I have it 2 stars because the seating person was very nice and friendly accommodated our desire to sit outside. FOODONTHEOTHER hand was below average. The soap and appetizer came all at the same time so ofcourse main course was cold by the time we got to it. Waiter was friendly. Again staff ok good below average food. Over cooked shrimp. Crab cake from freezer and and dry fish. Not for me. I’m pick eater and like my seafood done just right.

This is my go to spot for lunch. About $ 10 for a Greek salad with two chicken kabobs. I feel like it’s such a good deal and I never leave hungry. The plate is so much more than I can handle. although I do love this place, the only thing i wish was a little better was the chicken kabobs. I feel like they can taste better but truthfully, I don’t really mind it too much. Parking is pretty open and service is extremely quick.

This place is great. Good food and prices. I WISH I didn’t have to sit there being subjected to the annoying rap radio station they seem to always play. Does anyone agree?

My girlfriends and I come to this Wild Fig every week. We have tried other establishments but find that for the price and speedy service there is not another place that offers the quality and quantity that Wild Fig offers. I always have the ½ salad, ½ bulgur, ½ chicken skewer, ½ Falafel, and with four additional sides plus choice of dressing you can’t go wrong. Often times when I can’t finish my plate I will bring it home and my kids or husband polish it off. Sometimes the falafels harden because they have been sitting a bit too long. The staff are always accommodating when I let them know and will give me fresh falafels when they are ready. There are so many choices it is challenging to know what to get but don’t let that stop you, that’s part of the fun.

My new fave is their felafel, even better than the chicken skewers!

I love this place! Addicted would probably be a good word to use. I go here regularly & always get a salad. It’s like a Greek version of chipotle, in the way the line is set up. Fresh, fast and affordable. $ 10 will get you a giant, filling salad with a piece of pita break(regular or whole wheat) and your choice of sauce. I always get the chicken meatballs, and the yogurt sauce. They have vegetarian choices and Pides(for the boyfriend) which is essentially a Greek personal pizza. Casual dine in or take out, they serve alcohol & recently started a rewards program. I go here 1 – 4 times a month and strongly recommend it, especially for healthy food on the go!

Five stars even though this place is just so confusing. I mean can you please have a better display of the menu? or what food you are choosing from? So confusing ! But overall it was insanely delicious. the chicken kabobs were soft, the sauces were mouthwatering and the rice was the perfect level of soft. Highly recommended!

If you enjoy the Wild Fig in Glen Cove, do not go here. We ordered the the Greek Salad via take out and it is nothing like the one in Glen Cove, the chicken was dry and tasteless, the pita chips tasted like they were months old, and the portions were considerably smaller. Blech, never again. The owners of the Wild Fig need to do some secret shopping to get an idea how bad this really is.

Not a bad place, turkish/greek food with a sort of Chipotle-like ordering process thing. Still, very tasty for a quick bite. I’ll need to try it again. I did like that I could get lots of stuff in my sandwich, for whatever that’s worth

Had a yen for falafel and was close by, so visited first time. Very efficient, if somewhat callous, service by attendant who prepared my order, on bread, mouth my choices of veggies and sauces. Never asked if I wanted a drink, so didn’t order one(made coffee at home). Falafel was OK, nothing to write home about. Setting is like a company cafeteria, acceptable, I guess. Clean. Some families came in while we were eating. Not sure will come again. Rather pricey given all we ate were vegetables and bread.

Have passed this spot many times and finally decided to give it a try. Was pleasantly surprised. You order from the counter and tell them how you want it.(no waitress service… Etc) We both ordered the salad bowls to go with the Steak Kebob, and lots of fun choices to go on top like olives, banana peppers, feta, babaganoush and so on. But then the brick oven pides caught my eye, and had the get their version of the meat lovers, although the one I got did not have mushrooms or peppers as listed on the sign, but that was just perfect for me since I do not really like either… And it was amazing. The other options looked good also. Basically another variation of pizza but with different flavors, what could be wrong with that. You must try these. We took out, but they have tables so you can eat there, but it is very bright and kind of sterile looking and not inviting to sit, at least not for dinner. I could see it being ok setting for casual lunch. The only complaint was that the steak was a little inconsistent… some pieces were tender and flavorful and others tough and not so. They do serve wine and beer which was kind of interesting. Prices are also not absorbent like so many In the area. We will be back for pickup meals and see if the next meal pushes my 3.5 to s 4.

