her attention. She then acted annoyed but took our order with attitude. We have now waited in the drive thru for about 20 minutes and still have 2 cars in front of us to get to the window! Not impressed with this«fast» food service.

Great food butt seems to be a little slower than some other What a burgers. Drive thru has two lanes.

Wasn’t greeted when I walked in, even when the manager looked at me he didn’t say anything, and terrible customer service from the cashier. I ordered the chicken strip meal hoping for thick and juicy strips, but I got pencil thin pieces. I was very disappointed with this location and will never come back again.

I had never tried Waterburger(oh, c’mon, I can’t be the only one that pronounces it like that), but my Mom advised me on how good the fish sandwiches were. So, this was the first Whataburger one I visited, nearest where I live. They. Are. Awesome. The A1 burger is pretty good, too, although I would prefer the fish. I’m just trying their menu, but, it does seem somewhat healthier/safer than McDonalds. Nope, that’s not saying much, but hey, the burgers are beef, not soy, and the meals are pretty filling. Restaurant seems clean, as good as it gets with fast food joints, and my orders haven’t been messed up yet. It gets an A as far as fast food goes!

Food is okay. The only reason I come to this one is because it is the closest one to my house. Drive they always takes O long, which makes no sense considering your food comes out cold and you can tell its old. Today, the girl at the drive thru asked if I ordered a #1 and I told her no I ordered a #5 and she stared at me like I was stupid until she realized it was HER who made the mistake and not me. will only come back if I have to, might drive to the one on 79 instead.

Average for fast burgers. They screwup drive thru orders about 50% of the time; take the time to go in so you can check for yourself. Tried the WhataCatch fish sandwich today, the fish was seriously under cooked and the lettuce limp and wilted. A1 burger always good.

Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich. Omg, y’all, that sandwich is a gift sent from the heavens. Whataburger has now elevated itself to my second favorite fast food place.(Nothing will ever beat my beloved Popeye’s.) Anyway, the sandwich. It comes with three chicken strips, and not tiny ones. Big meaty juicy ones. I’m pretty sure my sandwich might have had four, unless one of the strips was just particularly large. They smother it in buffalo sauce and ranch. Be still my heart. I devoured it in a matter of minutes. Did you know if you order a large fry with your combo that they also give you the biggest soda you’ve ever seen? Nobody even needs that much soda! But I do need that many french fries. Next time I’ll just ask them if they can give me a smaller soda for the same price. I don’t care about paying a little extra, I just don’t want all that soda. «Here’s your order! Y’all need anything else?» «Yeah, can we get like a lot of spicy ketchup?» «Sure can!» They hooked it up. Whataburger saved me from the pangs of hangry and for that I am forever thankful.

First time at Whataburger. Went to dine in. Waited over half hour for a couple of breakfast sandwiches and coffee. These people DONOT wear gloves preparing food. Place was very dirty. Cashier was also the same person who prepared our sandwiches. She and all staffs preparing food wear NO gloves. I hated the fact that these people work in the food industry do not use gloves. My husband and I left with just our coffee. I will never go back to any Whataburger ever again!

I eat here CONSTANTLY. Usually decent, but waiting 47 minutes for a burger and fries is not tolerable. 47 fucking minutes… the staff is too busy being immature little assholes and joking around than to get the food out to the customer. Isn’t that the entire reason to be here as an employee? You’re paying your employees to hang out and not do anything, congrats, you’re on the way to prove why no one respects people in your profession. I counted 24 people total waiting on their food when I sat down. 40 minutes later, they are all still waiting. But you don’t care, just like your employeees, everyone will wait and you get your money while we all suck it up and wait for our food. Pull your heads out of your ass and take control instead of being content because you still have jobs and get paid on a technicality. Apparently a pay check is all you all stand for.

Unorganized. No teamwork between the workers and that is definitely part of their problem. Food didn’t taste bad. The manager doesn’t obviously know how to help his people when the place gets a little busy. It wasn’t even packed at all.

Always a good place to grab a bite to eat whether you eat in or take out. The dining room is usually clean unless they’re being mobbed by a bunch of people. The drive-thru is extremely efficient and they get my order correct.

My wife and I recently moved to Austin. We heard a lot of things about Whataburger… Commercials, word of mouth, etc. We decided to go to this location tonight and our experience was horrific. It was literally hellish. The staff was friendly, but unaware and nearly untrained. There was a lot of joking around…(I saw the cashier doing a hip thrust to his friend while bagging some food). Not to mention nobody was wearing gloves, and the same cashier coughed into his bare hands before preparing more food. You think that’s bad? The worst part was the bugs. Crickets EVERYWHERE. It was like a horror movie. We walked in and stopped at the bathrooms, but my wife had to use the men’s bathroom because crickets were lining the walls and floor in the women’s. There were at least 10 dead crickets easily visible from the counter as we ordered, and we found more and more as we waited, got drinks, etc. Oh yeah and the crickets were literally falling from the ceiling onto the booths and once into a man’s tray. We saw this happen multiple times. We both feel sick to our stomachs(my wife had to wait in the car while I waited for food) and hope this burger is worth the torture. Please God, don’t let there be a cricket or booger in our food. Wouldn’t be surprised.

Wow whataburger! It was really a pretty good one. Service was nice too. Lots of friendly people and I ate I. The restaurant and have to admit I like how they come by with the condiments and napkins etc. the spicy ketchup is a good thing to try and the fires were excellent too. I visit Austin a lot so I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

I stop by this place every now and then whenever I have a hankerin’ for some fast food burger action. They are usually pretty busy, but they have two drive-thrus available, so the wait isn’t an issue. There’s not much to say about these burgers. They get the job done and are pretty big. You can add in bacon or jalapenos for a little extra. Everything always comes out nice ‘n hot.

I used to live by this place, and would walk past it to other stores in the stripmall. And to me, I’m afraid, walking past, it always stank of rancid fat. I’d look at the prices, and they’d be surprisingly high for fast-food. So I never went there, until I was with someone, they wanted to go, and they were buying. And, well, inside it smelled OK, and the food didn’t *taste* rancid, though the smell outside was still nasty. But the burgers were… well, the two-star description here says it all. «Meh. I’ve experienced better». Round Rock has a plethora of quality fast-food burger joints, like Five Guy’s, Freddy’s, Wendy’s, and more. This isn’t one of them. This is just mediocrity, at a quality price. It’s not terrible. It’s just… a patty with good fresh veggies, in a good bun, oozing with rather more fat than I like my patties to ooze.

I don’t eat here as often as I would like to, but I do have a diet to maintain… Whataburger is a Texas staple for goodness, unique burgers and patty melts, and Texas sized drinks that can quinch a drought of thirst… I always appreciate the fresh grilled onions and jalapenos on ANYTHING I order(expect maybe the pies) and the Spicy ketchup is always good when they have it. When the say they have thousands of combinations for their burgers. they do, so give them a try. If you are traveling through Texas. stop and get you some Whataburger because you will not get it anywhere else… its a Texas staple of flavors and community. *Side Note* This location stays busy during weekday lunch time(10 – 2) so expect delays and expect the staff to work as hard as they can to get your order done. Things are grilled to order here. so expect a little delay… but they still hustle for you every time.
