I had read good reviews and took the chance. We walked in for early dinner and were the only ones there. Within 15 mins several others were coming in as well. burger was great. I recommend the Rheas’s special on French bread. We will be back for sure.

Had a serious craving for a Philly yesterday. A coworker and I ended up at this place. Very nice and clean inside. Very reasonable prices. And the cheesesteak was very good. It was just missing… a little something. I don’t know what. It had onions, mushrooms, and peppers and such. It was good, but just… Yeah, not sure what was lacking. Sorry if this sounds vague, but you know how food is sometimes.

Tried this place for lunch with some co-workers. The menu is very simple, you basically get a burger, a philly, or a BLT. The options for sides are pretty limited to, I think it was just fries, onion rings, and coleslaw. Between my table, we sampled almost the entire menu and all thought the food was great! Don’t be fooled by the simple looks of this place or the low menu prices, it is very good! Rating 4⁄5 only because the service wasn’t that great and we had to wait a while to pay our bill.

This has become my «go-to» burger joint… for just that… a burger and fries. Nothing fancy… REALLY nothing fancy… but…just an outstanding burger with decent fries. I get the Special Burger… which is two patties with lettuce, tomato, onion on Texas Toast as opposed to a bun. Just get it their way… and do not fight it… Did I mention that it was just a GREAT burger… the fries are crinkle fries that have been frozen. They do a good job of preparing them, but, they are basic fries… nothing more or less. I told you that it is a GREAT burger, right? I am sure… at this point… you get the idea…

This place was a pleasant surprise. It’s definitely a dive and nothing fancy about it. I mean, your food is served on a styrofoam plate. The menu is simple but the burgers are great and staff is super friendly. This was my first time so I’ve only had the Special Burger and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ll definitely be going back. I would say it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had in Roswell without having to spend a ton for a gourmet burger. Don’t think about it. Just do it.

Basically the best burger I had in a long time. And the crazy thing is, it’s nothing fancy. I mean, there isn’t some 100 year old cheese, or fancy sauce or the meat’s been tenderized for a week. Nope. Just straight burger, with some fixings and mayo. But, my god, this place nails it, every time I go there. I mean, it’s delicious! I know they put butter on the french toast bread, but I can’t even taste that. Something about the crisp veggies, and the burger being cooked just right? I don’t know. Just the simplest burger done right. If you have a burger this good, who cares about service or anything else? Hell, I’ll take the burger and eat at the parking lot if that’s what took to eat a burger here. Fries were really bad though. Obviously frozen before, and you can taste it. But the special burger, wow!

Truly wonderful! Rhea’s really does have the best burgers in all of Roswell! My family enjoys going to all 3 locations, but this one is our favourite! The service is great, and the food is just as perfect as it’s other Rhea’s locations.

So good! I had a basic burger and fries with a drink. Not much to say except it was very good, and I thought reasonably priced. Everything’s totally made to order. Staff was super nice. Not a ton of seating, but when I was there, there weren’t many people anyway. They have a lot outside for the strip mall so there’s plenty of parking.

3.75 stars. Yeah, this is a greasy spoon kinda place, but if you want a decent handmade burger without all the glitz, well, Rhea’s 2 is your place. You’ll be greeted with friendly service in a coffee-shop atmosphere. Old school. This ain’t no Burger Fi. But then again Rhea’s burger will stack up nicely, if not plainly, against its nouveau competitors. And at about half the price(less than $ 9 for double meat Rhea’s special burger, fries. and a drink). At the grill you’ll see handmade, fresh burgers being cooked up. I ask for grilled rather than raw onions. No problem. The Rhea’s special burger comes on sliced bread while the regular burgers come on the traditional buns. Nothing fancy. Just good burgers. It would be nice to have hand cut, fresh fries that rival the freshness of the hamburgers. Unfortunately you’ll find only 3.5 star frozen crinkle cut french fries. Not bad, but they could be so much better! If you’d prefer, get the onion rings. Drinks are standard fountain fare with the addition of house made sweet tea. So Rhea’s offers great value in a homey atmosphere. Not an impress-your-date place, but a good, friendly place to grab a no nonsense lunch.

I came here after passing this place hundreds of times and finally gave it a try because of reviews. I would surely say it meets the criteria of a hole in the wall. The environment is slightly dingy and only moderately clean, but most of all, it just feels old and run-down. The only staff member was very friendly and welcoming. He seemed to wear all the hats for this location, but then again, I went at an off hour. I ordered a Jimmy Rhea double which is a cheeseburger on hoagie bread and got fries and a drink. The fries were total crap — just frozen, out-of-bag crinkle fries with no seasoning, but honestly that’s okay. I came for the burger. It wasn’t half bad. If I had to compare, the flavor was similar to a Five Guys burger. That said, the price was fair(I think I paid $ 8.80 for burger, fries, and drink), but was it really any better than Five Guys; let alone another burger joint? Not in my estimation. I’ll sum it up: nice help, garbage ambiance, average food, fair price. Maybe I’ll try another of their locations.

Best burgers in Roswell? Meh… It was good, not the best. Everything is a la carte and adds up quick to make this place a little pricey for what it is. Patties are small so you have to get a double. I’ll probably go again but don’t go in looking for the best burger in Roswell.

The special cheese burger is delicious. I gave only 4 stars due to it being like 85 degrees inside. If I were ranking only the food it would be 5 stars!

4 Stars For A Cheap Great Home Cooked Meal ! Love This Place & Your In & Out In No Time ! If They Slightly Seasoned Their Meat They Would Definitely Get 5 Stars From Me No Doubt ! Either Way I Love This Place & It’s Way Better Than All Those Other High Priced Fancy Burger Joints Out There. Oh ! & The Crushed Ice They Have Is The REALDEAL !!!