There are a few things that could be done better/underwhelming, or had better elsewhere: (the baklava sucks); the pide is a bit greasy; the counter service is a little miserable for the price; the hummus /babaganoush lacked something One of the meat dishes was underwhelming. HOWABOUT A LAMBGYRO, DONERKEBAB, people? Really, no lamb? BUT the falafel sandwich is ridiculously good, and most times that’s all you need.

Burnt food and confusing layout. Aside from all of our food being burnt to a crisp, whoever designed the layout of this restaurant made it extremely hard for any patron to order their meal. Right to left numbered ordering system with no pre-created suggested options make the experience here horrible for families. Also, stay away from their sandwiches as they are not pockets and just fall right apart.

Always pleased with my food. I always eat here when I’m working in the area. Falafel, jasmine rice, pickled red cabbage, Kalamata olives, spicey feta, and hummus, with Tahini and yogurt sauce. Most definitely my favorite combo yet. Not entirely crazy about the pita. I’ve had both types of pita offered at Wild Fig and it wasn’t the best(call it personal preference), chewy and not too flavorful. Although, not terrible when dipped in hummus or spicey feta. ** I would use the spicey feta as toothpaste.** **Just a suggestion, try and wipe the tables down more frequently. ** Plenty of seating with a nice open feel.

I’m writing this review literally as I walked out of this place and got into my car. He only reason this place is getting two stars out of me is because they had sriracha available which seemed to be placed on every customer’s table probably to mask the horrible tasteless, flavorless food of theirs. I walked in with my girlfriend and instantly I wanted to turn back out. To me, it looked exactly like a chipotle layout. She insisted we stay as she’s been wanting to try it out for months now. I decided to share a plate with her and not order my own ’cause my gut told me no. Thank god I didn’t. She ended up getting the rice plate with chicken that comes with 4sides. We opted for salad and more rice, no extras and a soda. For the $ 11.25 it cost, it was most definitely NOT worth it. We sat down at a table and I took one piece off the chicken skewer, ate it and I swear my stomach turned in knots within about 3−4min as I was searching on Unilocal for a different place that I wanted to eat at after. The bread that they give you with your meal is no better, it was hard and stale. The food has no taste. No seasoning. And according to my gf, she stopped eating a little after halfway through when she bit into a piece of chicken that was way too tough to even chew. The only good part of this plate was the soda and the rice. But then again, how can one mess up plain white rice? Parking is very easy to get as there are many spots available. The location seems great. The service I guess was standard but the food is just absolutely horrocious. Usually, I tend to give places a second chance, a time to redeem themselves but this has fucked me so hard, I wouldn’t and will never return to this establishment. Also, why is there no damn toilet paper in the bathrooms??? C’mon guys, get it together for the sake of people who do come in the future.

Amazing place! I legit go here every day LOL. I ALWAYS get the chicken rice bowl with hummus, red onions, cucumbers and tomatoes, and the feta cheese. Chicken rice bowl: 5⁄5 — SO. DELICIOUS. AND. ADDICTING. I prefer their chicken over their steak. But the real hero is their JASMINERICE. Get the jasmine, don’t mind the other rice option. Jasmine is where it’s at. I basically live in Wild Fig. It’s my Go-to place for anything. But why 4⁄5 if I love it so much? Well… the service sucks. A lot. I always have to ask for more than I receive. They can be a little«greedy,» ESPECIALLY when it comes to giving hummus. And the prices are meh too. I guess it’s a liiittle high because of the free pita bread they give you. But other than that, the food here is AMAZING. Don’t miss out!

I always go for the salad bowl with Pomegranate dressing. Chicken kebab is my meat of choice. You allotted 4 toppings so I go with feta, red cabbage, red onions, n the cucumber salad(it has a fancy name but ain’t nobody got time for that). I get my whole wheat pita n fountain drink and I’m ready to go. The pides are also good and filling. Lunch rush can be overwhelming at times if you want to find a seat but other than that the service is always great n they try to get you to your food as fast as possible. Love this place a lil too much

I haven’t totally made up my mind. The restaurant is set up like a Chipotle, in the way that you order, and pick out your food. It is definitely pricey for what it is, but I’m sure that’s just their way of making you contribute to the expensive real estate in the area. The best way I can describe Wild Fig so far — it looks better than it tastes. When I think Turkish/Mediterranean food… I immediately think of food rich in spices and just simply put packing lots of flavor! However the food was a bit on the blander side believe it or not. Specifically the chicken flatbread pide thing… looked friggin great, however the taste didn’t match the looks unfortunately. I’ll definitely be heading here at least one more time to give them another chance when I head out of the office for lunch.
