Lamers Bus Lines Inc

Many months ago I contracted with Lamers for two motorcoaches to transport guests from 2 hotels to my daughter’s wedding. Though the buses were clean and arrived to the hotel on time, that was pretty much the only thing that went according to plan. The drivers had not researched the route so what should have been a 20 minute drive took 45 minutes causing for late arrivals. Also, the drivers took it upon themselves to change the agreed upon schedule, tried to stop service an hour early, and left us with 70 people at midnight trying to ride a 55 passenger bus.
I could go on and on about the poor performance of the drivers that evening, and the fact that many of my guests commented that they hoped I hadn’t paid too much for that level of service — especially given that I am a corporate event/​meeting planner!
I think possibly the worst of all was that the Manager responded to my complaints by pretty much saying the drivers were just being flexible and it was bad weather. Clearly this is their service standard instead of customer satisfaction. Whatever you do, if your occasion is important to you, do NOT trust Lamers to get you to your destination!
