Taco Cabana

This place is discussing, Nasty food and the staff is horrible!!! Corporate needs to shut them down!! The night manager is an un professional ditz!!! The staff runs all over her!! Never will I ever go here to this location in Round Rock again!!!

Three times I have gone to this location n ordered the street tacos, all three times they didn’t have them. Why r they even on the menu. I have stopped in the morning to order their breakfast taco special n have had to wait over 15 minutes, for something they should have plenty of plus the have shorted my order. Looks bad when I don’t have enough for my Co workers.

Being new to Texas I figured I should try this place out once. That was more than enough. I don’t even understand how this place survives in an area with so much amazing and cheap Mexican options. Why are you going here, people of Texas? WHY?! This is even worse than taco bell!
Alright, rant over. Let’s talk about the food and service.
Food– gross. The chicken flautas weren’t awful. However, the rest of the plate was. Gross rice and refried beans that had no seasoning. Also, somehow every salsa in their salsa bar had a chemical taste as if they sprayed it with Windex before serving. I feel like at that point you have to try to make salsa taste that artificial and gross.
Service-​gross. The manager was a grumpy little woman. I guess I would be too if my salsas tasted like their’s.
Overall experience– gross.

This location gives this chain a bad name, can’t get orders right, very dirty, very rude and negligent employees don’t waste your time or dollar.

I have been here 3 times, and refuse to go back. I have gotten the same shredded chicken burrito each time I have come here and the presentation seems to only get worse. You would think that a Mexican restaurant would know how to wrap a burrito…
I always go through the drive through and today by the time I got home the burrito was leaking out of the bag. When I took it out, neither end was wrap and looked like a giant taco.
Whoever is managing this place seems to have no idea what they are doing.
I also noticed the area they were cooking in doesn’t look like it has been cleaned in a while. When I managed a food place when I was younger we would mop and clean the cooking area every night…
They have officially lost my business.

Just picked up some food from this location a few minutes ago came home and began to eat… The beans are horrible! They taste like burned water… Don’t know what burned water tastes like? Try the beans that are being served right now. I tried calling to let them know to switch them out before more people complain but their number is not in service. So… Here I am, making a public complaint. Get it together Taco C! Very disappointed.

Went to this location on Sat. and the food was nasty. The pico looked and taste like it had been there for days. I got the Cabana Plate and it was cold and tasteless. The beverage dispenser looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in forever and the entire place looked and felt very disgusting. I will never go again.

I ordered the Cheese Enchilada Plate (3) today. I sat in the drive thru line for over 25 minutes & when I got to the window, my food wasn’t even ready! Orlando the cashier was very rude. My «cheese» enchiladas had NO cheese, nothing, it was just tortillas. The rice wasn’t even cooked all the way, it was like trying to chew rocks.

I wish that I could give a negative star on this location!!! They mess up 90% of the time, are not friendly at all, it takes forever through the drive-​thru. A few weeks ago, I was in line at 7:06 and did not get through until 7:45. HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

I really love TacoC, but this location (4400 E Palm Valley Blvd
Round Rock, TX 78 664) needs to have corporate come in and address the multiple issues. Service, food quality, lack of cleanliness needs to be address right away. As for the teenagers for employees, this is an issue by the lack of management. The store AND the employees are not being managed correctly and something needs to happen. We will only be going to the one on I35 from now on until the issues have been addressed.
Obvious issues
Out of product — this is a complete joke to be out of product on the weekend. This is a clear indicator that the management is not looking at their forecasting and planning correctly.
Rude Service — Again, management issue for not mentoring the staff on how to deal with customers.
Dirty — Salsa bar, inside of restaurant, in the kitchen. It’s absolutely disgusting to go into a dirty restaurant. Plus, its obvious with the drive thru.
Employee Uniforms — Holes in uniforms are never acceptable. I don’t want to see the employees skin through holes in the shirt.
Inconsistent portions — Several occasions the fajita tacos might have 1 – 2 pieces of meat and others 6 – 7 pieces. Training needed.
Credit Card machine not working — Technology is a pain, but it wasn’t a corporate thing as the CC machine at the Round Rock I-​35 was working.
Not enough staff — Is it really acceptable to only have 2 employees working at 7:30pm on a Saturday night?

It’s literally been 30 minutes and all I ordered was a small drink. And I can’t just leave because of how the drive thru is. This is awful! AVOID!

Only two people working and then they couldn’t make half of the menu. Its only 730 on a Sunday night. Rude rude rude

Me and 4 of my coworkers visited this location for happy hour. None of our drinks were discounted and the guy checking us out said he’s new and didn’t know anything. On my order the guy did not ring it up right, and I got the wrong food. Not a great visit at all. Also I am tabc certified and the cashier didn’t even card me when I bought a beer.

Everything seem to be done half assed. Salsa bar was super sloppy, floor had food and napkins on it, drink area was a wreck. Food looked as if it was thrown on the plate. I know it’s fast food but I expected better.

There terrible I have tried there with my friend like 8 time we all got sick all 8 times don’t eat there ever its horrible

No steak fajita meat at a TC! Are you kidding me! Going thru the drive thru is a joke! Slooooow! Why can’t this location get it together!!!

There is something SO WEIRD to me about THIS Taco Cabana. IDK. Maybe I’m just so used to the one off 35, towards Pflugerville. but this one about this one I’m not liking.
I’ve never had BAD customer service here, and the food wasn’t ever messed up– I’m just against spending $ 28 for breakfast tacos because for every taco you add cheese to its like .30 extra, and every taco you add potatoes, to its an additional .30 or some shit. Killed it for me. The 6 I did end up getting, had cheese that didn’t even melt by time I got it home… And, NEVER get their nachos to go! By the time you get home, they’ll be dry and stale. I don’t get it.
So, Ill go for late night grub. Their flautas & spicy ranch are bomb. And a quick cheese enchilada is always good here. Just ALWAYS check your bags before you pull away.

Every time I go, there is something wrong with the food. It is either overly greasy, overly salty, or just plain nasty. Today I got fajita chicken that was like licking a salt slab. Disgusting. Tried to call the store at three different numbers (including one I got from corporate) and none of them worked. I used to like taco cabana in Houston, but this one is horrendous. I have tried this location over and over again, but they have officially lost my business.
