It’s Wendy’s. Background: During Lent they have a fish sandwich as do many fast food restaurants. I am NOT a fan of tatar sauce. Today’s order:(2) fish sandwiches with ONLY lettuce, tomato and pickle. They got ZERO of these right. One had a tomato that someone obviously had put tatar sauce on the sandwich and then changed the bun but the tomato still had tatar sauce on it. The second one had no tomato. The reason the tomato is important is the cut of fish is thin and the breading is dry. So I need my tomato. Were also kinda salty. Bleh. Frosty: it was cold and frozen and not overfilled or messy so that was correct. Fries: didn’t order any so can’t judge them this go round but I generally ask for no salt as they are heavy handed with the salt here. Sometimes they’ll make the fresh, sometimes I think they just ignore the request. They get 3 stars because the baked potatoes I’ve gotten from here are pretty darn good.

Poor customer service. Was given an attitude the whole time by the manager and workers. Wendy’s isn’t that serious of a job which might explain why I was treated like that. Either way, I’m Calling into corporate:)

Probably the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had– and that says a lot. My dad and I had stopped here after church because we wanted something that was fast, easy, but still tasted good. We received just about the opposite. When we first walked in, it was absolute chaos. This Wendy’s had recently been renovated and the layout was horrible. Our cashier talked way too fast and couldn’t seem to get our order right. After we ordered, we waited and got our drinks. Some places such as Jack in The Box and Fuddruckers have those drink machines where you can customize your drink– that machine was one of the worst that I’ve ever used– my drink tasted horrible. This Wendy’s had a pick-up area with a screen above it that labeled orders that were«In Progress» and orders that were«Complete». As soon as my dad and I saw that our order was«Complete»(after a fifteen minute wait), we walked to the pick-up area to get our food. Much to our dismay, there was no food on the counter, and several people were in the pick-up area as well. Names kept popping up on the screen as «Complete» but there was no food on the counter. Finally, some people were receiving their food, but they had ordered after us! About three other families were waiting with us and were very upset. One man spoke up and asked where his food was and the seven people behind the counter started asking him what he had ordered! They couldn’t even get their own orders straight! About two of the workers began asking all of the people waiting what their orders were. My dad and I finally received our food about thirty minutes after we had ordered. We will probably never eat at that Wendy’s again.

It’s Wendy’s — who actually reads reviews for a Wendy’s? You don’t go here because you want a fine dining experience. You go here because you’re desperate. But as far as a Wendy’s goes, this is a really good one. Now, stop reading this. It’s a Wendy’s for God’s sake! Go read something that helps you decide about good food and dining experience!

If you want a dollar burger, go to Wendy’s. I generally have a burger, wrap, potato, and salad. My wife gets a couple burgers, a couple wraps and a drink… and the total’s around ten bucks. Their dollar menu isn’t actually a dollar menu any more: but about everything on there is under a buck fifty, and you can eat yourself silly for less than you’d spend on one burger, elsewhere. Not fancy restaurant food — but it’s a lot better than you’d expect at the price. This location is the one we used to frequent, before moving further north in Round Rock — now we go to the one on 620, which is equally good. This one feels smaller inside, but was the first to get the cool«mix your own soft drink» machines. Fun to play with, and you can get your own refills! This is still the only one to have the automatic«give you your change» slide things on the registers, too. Hush. Little things like that please me! In my experience, service here(and at the other location) has always been with a smile, even though we often take our sweet time ordering and order a bunch of the cheap but fiddly stuff to make. Clean toilets at both, too, which I always take as a good sign of a restaurant’s standards :) This location’s good for grabbing a quick dollar sandwich before shopping at HEB(though now I go to the HEB on 79). I find it’s never wise to go shopping hungry, so I used to save myself money by eating here first!

They are always fast and accurate here. This is truly a BUSY lunch location since it is near the tollway, intersections, Dell Computers and many other places. The team here always does their best to get your order fast and accurate. My only question… please stop asking me for CHEESE on my burger. If I wanted that, I would have ordered cheese with it. seriously, PLEASE stop asking. Another note, some time back a crew member broke my debit card and I eventually filed a complaint with the corporate site contact info. They swiped it so hard and fast at a random angle it broke it. They debated that they did not do it… I honestly looked at them with a confused look and explained that I did not give them a broken card. Eventually Wendy’s corporate called me but I missed the call and they did not leave a call back number or other contact information? Overall, they serve food hot, they serve food fast and the french fries are always too salty. They are«fast food» and will always offer you cheese, but you expect that when you come here when you are in a lunch time rush. As to the one-time situation on the card. I think they have been told to «slow down» now. *ramblings and Unilocal review now complete and fully honest*

This Wendy’s location was pretty much like any other Wendy’s I’ve been to. The staff didn’t really go out of their way with suggestions or anything and the food tasted average. This is an ok location to come to for a quick lunch. If your looking for good fast food on this side of the highway this place is better than the kfc next door.

If you like paying for things and not getting them or just plain getting another person’s order then look no further this is the prime location. If I had a dollar for every time they got my order wrong I could afford to eat at a place that wasn’t so bad at service. My fault for coming back I guess I hoped they had a quicker employee turn around

Went to the Wendy’s on Mopac. I distinctly said no to the combo but got fries anyway. I was at the pick up window in my bathing suit so I couldn’t exchange it. My figure thanks you, Wendy’s.

