I have seen J’s Buffalo Wings location while driving in Lawrenceville, but never realized there was one in Roswell too. I dropped by during lunch to the location and realized how busy it was! Almost every table was taken, primarily very hungry males there for the wings. I chose to try he fried rice that other Unilocal reviews mentioned. It was great fried rice and the large portion cost $ 6 and some change. It was worth the price. I chose to have my order be take out and the process was quick and efficient. **Edit** the wings are not all too good. I had the 10 piece combo with fries for lunch with lemon pepper and hot sauce. The lemon pepper sauce was very oily, but savory. The chicken itself was poor quality though. I would stick to the chicken fried rice even though the name of the place is J Buffalo Wings…

Wings are really good, and great price! Not a big fan of rice though. They were ready in 15 minutes too

This is by far the best J Buffalo location I have been to yet. They are always super busy during lunch so call ahead with your order if you’re in a rush. The turkey burger is my favorite. It is made from scratch and seasoned all the way through. No preformed patties here.

Pretty decent place. The food is a good value. I ordered the Gyro combo with came with a gyro, side of fried rice, and drink for $ 10. The place has around 10 TVs so if you want to watch a game or sports they’ll probably have it on. The gyro was really good and I ate half the fried rice, taking the rest home. The fried rice is ok, nothing special. I thought it was odd how fried rice came with most of their combos instead of fries but I chock it up to something that makes the place unique. My only critique is that the staff could be more attentive. They seemed more interested in chatting and hanging out with each other than giving prompt attention to the customer.

I heard about J Buffalo from a friend, and decided to finally check it out. I had the philly cheese steak sandwhich with fries and 5 honey bbq wings. My Wife had the gyro with fries and 5 honey bbq wings. All I can say that we were both pleasently surprised. The wings were cooked to perfection, the sandwich was extremely good. The fries were crispy and good, and the price was reasonable. The service was fast and good(no long wait for my food), waiters were very friendly. I would recommend J Buffalo to all who read this review. Stop by there and check them out. Trust me, you won’t be sorry. My Wife and I will definitely be ordering J Buffalo’s again.

Fried rice & wings??? Sounds incredibly odd, but it works perfectly together. There are not a lot of options for wings in Roswell/Alpharetta. Especially if you are looking for affordable takeout. J Buffalo Wings are very juicy & full of flavor and their fried rice makes it a perfect combo.

I would have been eating at this location for about 2 years now. They had went through a management change and there was a young man who was in charge for a while and he left. The new guy did not take care of the customers as well and I felt the food quality was not as good. The last time I visited I saw the young man back behind the counter again. I overheard him talking to another gentleman saying that he have left for a while but the owners had asked him to come back. I like this location the overall quality is good I get the wings and the fried rice. I thought it was an odd combination but once I had it I have not gone back.

I ordered the mild hot wings and fries and I was disappointed, the wings were dry!!! However the restaurant was clean so that’s a plus.

Went here for lunch on Friday. Pretty good wings and fried rice. I tired the garlic parmesan but they weren’t saucy enough for me so I will order another flavor next time. The fried rice was good and plentiful although I am not used to having peas, onions and a lot of vegetables in it. We’ll be back, it was affordable and delicious.

A lot of food for a very reasonable price. Some may not like the wings some may do. I happened to love my wings fried hard and that’s exactly how they cook them. The wings are good but if you don’t like them fried hard this ain’t ur place. I tried the braised wings, the Gyro, and philly cheese steak. I enjoyed all of it. The combo comes with fried rice of your choice of fries.

Best wings and fried rice combo in the area. I normally do not like fried rice in places like this because of the low bland quality but this place cooks it fresh to order using the freshest ingredients. Try the honey garlic wings.

If you want cheap but made to order and variety, this place fits the bill. We got 20 wings, shrimp fried rice and a drink for under $ 19.00, that is a deal. The wings are pretty good… not M. J’s good but for being in the burbs, best I’ve had so far. The shrimp fried rice was better than I thought it would be. It wasn’t oily, greasy, hard or bland. Plus they give you quite a bit of it. Over all I gave it 4 stars due to quality, price, friendly staff, and it’s clean.

Had the hot braised wings and rice. The wings were awesome… sweet and spicy. The only negative about the wings is that they gave me ALL drums. You would think I had ordered it like that, but I prefer the flats. They had an excellent flavor and just the right crispiness. The rice was okay, but kind of dry. I will return. Now the Lawrenceville location… I will not return, I hated the customer service.

I got the 10pc wing and fried rice special. $ 10 bucks for wings, load of rice, and drink is a pretty good deal for the most part. I thought the fried rice was great. The only reason why I can’t give this place a 5 star is because my wings were a little small though they were cooked well — nice crispy, hot, and well sauced. But in my experience, it seems that poultry prices fluctuate all the time so I am sure they will have bigger wings when I come back another time. I will be sure to update the review then. Best thing about this place is how clean and orderly this was place as mentioned in other reviews. Being at clean and nice doesn’t happen on accident. Especially at a cheap wing/café food place. Kudos to them, that kind of services makes me want to come back and support their business. Also a quick tip — Because they make your meal to order, it seems many people call ahead and pick up especially if you are getting wings.

I was referred to this place by my friend who works in the same strip mall this restaurant is located… I ordered a chicken fried rice they give you a really healthy amount of chicken fried rice with lots of delicious mixed veggies… I had a mix up on my order first time I went there… which was a small error the manager and I got everything straight… He is very friendly and customer focus… I love the chicken fried rice… it is delicious… excellent food and I will be going back again …

Clean and obviously well-managed. We ordered a sampler which pretty much covered their menu, which features an eclectic combo of gyros and chicken wings. That kind of a mix implies lack of authenticity, but we liked it. The wings were really good, although small. Lady Jane liked the gyro and fries. The memorable thing was how clean and organized the store was. Even the drinks in a cooler behind the counter were lined up perfectly like little tin soldiers. The manager went over my order, item-by-item. Not a knock-your-socks-off wing place, but definitely worth a try.

Don’t sleep on this place. I came in with low expectations since they serve such a wide range of food. Staff is very friendly, professional and efficient. I would rate their wings as one of the top 5 I’ve tasted in the metro Atlanta area and I consider myself a crafty wing vet who will go to great lengths to find a good wing establishment. I’ve since branched out and tried a few other food items and all are exceptionally good. This place gets busy during lunch so I would call ahead for to go orders but seems to die down more for dinner. When I am close by I try and stop here. Great food!

Since the first review dates back to 2011, I have definitely overlooked this place. I decided to give it a try. I noticed on the menu from the website, the J. Special. It includes 10 wings and fried rice. That also comes with celery and a choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing and a 20 oz. drink. Lemonade, punch and tea were available, in addition to sodas. There are several wing flavors and fried rice choices available. I chose lemon pepper wings and if I eat fried rice with wings, it is usually vegetable fried rice. The vegetable rice was good and it tasted fresh. I could not tell by looking at them however, I was also glad to find out that the wings were not too crispy. They were just right. The service was good also. I called in my order and it was ready when I arrived. Before I paid for my order, the cashier showed to me my food first to verify. Burgers, Gyros, sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks, salads, shrimp and fish are available on the menu also. Less than $ 10 for 10 wings, fried rice and a drink is a good value.