This place is great. First, if you are looking for high class, keep on looking. This is a hole in the wall joint, but they do you right. The staff is super friendly, and seems pretty good at remembering regular’s orders. The food was delicious. Just a good ol’ diner style flat top burger with fresh toppings and a soft sesame seed bun. The fries, like others have stated, are just frozen krinkle fries, but they cook them just right. The sweet tea is also pretty good. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger on a bun(you can get it on french bread, think BBQ style break slices). The bacon was crispy and yum, burger cooked just right and the toppings were all fresh and crisp. I’ll definitely be back to try out their philly, which looks awesome, and Chicken sandwich.

A very diner style place. I am still unsure if you order at the counter or sit down and they come to you since the place was super small. Lol. I’ll try to remember to ask my friend that I came here with and update this review… If I can remember… Hehe. Anyway… The Philly cheesesteak was delish! The bread was soaked with all sorts of things like cheese, mayo, and the meat’s juices. Yes, you have to have the mindset that it’s going to be a greasy lunch… Hey, I came here with guys so does that explain why I’d be eating here?! But, it was good nonetheless since it was cooked after the order was put in. Do get the onion rings as well. :) I heard the burgers were also a good choice. There were also hot dogs and sandwiches to choose from. There are 2 other additional locations if this location happens to be closed(on Sunday?). There will be some information on the store front’s window. The parking lot here was small as heck. Just saying…

Well first thing, appearance; small, store front shopping mall. When you walk in you see a little mom and pop style restaurant but DONOT let that intimidate you, in my experience, those are the best places to grab a bite to eat. There are a few tables and a high top bar to sit at, an open grill behind the bar where you can see your order being cooked up fresh right in front of you, and a menu at every table so just sit on down where you’d like. The menu is short and sweet as to not be too confusing but still has enough options to suit most any hungry foodie walking in. On to the good stuff, THEFOOD. The menu is set up perfectly as #1 is a ‘Jimmy Rhea’s Special Burger’ which is basically your standard hamburger and fixin’s on french bread rather than a bun. After eating here I believe almost every burger should come on french bread. The buttered up, crispy bread with a slight hint of garlic pairs so well with the hamburger. Absolutely exquisite in my opinion. The fries are your standard Ore-Ida Crinkle Cuts but trust me, you’re after the burger here. Finally on to price, you can’t beat it! I got a double burger on French bread, a side of fries, and a drink for $ 8.80! A McDonald’s greasy #4(Double Quarter Pounder) meal costs more and still doesn’t come on that delectable french bread sandwich bun. If and when I am in Roswell around lunch time again, I will MOSTDEFINITELY be stopping in here for another meal. Maybe even two! 5 stars, I’m impressed.

I wouldn’t say that Rhea’s has the best burgers that I’ve ever eaten, but they have the best burgers that I’ve had in memory. Srsly, it’s nothing fancy – matter o’ fact, you could call it spartan – but these burgers point and laugh at the burgers slung at highfalutin joints that charge twice as much. There is no comparison. I see that some folks ding Rhea’s because the fries aren’t «real» or whatever. Whatever, indeed. For frozen crinkle-cut fries, they’re done just fine. I go to eat the burgers. I’ve only ever had chili cheese dogs(better than the V) and the Rhea’s Special on Tejas Toast. I’ve wanted to try other items, but when you’re hungry, you stick with what you know will fill the void. Fresh and crisp veggies(except for the tomatoes, which are sufficiently ripe and fresh, but not crispy), the bread is fresh, and everything that is supposed to be hot, is. The drink refill routine is strange, as the fountain drink machine is *right there*, but it seems that you need to wait for the staff to come around and refill it for you. The nice lady switched my cup for somebody else’s last time because of the confusing manner in which the cups are collected and delivered. Outstanding burger value and simply outstanding burgers, period. When I am in Roswell, I always hanker for Rhea’s. You should try it out, if you’ve never been.

Humble but dynamite. I ordered the cheeseburger on French bread. The bread is grilled, like the burger. It comes with lettuce, tomoto, mayo, mustard and ketchup. The closest facsimile to the Rhea’s burger is the burger on white bread served by Rotier’s in Nashville… which is also a mind-bender, BTW. This is the type of burger I grew up on. Grilled patty… not a char-grilled demi-steak. So juicy, chewing is optional.(I’m not serious. That’s exaggeration… in case anyone chokes and tries to sue me.) The ONLY reason I’m not issuing a 5-star review is that I ordered without fries, but got fries and was charged for them. They were very good. I ate them thinking they were comped.(And no, I don’t believe in Leprechauns either.)

News flash: this Rhea’s location now takes credit cards. Gasp! I went to the ATM to grab some cash before making a stop at Rhea’s after having to trek out to Roswell/Alpharetta to do a bit of shopping. Imagine my surprise when I see a sign on the cash register saying that they accept credit cards(except AMEX — sorry!). The guy working there started laughing at me when I took a picture of the sign. I’ve been hearing a lot about the various Rhea’s locations over the past few weeks and wanted to check it out since I was in the area. My shopping companion was agreeable to partaking in a burger feast with me. We both ordered the Jimmy Rhea’s special cheese burger. She got a single patty and added bacon along with a large order of fries. I got the double patty with regular fries. The burgers came out on toasted/buttered french bread goodness loaded as we ordered them. The cheeseburger was definitely worth the drive. It had great flavor and was high on the grease factor. Definitely not the healthiest thing but it hit the spot after braving the hordes of little girls at the American Girl Doll store. The fries are your average crinkle cut fries. Nothing to write home about there. But the burger is very good. And cheap. This place gets 5 stars because I was still commenting on the burger after I got home.
