I must say, I was a bit hesitant to try an Indian restaurant that I wasn’t familiar with, but as soon as I tasted the goat kurma I knew I was in the right place! The setting is very intimate, but still a good place to have lunch with a friend. I had the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, the goat kurma, and sizzling tandoori chicken. My server asked if I wanted mild or spicy, and I said spicy of course. The flavor of the food was spot on compared to other Indian restaurants that I frequent in the Atlanta area. The tandoori chicken came out sizzling to the table, which I had never experienced before. I even had the option of all dark meat for my tandoori chicken, and it was so delicious. The really interesting thing about the entire experience is that the sweet tea was really tasty as well. I think it had an «Indian kick» to it. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the north Fulton area and are in the market for some great Indian cuisine.

I wish I had read the most recent reviews. This was most definitely the worse Indian food, I have ever had. We ate the lunch buffet several dishes tasted the same you know they were different only by the color. If on a buffet the thing you like best was the naan brought to your table that is a problem. All the food tasted.bland.the mint sauce was good but a condiment should. not out shine the food. We got water poured and had to ask for new glases there white debris. floating in the water. I believe they Americanized the food down and it tastes like. nothing…if we had not had a coupon I would have pitched a fit… believe me lesson learned on this none Indian Chef.

Wow… I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food in my time and I have to say that India Chef is hands down the worst. Honestly, don’t be fooled by the other reviews. Go to Bombay Flames instead. The food and value there is light years ahead of this place. I read all the reviews and it seemed promising so I’m very disappointed in the food and value. We ordered two chicken tikka masala(one mild, one medium), two orders of veg samosas, veg pakora, chicken tikka and two orders of garlic naan. Let’s talk value first. The order listed above cost just over $ 70. Not bad considering the amount of food we ordered for our family. Wrong! Both orders of chic tikka masala came in a small container and each one literally contained only seven bites of chicken exactly. The chicken tikka order was only two small leg/thigh pieces(for $ 13!) and the veg pakora was about eight little balls of mostly fried batter. The rice was plentiful though. Now onto quality & taste: I knew as soon as I pulled the tikka masala out of the bag it wasn’t going to be good. It was way too thin. Like Campbell’s tomato soup but without the flavor. Seriously it was SOO bland and not spicy at all. Even the medium had no flavor or heat. The chicken tikka was equally flavorless and very dry. Samosas were ok but likely came out of a freezer box. Pakora was literally fried dough balls. Good thing the portions were so small because we didn’t feel badly about throwing the leftovers away.

Great lunch special! For about the same amount of money I would spend at a fast food chain I got multiple courses and delicious food. They really know how to pace your meal here too. The next course always came right as we were finishing the current one. Excellent! I will be back again and again! If you are looking for something different for lunch this is it.

This place is, by far, the best Indian Food in town. Great food, fantastic service, and a phenomenal atmosphere make this restaurant one of my all time favorite Roswell spots. Just make sure you come hungry, because they got you covered on that.

My girlfriend introduced me to this place a week ago, even though I’ve lived in the Roswell area for many years now. I’ve been here four times in the past week now, three for lunch, and once for dinner. They have one of the best lunch specials in Roswell. A large portion of very, very good and authentic Indian cuisine at an unbelievable price(under $ 8-$ 10 per person). Definitely check this place out. One of the best kept secrets in Roswell.

Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had anywhere around here! I’ve been eating here for years. I have introduced several friends to India Chef and have turned every single one into frequent diners. Great service and atmosphere. You really can’t beat their lunch special, either!

My girlfriend took me here for my first time. In short: it was a delicious experience. We ordered chicken dansk and chicken tikka masala and naan. All of the food was delicious. The tikka masala sauce was delicious. The naan was cooked perfectly. The spiced hot tea was the best that I have at a restaurant. The leftovers were great for lunch the next day. I will definitely go back again.

I placed an order to go from here the other day. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and some Chicken Korma(medium hot) along with some naan. I found the place to be busy with a good lunch crowd. My order was ready about five minutes after I arrived and it was still hot by the time I served it to my Uncle. We both very much liked the flavors of these dishes, and the Chicken Korma had some decent heat(it was perfectly medium hot). In fact, I might suggest the Korma was the real winner between the two. Both dishes were good. My to-go order came with a good quantity of rice. And the naan was very nice. A little soft, just the way I like it. Excellent for picking up some of those extra sauces on your plate. I have a feeling I’ll be doing more repeat business here. Holler if you’re coming with.

This place is such a hidden gem. Very inexpensive. Buffet style option. Staff is very attentive. Food is awesome. Food isnt too spicy at all(although they do have sauces to put on your food to heat it up). For some reason the place is almost always empty(or at least it is on sundays around noon). I try to come here at least once a month.

Great Indian place. We’ve actually never been inside, but the delivery is free if you spend $ 25 or more. We’ve ordered delivery several times now and we really enjoy it. Always fast, good prices, and great food.

If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Indian cuisine, look no further! My boyfriend and I initially tried this place through Scoutmob and have now become regulars. They have the best lunch special in town, which includes soup, entrée, side vegetables, naan, and dessert. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, and they have something delicious for any and everyone on their menu. Definitely check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

Food is typical Indian food. Good but nothing that special. I always feel like Indian restaurants are over priced. The service was excellent until we were waiting to receive our checks in which they were extremely slow, unorganized, and awkward. My group got there at 8 pm and left around 9:30 and the whole time we were the only ones in the restaurant which is always a little uncomfortable. Not sure why they are open until 10 pm bc they had 1 table at that hour. So overall decent food but not worth trying

Would give 3.5÷5, but Unilocal only wants whole stars, so here goes. The boyfriend and I were watching Gordon Ramsay’s show where he had two Indian chefs battling against each other. This sparked an intense craving for Indian food. We looked on Eat24(I had a coupon) and saw this place had delivery. Score. We ordered the Chef Set for 1(which included chicken tikka, chicken 65, lamb curry, aloo matar gobi, rice, naan, kulfi, and tea) as well as extra naan and samosas. The chicken tikka was slightly dry and underseasoned, however, the side of masala sauce i ordered was out of this world(some of the best masala I’ve had). The chicken 65 was a little underseasoned as well and chewy. The lamb curry was tender, well seasoned and well cooked. The aloo matar gobi was probably my favorite dish(which I didn’t anticipate, as I typically don’t eat vegetarian options). It was very well seasoned and slightly spicy. The vegetables were all well cooked and in decent portions. The samosas were very greasy and the filling wasn’t spectacular. The kulfi’s consistency was off,. but very tasty. From a service standpoint, they forgot the chicken 65 from our delivery and originally gave us pistachio kulfi instead of the mango we ordered. I wound up driving to the restaurant to have it fixed. They were very courteous and fixed it right away. Will go again for the lunch buffet. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.

I ordered take-out from here recently. I mentioned to the server that the last time I visited India Chef was when they were located in a plaza on Alpharetta Hwy. The accessibility to this place is probably why I avoided it. However, India Chef can be accessed from the back, after navigating between the buildings in the adjacent plaza. Seven years later… I called ahead and my food was ready when I arrived. I ordered Tandoori chicken and fried rice. The fried rice is prepared with peas, onions, egg and butter. The chicken came with a side of rice however, I declined since I ordered the fried rice. The fried rice was okay; it did not taste as good as I expected. This was the first time I ordered fried rice from an Indian restaurant. The Tandoori chicken was good, but the portion was smaller than I am used to getting from other places.
