Stopped by to pick up a new coin battery for my Mazda 3 key, planning to take it home and pour over the instructional videos I’d found online to replace it myself (it’s an odd key). What happened instead was the guy took my key, popped it open, flipped the old battery out, got a new one, put it in, clicked it shut, and handed it back when the words «I need a 1620 battery» were barely out of my mouth. I tested it, and… hooray! It worked! The whole process took maybe a minute, and I didn’t have to do anything except pay and thank him profusely. Awesome stuff.
