I enjoyed the Phở soup I had this weekend. The waiter was extremely professional. The Phở is reasonably priced. Large bowl with combination of meat $ 8. I want to go back & try the Lo Main.

I order from here a lot now. I love the phở and Gyoza. But I need to branch out to try other things. This has become my Sunday night ritual and the people here are so nice

Had dinner there tonight, asked for kids menu and inquired about there Tuesday night December kids eat free deal. The waitress said she had no idea & would check. She came back to tell us it was no longer going on. Funny as its on their website; Advertised for the whole month of DECEMBER! Just thought families expecting to save should know. However the food was really good, service kind of slow, weird since it was only us and one other table.

Love this place! My favorite is phở Thai. I come at least once a week. Great service and great food! Try the Thai tea. It’s yummy as well!

Service: they seem a little confused but I blame it on a particular waitress. I had to wait to be seated too long considering they were not busy. I had to wait for 10 minutes before I was even approached by wait staff. Considering I have an hour at lunch this is not a good first impression. Now I’m feeling I will be late back from lunch or I have to walk out. I love this type of food and hope the taste is good to make up for poor service. Btw this is a moment by moment review. Just witnessed another customer have to ask for a menu. Another set of customers had to ask for chop sticks. BTW non-Asian people like to use chop sticks. Again I blame this on a particular waitress. I am waiting for the food to see if it is worth the BS. I ordered PHO tai. At this point I have been here 30 minutes with no food. I no longer have time to wait. It’s not busy and it’s too slow. I really wish I had time to try the good but I can’t get in trouble at work. Now I don’t have time to even eat. This establishment has ruined my lunch. I do not recommend this place.

The food is absolutely delicious! The peppery shrimp is always phenomenal and the sesame chicken is also great. I highly recommend their food. I have eaten here for years and it’s always tasty! However, the person who greets people at the door and helps with pickup orders was not the best.

Finally got around to stopping in for ph, and yeah, I can see why there are always so many people getting it for lunch. It’s a good sized bowl and the broth is absolutely phenomenal. A generous portion of meat(I had ph tái) and noodles, plus plenty of fresh mix-ins. Pretty amazing. How lucky are we to have a place in Round Rock that does both amazing Chinese and really good ph? My only problem is that deciding what to order from here on out just got twice as hard.

This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve had since living in Austin. I haven’t tried any of the vietnamese items on the menu but would like to eventually. The service is pretty fast and really friendly. The only thing I can really think to complain about is that they don’t deliver to my zip code.

This splendid restaurant offers excellent food, unsurpassed service — and today I arrived during a special event! A beautiful 50th anniversary luncheon is in progress. I confess I wouldn’t have thought of Hao-Hao as a venue for special events, but I will now! The table settings are gorgeous, the party are being well attended and is obviously having a great time. Tonight there is a 30th Anniversary party for 80 people, with dancing. On to my current visit. My favorite server, Ms. Kennedy, recognizes me instantly, remembers what I enjoy(down to the coffee and water) and is quick to clarify when I deviate from my usual. This would not be remarkable if I were here every week, but I am never here more often than once every six weeks. Even the proprietress knows that I order some variety of tofu and one of the delicious coffees. Do you want a terrific experience? Go to Hao-Hao! Even if Kennedy is not available, you will be happy to discover this place. If Kennedy is available, ask for her. Just wonderful!

It’s been quite a while since we’ve been here and it was much better than the last visit. The lunch menu Round Rock chicken and moo goo gai pan were very good. The Round Rock was a little better, the wonton soup had nice flavor… wontons were just right, some places they taste like they sat in the broth all day… not here!

