TGI Fridays

Horrible experience. I will be calling the corporate office on Monday. Service was slower than slow. Food took forever (we were sitting right next to the expo window). My husband and I saw several servers playing with their hair and then handling food on the way out of the kitchen (why was their hair allowed to be down at all??). Fruit flies everywhere. When we finally received a check, we were overcharged for add-​on soup to my meal, but it took 20 minutes to find our server to pay, so at that point i wanted to just leave. No manager in sight except for the poor girl stuck in the expo window. 20 years in the restaurant business and I’m shocked. We will NEVER be back to this location. It’s sad really.

Unpleasant experience in general. Staff would not leave us alone for ten seconds, asking every time one of them walked by «Are you enjoying your food?» while in the middle of intimate conversation or mid bite.
The burgers were bland and burned. I asked for no onions and received a burger covered in grilled onions. Unfortunately right before I was about to ask to have the item returned, a party of 12 came in and no one was available to come to our table for a good twenty minutes. I wanted to eat with my boyfriend, so I just scraped them off and picked at the mushy burger.
We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and there was no cheese in them. :(
Overpriced. Low quality. Poor environment.

Tonight’s service and food were the worst we have had in a long time. We ordered the chicken club and the Turkey burger. The club sandwich only had 1 tiny piece of bacon; the lettuce on the turkey burger was brown; and the meat on the turkey burger was dry and bland. The server was overly attentive to the point of being annoying. When we told the server about the food, her response was to giggle about it. Overall a really bad experience.

Ordered spicy chicken sliders from the appetizers menu and sizzling chicken and cheese. Both were good. The mashed potatoes with sizzling chicken were really creamy and good. Fries were ok but not hot. Overall good experience. Server was polite and attentive.

Had a table of nine, service was good, food was delicious and atmosphere was excellent! Defiantly a Home Run dinner!

All these drinks are for happy hour but my waiter said the crown apple cooler is not part of that special. As you notice the picture can you see «All Day» «Everyday» (blank face)
Food: The food was good but have been better on this visit. The burger was just a little too salty & fries were just warm
Service: The service from my waiter was horrible. I don’t know if he (Samuel) was new or what but I could not enjoy my food from him continuing to come over & bothering me when I’m trying to read the menu & eating. In my head I was like «Damn, could you just leave me alone for moment while I think & enjoy my food… damn» When I needed some help, no where to be found.
Overall: This was not my best experience but I guess just watch out for waiter Samuel, he will aggravate your ass while you are thinking, talking & eating but can’t find when you need him. I would recommend on a good day to come by.

Fantastic experience! Hostess was friendly & we were seated quickly. Service was excellent & the food was delicious. Smaller portion options for only $ 7 were just what we wanted. Cajun chicken & shrimp pasta was hearty & very good. Also very kid friendly with great menu options for little ones along with sturdy plastic cups.

Visited about 1:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. The food was scrumptious. I ordered Cajun chicken pasta (w/​o the shrimp) and friend ordered grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese. I thought the pasta should have come with garlic toast or some bread, but it did not. I paid the 99 cents for 2 breadsticks which were piping hot and very good.
Our waitress, Adrianna (Adri) was great! She paid attention to detail, knew the menu very well, and offered suggestions. The manager, Ben, came by and quickly took care of one misunderstanding we had about our bill. We’ll definitely be back soon. Food and service by Adri and Ben was top notch! Thanks to whomever was cooking behind the scenes and whomever made the strawberry and raspberry specialty teas, it was all scrumptious! Thank you.

terrible service. yeah they were a little busy, but not enough to not give a seated table menus or even greet your table. had to get manager to take the order but he never put it in so 15 minutes after we ordered with him our «waitress» comes over and wants to make sure the order is right before she puts it in whenever the manager should’ve already. all in all terrible experience. maybe if their attitudes were a little better I wouldn’t be writing a bad review

Tried Friday’s once again. We got there about 9:30 on a Friday. We were told there was a 15 minute wait. Looking around, I noticed that there were 15 empty tables in the restaurant, so it was barely half full. Quite a few of the tables had dirty dishes.
Got seated right at 15 minutes. Service was slow, with no drink refills offered. Food was only OK. I had to ask myself why I came back again.

Really small portions. Do not go by the menu pictures. French dip sandwich was so tiny with a total of 10 fries they give you. I had the half rack of ribs that were so dry and barely any meat on them. Our waitress was nice and friendly but more than likely will go elsewhere.

Maybe feeling nostalgic, decided to go to TGIF tonight. Once seated, the waitress walked past our table several times without acknowledging us. After about 15 minutes, we moved to the bar. 2 salads took almost 45 minutes to come out. Very immature staff, food was disappointing. We won’t be back.