This must be the worst Wendy’s in the Austin/Round Rock area! They are fast and on my way home from a couple of my jobs, but every time I go to this location they screw up my order. The last time they must have given me someone else’s order completely because it wasn’t even close and they stiffed me for at least $ 5 worth of food. Traffic was bad and not worth going back so I took it as a lesson finally learned. I’m not coming back! I like Wendy’s food and there isn’t anything wrong with the food here at this location other than time after time it is never what I ordered!

Been to this Wendy’s a few times with no problems and because of that haven’t bothered to write a review about a fast food chain restaurant, But after this encounter I am more then happy to. I drove through the drive through and after dealing with a very pleasant person through the talk box and paid for my food I arrived at the last window. I was greeted with a bag a food pretty much tossed at me and a look of «really?» when I asked for a sauce to go with my nuggets. When I arrived home I realized my burger had tomatoes on it which I asked to not be on the burger and I only got 4 out of the 5 nuggets from there 99 cent spicy nugget deal. Also I got half a box of frys with my order and I ordered a large. Besides the blatant disrespect at the last window the fact that my order was wrong and shorted food makes me happy to know that there is a taco bell on the way home as well. I will never go to this Wendy’s again.

4 stars compared to other Wendy’s & fast food. I will always be a Wendy’s fan over other fast food places — much fresher, not too salty(I’m lookin’ at you Whataburger!), and priced well. I’ve never had anything wrong in the drive-thru or inside, so that is impressive! Wendy’s also has a pretty good semi-healthy menu. The baked potatoes & chili are good, and so are the salads! But who am I kidding? I usually get a cheeseburger! The crowd gets pretty big sometimes because of Dell. If you can help it, I wouldn’t go here for lunch. I was here at 11:30 today, and the inside was WAY faster than drive-thru. I think there were over 10 cars waiting!

I’ve been to this location many times and always had great service. The drive thru can back up during lunch hour or dinner hour but this is the case with most any fast food establishment. I usually get a double cheeseburger, but I enjoy the chicken sandwiches as well as their salads, frosty’s, baked potato, etc. I found my food to be cooked and assembled perfectly every time. I wish they would bring back the sweet potato — that was great!

Longest. Lines. Ever. Mixed or caused by the Slowest. Service. Ever. WTF. Seriously. I have never been to this Wendys and anything happen fast. I even went IN thinking that itd be faster than being the 12th car in the drive thru, and I don’t think I finished any faster than the folks in their cars. AND, I was one of 3 people INside the place getting an order. Come on. It was plenty staffed, but slow as shit. I don’t get that, and it frustrates the hell out of me. Customer service is a given in any fast food joint, but these folks all catered to the window when they had people in side. BUT, at the same time, the window moved so freaking slow, I was confused. Everyone was friendly, thank God for that. but do NOT expect to hit this Wendys«in a hurry».

I’m updating my review and giving them one star. First off, that phone number has been disconnected and I can’t find any other for them. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo. The guy tells me the sandwich doesn’t have mayo on it to begin with. So I get home, open it up and guess what… MAYO. I HATE mayo and pretty unhappy right now that I can’t even call to have the manager inform the drive-thru worker that he is misinforming customers.

This Wendy’s isn’t too bad. Last week or so my family and I went around 10ish in the drive thru… the line went quick and the order was right though we were a bit irked as we picked up our order at the second window. The man helping us gave our food, left the window open and walked away without saying anything. No «thank yous» or anything to say that was everything. We had to look in our bag to see if it was the whole order since we didn’t know if he went back to get more of our order. We tried getting his attention to see if that was it but he wouldn’t acknowledge us. WTH? I would’ve made this 4 stars on my review but because of this I took away a star. I may be back. just don’t think it’ll be drive thru anymore.

I have been through the drive through a couple times, so this review is not for inside the restaurant. My order has never been wrong here and the line goes through more quickly than other Wendy’s I have been to in south Austin. The Bevo Spicy Chicken was great and it looked like it did on the sign! That says a lot for a fast food place. The service is not very personal though and I took off a start because when I tried to go one night they were closed down early.

It’s Wendy’s … same food as always. But the drive-thru at this location is veeeeeeeery slow! It burns me every single time. Just park, go inside, and take it to go! Time to go … I’m finally making it thru the line. :)

Don’t ever be in a hurry, when you are in a hurry you may do things you would never do under normal circumstances. Jimmy’s crickets I was in a hurry the other day and zipped or slithered which ever you prefer into a Wendy’s fast food drive through line. I ordered the #2 combo, which is a double meat burger and fries and a drink. I also got a small vanilla frosty. Well for goodness sakes the burger was hot and so were the fries. A long story short, Wendy’s is Wendy’s still square burgers, regular fries with all the fixings, still kind of juicy and relatively OK to eat. No new revelations, no WOW I love it, just wondering why. I ate it and thought yes just another windy day. Well guess I found myself not in a hurry anymore. So maybe Wendy’s is a cure for the hurry up mentality I get sometime. No Ohh Eee Ohh Ah Ah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing Bang feeling but I was full. My rating is based on comparing to fast food joins like McDonalds, Jack In The Box, I am not comparing to higher tire places like Might Fine Burgers or even higher places like Roaring Fork. So a 3 or 4 or 5 star for fast food is relative to what you compare it to. Would I go back? Yes if I am in a hurry. Please don’t get in a hurry, Please don’t get in a hurry.
