This shop is full of arrogant, self-righteous, indignant barbers who are not afraid to treat their customers as such. They aren’t saving lives. They are cutting hair. The people at the front desk have been rude to me more than once. I have been to barbershops all around Atlanta, black ones, white ones, Latino ones, and no one has treated me like this ever. I’d rather go to Sports Clips then give this shop my money. If you do go here, only go to Joe. He’s the only decent gentleman there. The rest are fake hipster wannabes You can see from my other reviews that I have given other barbershops 5 stars

Talent. Gentlemanly comaraderie. In and out in 30 minutes or less. Good price. Fun.

American Haircuts is so on point! Legit hair cutting skills with an old school vibe and a superior service experience which, makes us Gents feel special. Check them out!

Nice barber shop. I went there for the first time yesterday, the barber was extra throughout and took his time. At the end he took a straight razor and cleaned up the back of my neck without me even asking! It was a great experience.

Well, they certainly are not friendly or welcoming. After several times at Sport Clips and others, my lady convinced me to check this place out. I walk in and the place is empty. The guy that greets me never smiles and doesn’t even seem particularly glad to have a customer. More like a linebacker personality than a hair cutter. The guy sitting in his chair at his station looked over at me and his expression looked like a Jersey mafia thug. Not a warm vibe here. Then the place is empty but they tell me it’s a half hour wait and I have to come back? Huh? So I have an appt. later, but can’t decide to even go back or not… if so, I’ll write a follow up on the actual cut.

I have been going to this place for several years and every barber has been great, though I do have a favorite :-). You can make reservations on their website(which is mobile friendly), get a neck shave and a warm hot towel to top it all off. As if that weren’t enough, be prepared to laugh, one of them is sure to do something funny while you’re there! Great relaxing atmosphere; definitely the best place in town to get an awesome haircut!

For me the challenge with my haircut is for a guy, there isn’t that much to it. But the problem with a traditional barber shop is there is nothing to it. When a place highlights the shave more than the haircut it doesn’t really work for me as I couldn’t grow a beard even if Moses personally asked me. The other end of the spectrum is a salon. They will take the care to give a good haircut but paying north of $ 30 for what isn’t all that complicated is hard to stomach. American Haircuts may be the nice sweet spot in between. It is as involved as a salon, but it isn’t as basic as a traditional barber shop. The prices are in between as well, $ 22 for a basic cut. It was fairly quick, a relaxed vibe and a decent price. The Band This Place most resembles: Anything from the musical Sheer Madness

Prices are high for what you get. Plenty of other barbers in town who will do the same with better service and cheaper prices. Save your money.

Best Men’s Haircut in town, hands down! You will pay a little more than the chain hair salons but it’s absolutely worth it and the free in between neck trims are incredible. HIGHLY recommend.

Nice place around the corner from where I live to get a nice cut. Robert was great to talk to and did a good job on the cut. Thanks for the Unilocal discount for first timers.

Best place for a man to get a real cut. They even offer free adult beverages while you wait.

This place is hands down the best Men’s grooming joint in the city. I was referred here a couple years ago when I moved to Roswell and I havent ever thought about going anywhere else. A throwback to the barbershop days, it mixes that chic urban feel with classic chairs, razor shaves, and a very comfortable atmosphere. Cory is still my favorite, but they are all skilled and entertaining. Haircuts are fairly priced at $ 20 and the online, same-day reservation system makes getting in and out a breeze. If you are a guy looking for a consistent, fun place to get the locks trimmed… you have to stop by American Haircuts.

This locally owned barbershop(soon to have a second location in midtown Atlanta) is unlike any other I’ve used. Their web site allows reservations and lists backgrounds on all the barbers. They have a concierge, WiFi, popular music and their barbers are very personable. Most of all, their rates are quite reasonable; a haircut is currently $ 20. It’s not snooty, they don’t serve wine or put on airs. If you’ve been paying $ 30+ for a haircut at some salon, you’ve got to check this place out or at least check out their web site.