Used to be a good place to go now it kinda sucks.
Food takes a long time though multiple seats and tables in the restaurant being empty.
Food consistency is off. Ordered the same app on the unlimited deal, the first order of potato skins was extra crispy, the second was better and had green onions.
Noticed the a female cook in the kitchen is wearing a spaghetti straps shirt; isn’t that unsanitary and unsafe?
What happened Friday’s?

Not a lot of healthy options on the menu, but if you re looking for a larger menu of bar-​style appetizers; then this is where you can get them.
Most recently I got the French Dip and the roast beef and the Au Jous was good, but probably could have used a better bread.
Overall, you get what you get on a chain style American eats place and it seems like they focus on drinks and appetizer themed dishes and portions.

So me and the wife are pretty big fans of TGIF, Thursday was her birthday, she wanted to go. We get there and it looked fairly slow, we waited in the hostess area for about 10 minutes, no line! Just no hostess.
Finally the hostess arrives and very quickly whisk us away to a table, ok no biggie. So we sat decided what drinks, a few minutes go by no waiter, we decide on appetizer and meal. Finally I check the time we’d been sitting for 25 minutes! Then I see another couple seated on the table next to us, and promptly the waiter come and take their order.
Me and the wife just got up and left, I would say terrible service; but we didn’t even receive that.

Our server was very attentive and polite. The free chips and salsa was very good. Free always taste great. The Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta was excellent. Buttered toast would have set it off perfectly but I did not want to pay extra. This should be part of the meal in my fugal humble opinion.

We enjoyed our experience at TGIFridays in Round Rock.
My husband and I were greeted at the door and went straight into the bar area to find a nice high top table. We were greeted promptly by one of the bartenders. I ordered a pomegranate berry Long Island iced tea and my husband ordered the regular Long Island from their happy hour menu. The drinks were brought to us quickly and they were delicious!
I ordered the 2 for $ 16 special and got the Tuscan spinach artichoke dip and the chicken and shrimp Alfredo pasta. My husband ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp. All of our food was hot and again, delicious.
The bartender was friendly and provided great service overall. We will definitely come back when we are in the area when I just need my Friday’s fix.

Took my little brother out to lunch. He ate off the kids menu and I got one of their lunch specials. We both had soft drinks as well.
3 stars for being pretty average with a higher price. I eat at chilis a lot and felt they had remarkably similar food with smaller portions at a higher price.
Not bad but I probably won’t be back.

Ambience blah. Hostess a young guy looks lost. Waitress bland. First impressions need more servers and no mgmt. presence.
Ordered unlimited apps and had a free app coupon for one free.
Sons lemonade took 10 min to bring to table.
Update: 445 pm no food, no urgency.
4;50 first round apps arrive, waitress rushes away saying I’ll take your second round on my way back
4:52 returns takes orders and says nothing.
Who trained this person? Or should I say who hired her? Unilocal should have video added to show these poor habits.

No mgmt presence anywhere, no leadership anywhere. Seen what appears to be a mgr talking about something

Placed another for skins and pot stickers at this time.
Tables I write about earlier are still dirty.
What’s astonishing is that in our time here no one was coming in. The hostess dude is the most lively person here.

Skins arrived and wow picture a sponge brought out from water and pushed down on. Well doing this to my skins brings out huge amount of oil/​grease. Saturated DO NOT O R DE R this item unless you have obamacare and want a triple bypass!
So it’s now 6:15 ask for check and of course it was wrong .
Staff should never question a paying guest why? In the long run the guest is always right. She went to adjust it.
Oh got a Togo box for extra potstickers and potato skins or should I say grease skins
$ 35 for $ 128 off appetizers 2 lemonades and a coke. While leaving i commended the host diamanté? Most vocal here.
Overall not worth 2 hrs for poor service and ambience. Pot stickers 5 stars

Came here for casual lunch with my friend! The service is pretty good and I like that they have a gluten free menu! I got the grilled chicken over spinach with a tomato & mozzarella salad! It’s pretty good for a light meal (around 450 cal)! Their burgers are pretty good too and the Jack Daniel’s grill menu is also good! I’ve had the rubes and shrimp and I would recommend it! Usually for lunch there isn’t a wait but I’m not sure about for dinner because this place is near the outlet mall so there may be a lot of hungry shoppers coming here!
Overall, I feel that TGI Fridays is like any other regular chain restaurant! Food is okay but not anything superr amazing. However the service is nice and it’s a good place for a casual meal! :)