Right off 620 next to RR high school is a little Asian restaurant that serves up food specials for lunch under $ 10. My first experience was May 2013 meeting a co-worker for lunch. He and I are both«EATERS» of all sorts of cuisine. My emphasis on the word in the prior sentence is because there are few things we haven’t passed over gullets. The place is in a plaza next to a Mexican eatery and pizza shop I’ve yet to try so parking is a bit tight. I always check the lavatory in places because if it’s not clean(filthy) you can bet the rest of it is the same. I took a photo of the urinal… yeah I don’t care about your judgemental face of disgust! I’d never seen a place pour ice in the urinal and even to this day that thing still doesn’t work. I will say the establishment seems mostly clean. Okay so I was able to get some food lest I give a full report on the potty. I believe the food I had was decent. The portion size was plenty even for a big guy to carry you over to dinner. The flavor was decent and I’ve been back 2 or 3 times since. I recently visited on 8÷20÷2015 and notices they’re remodeling the place. I guess they’ll get everything together one day. The food seems to be consistent since my last visit and the prices haven’t budged much at all. If you want a place for some quick«Asian» food that won’t break the bank try them out.

Ordered take out. Good prices for lunch specials. Chinese style food was mediocre. Rice was mushy. Vietnamese style Phở was much better. Was very odd that they refused to take my order without giving a credit card number. It was only a $ 9 order??? The gentleman apologized when I picked up the food and questioned that practice. He said it was the owners policy. Overall. 2.5 stars.

Good place for a quick Phở break. I could see that many people who come here are regulars and they are known well by the staff. The day I came in, sadly, it seemed that the AC was not cooling well and being that I was in recovery from an illness; desiring some healing Phở, it didn’t help me a lot. I stayed and I ate and it was still good. I hope to return another day and give it another try for better stars and a rating when the AC is working better.

Just had it for the first time, definitely the best Chinese in Texas, rivals the Chinese I’ve had in Philadelphia New York. The beef sticks are amazing, the chicken fried rice has real identifiable chicken in it

I placed an order online for delivery. I called after I waited for an hour. They told me they had no record of my order, so I would need to place a new order. I told them that they charged my card, so how could they have no record of my order. They refused to deliver my food or refund my money. If you are into rude people stealing your money, then order from here.

Best we’ve ever eaten. This restaurant is actually a Vietnamese-Chinese fusion. Everything is made fresh, even the sauces. The owner is very nice and so is the rest of the staff. This was our first visit and we don’t live in the area so we don’t have any biased opinion toward the restaurant or its workers. My husband peeked into the kitchen to see how clean it was(we’re very picky about that) and he said it was very clean. We were there with 4 kids ranging from 6mos to 11 years and everyone was able to find something they liked. There’s nothing fancy about the décor, but it’s clean. The portions are just right. We ate off the lunch menu and there were plenty of choices. You won’t go wrong by trying this place. We will definitely be back when we come back through the area!

Just awful! Shocked at the good reviews as Unilocal is usually pretty accurate. But there were no good asian reviews or Asians in the restaurant, that should have been a sign to stay away. I ordered the vermicelli bowl. Very simple, fresh, Vietnamese dish; what I received appeared to be a bad Chinese interpretation of the dish. The noodles were not fresh and were oily. The chicken was dry like jerky and oily as well. I should have complained at the restaurant but I didn’t. The positives: the place was clean and the service was friendly. The owner did reply to my review and that shows that they care. Maybe caught them on an off day.

Had a amazon deal here, so tried it out. Can’t say the service was all that great and we had to ask for our soup after the entrée came out, but the food was really good. I had Mongolian beef and it was some of the best I’ve had. I would come back for the food, just don’t expect any extraordinary service.

DONOTGETTAKEOUT!!! We are long time local family that has been going here for over 8 years. Since the new ownership though we have seen the service go down hill. Thankfully the food is still the same but you can tell the only person that was kept by the new owner was the chef. Two out of the last three times our take out orders were missing food. The first time it was just an eggroll but this last time it was a WHOLEMEAL. Each time I had to drive back and get what was missing and both times I get rude service like it was my fault that my order was wrong. No apology nothing! I asked to speak to the owner or the manager and was told neither was there. I asked then who was going to lock the door at the end of the night and I get a smerky answer from the same girl«me». I really hate seeing this place go down like this because we really do love the food. It will be a while before our families go back any time soon.

Best. Sesame. Chicken. Ever. My girlfriend and I always order from here. Food is always quickly prepared, tastes consistent on different days and fairly priced. Plus, it’s nice and close to where we live. Can’t beat that!
