I love there food but when I wanted to purchase just a side of rice they wanted to charge me for another meal!

Steer clear of this place. I could write a cutesy review — but sometimes people just need a straight warning. 1. The oil my egg roll was fried in was stale. 2. The fortune cookie in a plastic bag was also stale. Considering that those things are meant to have a substantial shelf life — that cookie was probably very old. 3. I left the restaurant with the bad taste of super old cheapo chicken. There are unreliable suppliers who provide dubious chicken to some lower end Mexican and Chinese restaurants here in Texas. I suspect Beijing Express is one of their customers. 4. I was nauseous about fifteen minutes after I left the restaurant. I think I have said enough.

Not great. Passable. On the plus side I found a new gym in the same shopping center.

I just moved to this area. I was hoping to find good Chinese take out for those days I don’t feel like cooking after work. After trying their food, I would not recommend coming here! It’s flavorless and I wasn’t even sure I was eating chicken. I also got their Mongolian beef and it tasted like liver(gross) and it wasn’t even spicy. It had more bamboo shoots and mushrooms than beef. I rather waste my money at Panda Express. At least the food will taste good!

I’ve been here twice for lunch and I have to say they have a pretty good lunch special. I’ve only ordered the chicken with Broccoli, and so far I’ve enjoyed it. The wanton soup is pretty good too. On the flip side, the fried rice is not the best, it’s pretty plain, however, the sauce on the chicken made up for it. I did notice that the customer service is kind of blunt, but I think that is cultural rather than bad customer service. Overall I’d say the place is 3 stars, but I’m so happy to see a DECENT Chinese food place in Texas– that I threw in the extra star! As a tip the place is best for take out.

CHILDRENDENIEDWATER! The woman owner is beyond rude to customers. ZERO customer service. She denied my children water saying that they will spill it. My children are the most well-behaved kids. NOT messy eaters at all. She gave my wife 1 cup of water and said the kids could not have water. If they really wanted water, they would need to buy bottled water. I’m just flabbergasted. Even in the most run-down restaurants I’ve been to, I’ve never seen someone(especially an owner) who would deny WATER to paying customers. So why is she in a services business when she doesn’t like to provide service? Side note: my family could have left except for the fact that they were with some friends and their kids too. All the kids were settled in(parents — you know how it is), and you pay before the food comes out. I spoke with the owner, trying to understand why she denies children water. She immediately got defensive and started yelling at me. She kept yelling that she cleans up water, and cleans up water… Okay. Then, she grabbed bottle water and tried to shove them at me and said to pay for these. I stayed calm. I said I didn’t want bottled water, and why couldn’t the kids have a cup of water? She started to erupt and screamed at me to leave. I ask calmly why we cannot have a conversation. She yells at me, «NOCONVERSATION! GETOUT!» And then proceeds to say the letter«P» forcefully. Multiple times. I think she was trying to spit on me. Good thing she didn’t have much saliva. Probably due to not drinking water! =P I asked her, «P? What’s P?» She says she’s going to call the cops, and I said she should. Then, she grabs me by the shirt and starts to push me towards the door. I don’t touch her, but once it becomes physical, I say I’m going to call the police. Again, I’m maintaining my composure and just want to talk, but when it becomes a physical altercation, I do not condone violence. I walk out of the store. The other lady customer(who was inside while this whole thing went down) said I should definitely call the police. I do that. The boys in blue arrive. I explained to the officer what happened. He tells me to stay outside while he goes in. Then, a second officer arrives. I tell him the same story. The other woman customer starts telling us about 2 incidents that she has had with the owner as well, one of which was right before I arrived to the restaurant. The second officer goes next door to ask those owners about the Beijing Express owners. Turns out the Beijing Express owners are known for being highly irritable and rude. So it’s not just our experience, it’s everyones’. Not sure how many times it’s gotten this crazy where she’s actually gotten physical. To make a long story a little shorter, there was really nothing that could have been done(I guess I could have pressed charges, but I didn’t). The officers said just to not come back, and use online reviews(which I’m doing!) to share my experience. Business owners like this won’t last long in the industry. I thanked the officers – shout out to our local law enforcement! The woman customer outside said she was afraid to go back in to pick up her food. I told her good luck. She said the same to me.

Quick and fast. The portions are good sized too. It’s not expensive either, nice for a mom and pop spot. People are always nice to us when we pick up take-out.

The service was friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely horrible. The chicken in the dishes was super fatty and flavorless. The entire dish was drowning in sauce and the veggies were very overcooked.

Good food with nice size portions for the price. We get their dumplings and combination lo mien. They have good size shrimp and are not too stingy with it like some other places we have tried. It’s not the best Chinese I have ever had, but you get a lot of food for a fair price. I have had their hot and sour soup and was not that impressed. So it’s not something I get there.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today. Not good! We got chicken lo mein and General Tso with fried rice and hit & sour soup. Soup and lo mein were good. General Tso on the other hand was horrible. What a shame?!? How do you get General Tso wrong at a Chinese restaurant? We should have stuck to our main place — Fortune Garden… that’s what we get for trying a new place!

I had great service. They were very friendly and attentive. I ordered the lo mien. It was delicious and came in a huge portion. The place was simple and clean. I would definitely come back.

Another good take out visit. I always get the beef broccoli, & as usual, it was really good. Fresh with quality beef & the veg. cooked just right. Along with the egg drop soup, it was the perfect meal for a rare rainy evening.

Decent food, good portions. I’ve ordered for pick up on 4 occasions, trying 4 different dishes. The food is pretty run of the mill Chinese. Close to our home so it’s convenient for last minute Chinese dinner needs(ha). We would eat there, but they don’t have a high chair. And their credit card minimum is now $ 5.

I’m being kind with the 1 star. I ordered the sesame chicken for lunch take out. There was mostly only breading on the chicken, very little chicken inside the breading. The chicken had a taste to it that was very unpleasant, it tasted like it had been cooked in very old and dirty oil. The sauce thet covered the chicken with was beyond disgusting. For the prices they charge, which are competitive with other local chinese restaurant, they should up the quality of the food they sell. I will never go back there and will tell everyone I know that lives is this area to avoid this place all together, there are so many others that offer much better quality food for the same price.

Just ate at this fast food chinese restaurant. Very friendly owner. I had the shrimp & chicken w/veggies n eggroll. Good iced tea n also small cup of eggdrop soup. We asked for no rice due to cutting back on carbs. Was no problem at all. Gave my food a 3 star. My baby had sesame chicken. It was maybe a 2 star rating on his sesame chicken. Tasted a little wangy to us both. I would go back n try something else.

This place actually gets negative stars from me because I called and placed my entire order to have it delivered, once I was finished with everything, I was told that it cannot be delivered on Tuesdays because they didn’t have a driver. Big fan. Very close to my home and work so I eat here whenever I have a chineses food craving. Very clean and you can see into the kitchen. Very fast service and the food is great. They deliver to my home if I order 2 meals or more and they do not charge a delivery fee. I am a big fan of the kung pap chicken. I usually pick up(call ahead) and it is ready within 15 minutes.

Thursday, 8:10pm. Ordered Chicken with Garlic Sauce and steamed rice. The food wasn’t bad, but the décor was really boring. Is this a restaurant or a dry cleaners? The kid at the register was very off-putting. I went over planning on eating there, but by the time I had finished ordering, I just wanted to get out so I ordered to-go. At least the woman running the place was friendly, and the place seemed pretty clean. $ 10 minimum for credit cards. I wanted to pay with Amex, and the kid asked me if I had cash. They ran the credit card anyway, so I gave them a $ 1 tip to pay the merchant fee. Almost considered calling Amex and complaining, but at the end of the day I know that they’re just trying to put dinner on their own table. Fast food joint format(no table service, apparently).
